My daughter was talking her senior pictures and forgot her shoes for her fun picture but they were so understanding and was able to take the photos strategically to not get her bottom half. But I do want to shout out, I believe her name was Chasidy. She was so helpful, my daughter felt so relaxed and comfortable throughout her retake for her yearbook pictures and I was grateful. And not to mention she didn't know if I was her mom or sister so tens across the board lol. But I will say they are a bit pricy so, if there is a deal they are offering. Jump on it. I am submitting this complaint to raise serious concerns about CADY's pricing and photo release practices related to senior portraits taken at my son's high school. During the scheduled senior photo session, students were photographed in the same setting, by the same photographer, wearing the same cap and gown. Families were later provided access to a portion of those photos and charged a fee to purchase them. Months after many families had already paid, CADY released *additional photos from the same exact session*--same day, same wardrobe, same background--with no material difference other than pose, and is now charging an entirely new fee to access those images. This raises significant ethical and transparency concerns. Families had no way of knowing: * How many poses were taken during the session * That additional images would be withheld and released later * That accessing a "complete" set of photos would require multiple payments If all photos were taken during a single session, it is reasonable for consumers to expect full disclosure upfront or a single, comprehensive release. Releasing images in stages and charging separate fees appears to take advantage of families' lack of information and creates the perception of a "paywall by design." This practice feels misleading and erodes trust. It is not unreasonable to ask: * Why were all photos not released at the same time? * Why was there no clear communication that more images would be released later? * Why are families being charged multiple times for photos taken in one sitting? While this may be technically permissible, it is a poor business practice and does not reflect customer-centered or ethical standards--especially when working with schools and families who reasonably assume transparency. I strongly encourage CADY to reconsider this approach and provide clearer communication, fair pricing, and full disclosure so families can make informed decisions without feeling taken advantage of. read more

Company is SHADY as... You buy a package from them and they send you items that you did NOT order. They then charge the cc you used to pay for the items you actually wanted. You are then forced to wait for them to receive thr item back (that you never wanted or ordered) and credit your account. I ordered graduation pictures from Cady Photography on April 30, and they promised delivery by May 21 so I can send out my daughter's invitation with her pictures. It's now June 9, and I still haven't received them. I've had to follow up multiple times with no resolution. They refuse to issue a refund, citing a "no refund policy," despite the delay being entirely their fault. They also have send that they sent me a digital copy that cost around $100 that I did not asked for. I'm extremely disappointed in their service and lack of accountability. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable photography experience. read more

Whoever handles the website must be fired EXPEDITIOUSLY. Not only has the website compromised my physical health and my mental health, but I am currently writing with sore fingers after placing my order online due to having to repeat my booking 5 times. This is due to there being time limit of 5 mins to input credit/debit card information, nowhere near enough time to thoroughly check and make sure information was inputted properly. It should also be duly noted that the website continues to try to trick you into buying more things, either by adding things to your receipt without you choosing them or continuing to ask you to upgrade your booking. When you pay, you also cannot go back to preview your order, making it exceptionally difficult to navigate and check if your money has been spent correctly. It is evident that the designers of the website (or their bosses) are hell-bent on creating a product of MALICIOUS capitalism aimed at draining our wallets. Everyone. This is a warning. Be careful. (P.S. the staff at the studio were all incredibly nice people. My review is not aimed at the them, but at the website itself) read more

If I could review this with no stars I would. One of our favorite shots included my husband's reflection in the background. They refused to edit him out. Second, the photographer checking us out was supposed to notify us to select our son's yearbook image. Since she did not, they selected one for us and refused to change it. The manager was notified and told us that it was their fault, but there was nothing that they could do to fix it. They were nice enough I suppose. The manager was useless. The photographers were alright. But they swapped us around between five or so. I couldn't tell you any names. Nobody got our son to loosen up at all. The entire process was extremely confusing. And though they admitted fault, they refused to remedy it at all. At least they were "unable to" without additional payment. Find another studio is our best suggestion. read more

