After a quick search I found that Earl's was just down the street from where I was staying, I decided that today would be a great time to have donuts for dinner! I wasn't looking for the usual glazed or chocolate dipped donuts, I wanted something a little more fun. I walked in and before me like a vision of heaven I saw a display of the most glorious donuts imaginable. I stepped up to the display and gazed upon the magnificence laid out before me, it was overwhelming! Fortunately there was a young lady behind the counter that would be my guide, who would help me on this sweet journey. I wanted them all but with help I was able to whittle my selection down to something my stomach could handle. I took a seat in their dining area and began my luscious adventure. Each bite was a glimpse of nirvana, I savored every moment. I soon came to the realization that my donut box was now empty, but my stomach was full, and I was happy. I shall return one day to continue this sweet voyage.

I ordered from here on a whim because I mostly wanted boba tea and something sweet to perk me up on…read morea dreary morning. I was astounded by how good the donuts are, enough to come write a review about them. They are genuinely the best I've ever tasted (working in an office, you end up tasting a LOT of donuts...): they're light and fluffy without feeling empty or full of air, while simultaneously dense enough for a satisfying bite. The taste is always fresh, never greasy or like stale oil. Other donuts sit like concrete in my stomach, but not these! I've ordered the assorted dozen donuts multiple times as well to share with coworkers and appreciated the thoughtful variety of sprinkles, twists, bars, filled, glazed, chocolate, and more, all neatly placed in the box. I later tried the bear claw and apple fritter, both an impressive size and with an apple filling that was not too tart nor too sweet. There was a generous amount of filling as well without making the pastry soggy. The glaze is just the right consistency, a perfect glassy sheen. The first boba I got was a thai tea that was a little bitter, perhaps steeped too long, so for future orders I opted for the fruit smoothies with boba instead. The smoothies are a drinkable thickness and not overly sweet, and the boba texture has a good chew, not too goopy and not too firm. I still want to try their house milk tea as well as give the thai tea another chance. I hope to try their breakfast sandwiches soon too. Overall thrilled to be supporting a local business and to have my taste in donuts raised to a new standard.

My name is James Hawkins my wife is Brenda I am compelled to share a very true story. We met Larry about three years ago. We stumbled into his store for a donut and a cold water. We had just been devastated by the Porter Ranch Gas Leak where we were both heavily exposed to the gas but worse than that I was on a nine month regimen of a chemo therapy to cure me of the Hep C virus. the medications Sovaldi and Ribacvarin used in Cancer treatment they are deadly. they have to be that how we are killing cancer and other viruses At any rate my exposure almost turned deadly for me Emergency surgery and 7 days in the hospital they saved my life but my brain paid a very have price. I am unable to work and we lost eve3rything were living in a car. Larry offered to help and help he did he supported us literally for the past 24 months. he saved our lives and we now have a home that's ours we rent He stood by and put lots a money towards us. We owe him our life. But it does not stop there its what I now Know as fact because I witnessed it all. I watched Larry every day make 25%-35% more batter he does this because he feeds a hundred homeless people every day at least. I have watched as this man helps to no end He gives his sweat , his blood and his love and asks for nothing back . I mean nothing back. I even know why because Larry came from Vietnam during the Vietnam War It took him three try's to get out the first time it cost him a fellow friend they were escaping together they got caught his friend died Larry was sent to the area called the killing fields. where as a prisoner they grew rice for the Communist regime the Khmer Rouge They worked prisoners to death. Larry attempted an escape again and got caught again another rice camp torture starvation and the third time he got to Las and finally a year later to the US in the hull of a ship. Larry s love for life is surpassed by only one thing his love of his wife whom I know he adores and why shouldn't he She is Larrys wife and she is just like him. They love to love The work till they drop and every day they reach out to touch somebody anybody who needs a friend. Larry is also to be known for his delicious donuts. God Bless you Larry We will never forget what our angel looked like as our angel was you. Thank you for everything. God smiles every day because of you and my wife and I have plenty to smile about as well We have you as our friend and you have proven it only takes one to make all the difference in the world read more
