I used to go here in middle school all the time to the point where they recognized me every time I go. In high school I walked in and they remembered what I'd always get. But now since I moved there's no other place that will replace this Foster's Donuts. I'll be visiting once my mom and I go out to the Valley. I hope they still remember me. I moved houses so I don't live near the shop anymore. Today {Saturday June 4, 2022, I went to Angel Donuts and the chocolate chip cinnamon roll donut was delicious but not as amazing as theirs. (Said in my best Dos Equis voice) I don't always eat donuts, but when I do, I prefer Foster's Donuts. It is my belief that you need to go big or go home ... and these donuts fit the bill. The glazed donut is quite possibly the best I've ever had. Super fluffy, airy, not greasy and with just the right amount of glaze (not too much but not too little either). I also tried their cronuts in a variety of flavors (plain, cream cheese, lemon and strawberry). A hybrid between a donut and a croissant, it's flaky, yet not dry and has a generous dusting of powdered sugar on top. My personal fav is the cream cheese, but they were all delicious. I was randomly in the area visiting family who was in town and turned to Yelp for recommendations for a good non Yum-Yum doughnut shop. This place definitely fit the bill. All the doughnuts were fresh and tasty and they had a very good variety. The family definitely ate these up. I have to say the one that stood out leaps and bounds over the rest though was the cronut. I had never had a cronut before, described as a mix between a croissant and a doughnut so I was a little hesitant, even though I like both thinking it might be dried out or something, but it wasn't it was flaky and delicious and magical like a pegasus mixed with a unicorn. The donuts here are really good but if you want a breakfast sandwich I suggest you go to sweetberry donuts down the road. I came into fosters today because it was on my way home and the guy wasn't really helpful at all. I ended up just getting a plain croissant because he refused to not put cheese on the sandwich that I wanted. Also, I suggest you bring cash because I had to use my card and they have a 95 cent fee in order to process it when all the other places generally charge like 35 cents.
