Well I received several recommendations but none just wow'd me and I figured I should search Yelp duh why wouldn't a Yelp Elite come to Yelp 1st right?? Well because sometimes my fellow Yelpers are foodies and we review what we do most so I checked for local photographer and came across this hidden gem (ok hidden to me) but it's no secret to Friendswood and I'm excited to say I'm looking forward to my daughters session; from the few pics on Yelp to their Instagram I knew I wanted to have her session done by this genius!!! We have gone to the consultation and my quiet daughter was open and speaking with Mr David like she's known him so I know they will have a great session!! So looking forward to June!!! So check back late June for the update and who knows I may share a photo but until then just do like I did and check their Instagram and Website and be amazed it's like magazine celebrity shots!!

With their good recommendation, I decided to use DC Stanley as our wedding photographer. My advice to anyone who is looking for a photographer is to make sure to have a comfortable relationship with good rapport. David (DC Stanley) is very relatable and laid back. Positives: -Price. I think he hits the right price point for me. He has great packages that usually include prints, DVD for the wedding pictures, wedding book and engagement, bridal and wedding sessions. -Quality. The quality of his work is very good. He knows his way around a camera or two! I would go on his website to look at his work. -Misc. They will design invitations, save the dates, etc. I did not use their services for these, but I was aware they do have this available to you. -This is a family business. His wife, "V", does a lot of the business side and she is very responsive to all e-mails and phone calls. His studio is pretty cool. Negatives: -His studio is in Friendswood, so not easy access to everyone in Houston. Although, they are very accommodating when trying to set up a meeting (on Sundays, etc) Overall, he is a great guy and a great photographer! Can't go wrong, but wish me luck on my wedding as I will update once its all over!

I appreciate the professionalism and quick response time. Well I believe that 99% of people that receive EXCEPTIONAL service end up writing a positive review about their experience! So here I am reviewing Habashy Photography's exceptional service. Backstory: My wife has been yearning for a family photo session for quite some time now. I, on the other hand, have been avoiding it at all costs. Three reasons: (1) we have a 3-year old, (2) we have a 1-year old, and (3) they're boys. Don't get me wrong. They're adorable and we need to capture as many pictures of them as we can while that cuteness lasts. But herding cats that caught on fire would be easier. Every time I try to picture (no pun intended) how the photo session would go, it ends with the photographer giving us back our money, putting his camera up for sale, and dialing up his psychiatrist. Along comes Habashy. To put it simply, he is the real deal. Talented, patient (I suspect he may even be a toddler-whisperer) and provides excellent all-around customer service. Talent: Not much I can say other than the dude has got an eye for this kind of thing. Habashy has an uncanny ability at turning a seemingly ordinary moment into extraordinary memory with one quick snap. Patient: As previously mentioned, we have 2 high-energy boys with the combined attention span of a fly with severe ADHD. Yet Habashy genuinely displayed the patience of a monk as he somehow got them to sit still, smile and even hug! Customer Service: In my opinion, this is the most important factor that makes or breaks any service regardless of quality. Once again, in this area, Habashy excelled. He was genuinely courteous and listened to all our needs. The turnaround was amazing. We got our pictures the very same day and they looked absolutely breathtaking. All-in-all, if you're looking for a photo session and have been hesitant whatever the reason maybe, just call on Habashy, show up, and have him take care of the rest. You won't regret it.

I love it when I walk into an event only to find that they have a photo booth. They have a way of…read moreinstantly taking a party from meh to awesome...there's no potential for dull or awkward moments, only ridiculous poses and uncontrollable laughter. I recently attended a benefit featuring the Snap in a Box photo booth. I've now had the honor (and the occasional horror) of having my picture taken in more than a few photo booths, and Snap in a Box is my hands down favorite. The owners, who are super friendly, patiently watched my friends and me take picture after picture. I'm probably the least photogenic person on earth, but every single one came out perfect. At one point I even tried to challenge the booth to take a bad picture of me by repeatedly giving it my worst angle, but nope. Still perfect. And it wasn't just me; even my pickiest friends loved their pics. They have a ton of props, including giant sunglasses, boas, sparkly mustaches, lips on a stick, viking helmets, bunny ears, and devil horns, plus you can easily share your pics vie email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I'm already looking forward to my next Snap in a Box experience.
