The house was not a mess, but did need to be cleaned for move out, hence why I hired her to conduct a move out cleaning service. Like I said in my previous post, she arrived at my front door (did not enter the home) and had excuses of why she couldn't clean, such as her wrist injury and needing to move storage items the following day. She then entered the homes bathroom and said this is bad and said she could not clean and to find someone else. How do you expect me to find someone at the last minute? I hope you have a better day and your wrist gets better. I did choose Chelsea because of her 5 star review. Although it may have been true for everyone else, it was not in my case. Please, if you know you can't do a job, have the courtesy to just cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to do the job and not injure yourself further. No apology, no nothing.

I discovered Tidy Temptations on a parent group for my neighborhood in Queen Anne. I've had several cleaning services who've completed a 5hr deep clean with a two-person team but it was never to my expectation of a meticulous deep clean that leaves me feeling at peace with my home. One in particular stands out: a new resident moving into memory care had no family to assist, so Ruth went to the house to pack items. She saw he had M&M's literally everywhere, so she bought two beautiful jars and filled them with M&Ms. She saw he had all right-foot shoes so she bought him a new matching pair. She saw he lost weight so she measured him and got him new pants. She saw he loved old western films so when she saw an original signed old western poster she bought it for a focal point in his new living room. His new legal guardian was even blown away by her attention and organization to detail and logistics. WOW. Ruth truly is the Second Daughter to ensure move day is seamless. She remains cool while organizing chaos. She hugs the daughters who are falling apart from stress. She washes dirty laundry, irons socks. She goes the distance with love. I could not recommend her highly enough, and I'm thrilled to have her as a key partner to assist families.

I needed to schedule a move out cleaning and received Maria's info as a referral. To be clear, the…read more2 stars is for the customer service/business side. The cleaning part itself would be 4 stars. Maria charged me an amount flagrantly higher than the estimate. She came over, looked at the unit, and quote me a range based on an hourly rate ($240-$300). When I called her to confirm the total after the cleaners were done (they didn't know how much I was supposed to pay), she said the total was $500, because she had sent 2 people and the hourly rate was per person. Because of the "confusion," she reduced it to $400. She didn't tell me beforehand that the hourly cost was per cleaner nor did she tell me that the she was sending two cleaners, thus rendering the estimate useless. It was also a huge pain scheduling with her. Her staff were not very responsive nor did they follow up as promised for scheduling after the estimate, compromising the availability of my appointment. The cleaners themselves, Kay and Nadiya, did an awesome job. They were on time and did the job in the time expected. The unit was cleaner than when I moved in. The only annoying thing was the cleaners using my knife to clean the oven and sticking it in the dish rack without care. If it weren't for the issue with the cost and scheduling, I would be glad to use this company again. The results were excellent! As it stands, their business practices are inconsistent for the consumer and I don't think I'll be calling again.