Horrible experience. I would go elsewhere. We took our daughter for senior pictures. That session included both senior photos and cap and gown photos. After the session was over they gave us their pitch to purchase the photos. So we opted to pay about $250 for the package. During that discussion no one mentioned that that $250 didn't include the cap and gown photos that were taken that day. We get the proofs which were horrible and had to reshoot photos with them. Then fast forward to the cap and gown photos becoming available and they want an additional $250! Seriously? They are not honest at all about their pricing and when speaking to them on the phone they are not very professional about it. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! If you have identical twins DO NOT get your photos here. I booked a session for my twins and somehow they ended up in one account but I paid for each session. The yearbook pics were complimentary and submitted before deadline and when the yearbook came out only one twin was on there with her sisters name. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I called repeatedly to correct this issue and I keep getting the run around. They are so rude of the phone and just say they will get it to a manger but NOTHING! Money grab place. I specifically requested and paid for acne to be removed, but the photos I received still showed them. When I called, I was told acne removal is a "premier option" that costs extra. Why wasn't this explained in the first place? I was very clear with the front desk that I wanted the acne removed when I was quoted the price. The website was confusing (other parents have said the same.) It was difficult to determine what is essential and what is optional for senior pictures, so I signed up for several scenes. When I arrived, I was told it could take a couple of hours to complete all the scenes. I realized at that point that the scenes were not essential and wanted to only do the cap & gown and yearbook pictures. I asked to have my order changed before any pictures were taken, and they told me it was impossible to make that change or get a refund. After the shoot, I was told that CADY chooses the pictures they will print, not the parents or the student. I also found out that although I paid over $120, I would not be given any digital files or prints and that basically I paid for the sitting which I didn't really want anyway. I was also told that if I am willing to pay $350, I will get to keep some of the pictures (of their choosing) but that there is no option to get less pictures for a smaller amount. Overall, I find this company to be a scam and will be letting others know of my experience. The only positive thing I can say is that the photographers were friendly. read more

Awful, deceptive, and predatory. Pricing was so unclear- their website made it sound like the lower priced packages were group sessions. Knowing that would make my kid uncomfortable, I sprung for a session with a private photographer for $600. I told them we didn't need all the locations, hair/ makeup, etc: I only paid that amount for a private session. We were there for a couple of hours (instead of the 6 allotted). During our shoot it became clear that private and public sessions were the same. Lots of people watching no matter what. "Oh well, lesson learned", I thought- we finished and were on our way. The main thing was getting his graduation pic, since Cady was the official photographer recommended by his high school. Not so fast- on our way out they needed a $50 deposit for the photo package they would "present" to us the following week. We returned to view the photos: they put you in a private room where you watch this slide show of pictures while "time of your life" plays in the background. Tissue boxes on the table. Really trying to tug at your heart strings. Woulda worked if there was any kind of personal attention but you get a sense that you're just one of many schmucks who sat on that same couch today. At the end I said there were 3 photos I might be interested in purchasing. For 3 digital images they charge $1400!!! I laughed out loud. For that amount it better be Annie Leibovitz shooting for Vogue not Chris from Conroe. (Our Photog was actually decent- it's the company that's awful.) I explained we knew someone who paid $250 and got 40 digital with that package. I paid $700 and got none? They said ours was a "different package". Look out folks- find your own photographer. This place is a joke that wants to take you for a ride. And the customer service is non-existent. The manager in the woodlands is an actual waste of space. You could tell she deals with unhappy customers all day - just a blank face with no thoughts happening behind those eyes. Learn from my mistake folks and go elsewhere if you can! read more

MY ISSUE - THE ORDERING IS FLAWED. I received and email to put in a order. I placed the order but noticed it had my daughter dad (ex) as the account holder YET the email link was sent to my email account. - ODD - I corrected the address that I want the pictures sent to. BUT was not able to change the name SOOO it was addressed to my ex. THEN. my package came with a digital photo and video - THAT was sent to HIM and in order for me to have access to it, HE NEED to call - then they would need to submit a ticket then have that ticket go out... BIG ISSUE - we aren't on talking bases so now he has the digital photo/ video that I PAID FOR. MAIN FLAW was that I was not able to change/ input the email address AND I was not able to change he name my photos are addressed to YET... The email I received to purchase pictures was sent to my email BUT was linked to his account. FLAWED ordering system for paying so much!! read more

The 100$ credit that comes with packet you originally chose before coming and taking those pictures cannot be apply if you choose package less than 1,000$ when purchasing the pictures. Moreover, staff' s attitude toward us is very bad. We was not satisfied by the pictures and only choose package one. Once that person who is in charge of our presentation heard about that, she does not have good attitude towards us. She then dropped the paper we need to sign to verify payment and left right away, even before we head out the office. This is a really bad experience. I would not recommend taking pictures other than your required yearbook pictures here. read more

CADY has been more than a disappointment and unprofessional in their service provided - our shipment was lost and after waiting for 3 weeks called them and they had no idea on the package status - promised to check and update us which they did not do & we had to keep calling them a couple of time more to get updates; eventually agreed to resend another package which arrived almost 7 days later than promised date.
