So, I was a little apprehensive when my fiancee wanted me to meet Shelly, our photographer. I explained to Shelly all of the above and told her to please give me direction and a little help. Agreed. Off to do the engagement photos. If there's one thing I appreciated, it was her gently reminding us to get our chins out (think like a turtle and stretch!) when necessary. When we just couldn't bend ourselves into the pose she had in mind and we didn't look comfortable, she didn't force it, she just said "let's try something else." She had us do several things to keep us from thinking about the camera and got some really creative shots. I'm not afraid of how our wedding album will come out. Shelly's good. Check her out.

He came to my office and set up his little studio with lights and everything. The best part was being able to view the photos on the computer screen as they were taken! I plan to have him come back and photograph the employees and our business in action.

She knows how to set the right feeling and make things comfortable while capturing your best self. -------------------- I scheduled with Tracy for a quick express session for professional headshots. I needed something quick for graduate school, but also something that I could use on LinkedIn, etc. Tracy reached out via my Yelp project immediately and offered her time for a phone consultation and got me in so quickly. She has been that efficient throughout the whole process, never sacrificing quality. I even got there a little late with traffic and her team had prepared and didn't make me feel flustered. They were so welcoming. Her portfolio stunned me and I LOVED my gallery she sent to me THE SAME DAY AS MY SHOOT. Her studio is adorable and her team is wonderful. They're funny, talented, and did I mention efficient? She is an all around fantastic photographer for any shoot or style. She captured me and the aura of what I needed for graduate school and career beyond. BOOK her. Even if you're a little awkward like me she'll make you look like a professional badass! We recently found out my daughter is allergic to frosting. She took the time out to research a solution. She ended up with a watermelon "cake" with sugar free whipped cream that my daughter really enjoyed. Absolutely loved the decorations and how pleasant she is to work with. Without any hesitation, we plan on doing my daughter's two year photos with her again. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had fun. I definitely, 100% recommend having your child's pictures taken with her. * Yes, I did add an emoji over my daughter's face.*
