Beware if hiring this contractor to touch your bathroom! We had this company come to refinish our…read moretub after another contractor scratched it. In doing the resurfacing, the woman who was here had to detach the drain and overflow in order to fully resurface the tub. Upon reattaching, she did both incorrectly. I am not familiar with plumbing, so I did not realize her mistake. After taking a bath, I am cleaning up and I hear dripping water downstairs. I instantly run down and water is pouring all over my entryway. I instantly called a contractor who was able to come over immediately. After investigating, we discovered she had reversed the seals on the drain and had put a metal bar between the rubber seal and the tub, making it completely ineffective and sealing the water from leaking (the space that the metal bar overlapped the rubber seal was now two wonderful holes where the water immediately escaped). We now have large ceiling repairs and the leak soaked our exposed cedar beam wraps that will now have to be replaced (redwood cedar is a very expensive material, so this is going to be a big expense). To make matters even more fun, when I attempted to call Andy to tell him what happened, I find his phone is disconnected... again (we found the same thing when getting them out here to do the original job). So go figure, now my husband and I are stuck with the bill to repair all the damage caused by this contractors ineptitude. If a worker does not know basic plumbing, he should never be sending them out to work on tubs!
