Love the customer service. When I'm in the area I buy the donuts for my staff. Many of them have said these donuts are the best. My grandfather also loved the glaze donuts here more than any place. Gotta say give them a try!

Their plain unglazed donut is so fluffy and delicious! I've been here twice and the gentleman is so nice. This is your typical no frills neighborhood donut shop that makes solid donuts. My dad loves donut holes and I prefer to get them for him from here. Ample parking in a shared lot with Domino's Pizza. read more

I read such good reviews about this place I decided to give it a try. I bought two apple fritters and they were very hard. I don't know if they were overcooked or stale but they weren't soft at all. I'm not planning on coming back for more. The man who sold me the donuts was very nice, he even gave me a free donut. read more

People online (reddit) all rave about Donut King and I finally FINALLY see what I'd been missing! I bought a half dozen variety of donuts from Donut King in Chatsworth and I must say these were by far the worst donuts I have ever tasted of all the donut shops in Chatsworth and couldn't wait to throw them away. I will never be buying donuts from here ever again and have now switched to buying all my donuts at Earls Donuts located in Chatsworth at Mason Ave and Devonshire St who by far has superior fresh and great tasting donuts in comparison to here and they even give you a free donut with the purchase of 6. read more

This is one of the best donut places I've been to! Always FRESH. Always friendly. I stop here rather than Dunkin' on my way to work. The guy behind the counter is awesome. He's so friendly and always has something cool to say. But really it comes down to the donuts, which are seriously the best. Nothing is better than fresh and I can tell these really are made fresh daily. So good. I'll be stopping in at least twice a week! read more

This is my second visit. The owner has no common sense and his food does not taste good. I went the first time and ordered a bagel with cream cheese. He inserted about 4 donut holes into the bag. What I ended up eating was a bagel with cream cheese and sugar flakes all over. It was not good. The sugar had a metallic taste to it as well. I returned and ordered a banana nut muffin. Again, he tried to insert some donut holes, but I stopped him. When I ate the muffin, it was hard and crusty. It appears to have been over baked by 20 minutes and had to be tossed out. I told a few co-workers about this dump and they laughed at me. Apparently everyone knows that they can't get the one thing you are named for correct. Donut King is the "King of the Worst Donuts" in my book. read more

I needed a coffee to keep me motivated for the first 3rd of my work day today. No time or funds for Buttbucks. Donut King. Ordered a large, black coffee.... and a bagel... there goes the diet. This was probably the worst coffee that I've ever had. But the guy who was there working all by himself was the most adorable, attentive and silly little Asian man! I just loved him. He made sure that I had everything I needed, knew the prices (which I wasn't even concerned about) and that I was smiling throughout the whole process! I just wanted to plant a fat one on his little face! 7 stars for phenomenal Customer Service! read more

Larry is a great guy who makes wonderful donuts. Whether I'm stopping in to grab one or ordering a couple dozen for a class party, Donut King is my go-to donut place. I've tried the Foster's Donuts that is catty-corner on this intersection and found that they were more expensive and I didn't enjoy them as much. So it's Donut King for me. read more

First time here and I love it. Larry is the owner. They've been in business longer than I've been alive! 31 years! Can you believe it!? I got a taro and a Thai tea blended boba drink and it was delicious. I got a boba from a different place yesterday and it was gross. The bobas were all nasty and tasted weird. But! Donut kings boba was PERFECT! I also got a mix of a dozen donuts. And Larry tosses in donut holes for free! He is super kind and makes great donuts! They also donated to the teachers, so your indirectly supporting the teacher when you support donut king. read more

Service is 5 stars- they have classic and cute sprinkled donuts. The owner was very nice and gave me free regular and mini donuts along with my dozen order. Each donut was cooked perfectly and I could tell that they were made that same day...tasted so fresh! If you get their boston cream donut you will not regret it! it is not too sweet so you can really taste the custard filling and enjoy the chocolate topping at the same time. read more

I'm pretty surprised that this place got so many good reviews. The texture of these donuts were just okay, but they were waay too sweet for my taste. I bought two but threw away one. They didn't taste fresh at all, I felt like I was just eating something that's just been sitting on shelf for a long time. The fact that I went around noon might've contributed to it, but I also felt unsure about cleanliness of the place. I would suggest to go to fosters donuts right across from this place. One of the best donuts I've had. read more

I got two glazed donuts and two chocolate glaze donuts. They charge a credit card fee here but it's not a lot. They also have limited seating area here as well. The donuts were okay, I like the chocolate glazed more than the original.

My name is James Hawkins my wife is Brenda I am compelled to share a very true story. We met Larry about three years ago. We stumbled into his store for a donut and a cold water. We had just been devastated by the Porter Ranch Gas Leak where we were both heavily exposed to the gas but worse than that I was on a nine month regimen of a chemo therapy to cure me of the Hep C virus. the medications Sovaldi and Ribacvarin used in Cancer treatment they are deadly. they have to be that how we are killing cancer and other viruses At any rate my exposure almost turned deadly for me Emergency surgery and 7 days in the hospital they saved my life but my brain paid a very have price. I am unable to work and we lost eve3rything were living in a car. Larry offered to help and help he did he supported us literally for the past 24 months. he saved our lives and we now have a home that's ours we rent He stood by and put lots a money towards us. We owe him our life. But it does not stop there its what I now Know as fact because I witnessed it all. I watched Larry every day make 25%-35% more batter he does this because he feeds a hundred homeless people every day at least. I have watched as this man helps to no end He gives his sweat , his blood and his love and asks for nothing back . I mean nothing back. I even know why because Larry came from Vietnam during the Vietnam War It took him three try's to get out the first time it cost him a fellow friend they were escaping together they got caught his friend died Larry was sent to the area called the killing fields. where as a prisoner they grew rice for the Communist regime the Khmer Rouge They worked prisoners to death. Larry attempted an escape again and got caught again another rice camp torture starvation and the third time he got to Las and finally a year later to the US in the hull of a ship. Larry s love for life is surpassed by only one thing his love of his wife whom I know he adores and why shouldn't he She is Larrys wife and she is just like him. They love to love The work till they drop and every day they reach out to touch somebody anybody who needs a friend. Larry is also to be known for his delicious donuts.
