Non-judgmental, upbeat, and focused - she brought positive, consistent energy and we made quick progress on clutter and organized several areas so they were more functional and nice looking! All the while, she made sure I was comfortable with what we were working on. Additionally, Jessika was focused on my safety, always wearing a mask, washing her hands, and wearing gloves when needed. She also tested weekly to ensure she was virus free. My energy has improved, my space feels welcoming and calm, and we completed several tasks I'd put off for years. It feels so good to finally have them off my list! I recommend Your Home Girls and Jessika highly! I will hire them again for sure!

I called and was contacted by Jessika on Monday, April 14, 2025, and we talked about my situation, (she was very nice) so then made an appointment for that Thurs. in the morning for a 2 hour assessment ( April 17, 2025.) Then I had to change it to later that afternoon, so it was for 3PM. Then She had to change it again (she didn't realize she "couldn't work until 5,") but said she would call me back that day to reschedule. No callback so I called that afternoon and left a message re: what new appointment time she and I could work out. I called her three times the next day, Friday April 18, leaving messages, and was concerned something might have happened, since no one was calling me back. No word. Weird. Waited all weekend to reconnect. I called again the following Monday, April 21, 2025, left several messages, but never heard back. Huh--Ghosted!!! I guess I must be pretty awful somehow, no matter what they claim to be able to handle and do, and regardless of how nice she, herself, was on the phone. I am disappointed with their lack of professionalism, and, having no experience with their actual services I cannot recommend them.

I identified clothes and books as the…read moreproblem, but, since this was part of an eventual move out of state, I knew that there was more involved. Like most people who find organization challenging, I had the usual empty Amazon boxes in places that they should not have been. I was also sleeping on only half of my bed because the other half was occupied by clothes I had yet to take down to the storage unit. Now, thanks to Holly and Katy, I have far less stuff burdening my life. As a scholar, I was very attached to my books, but even I could see that it was time to part with most of them. What helped enormously was knowing that they would be in good hands. Many would be part of the sale to help the Seattle library, and others would be given to a second-hand bookstore. Holly, understanding my love for my books, had assured that there would be readers who would also value my books. After getting my clothes in an order that even I could understand, Holly helped me identify the clothes that I could do without. Katy did the heavy-duty work, including taking all the heavy boxes filled with books to the car. Holly and Katy saved me the cost of a mover by somehow getting everything into their cars. Katy took on the task of clearing out the supply closet, which had become a haphazard collection of things I could not find another place for. Holly organized the below sink cabinet in the bathroom, another very messy area. I could see how I might follow their lead when I moved to a smaller condo in another state. They showed me how I might organize my belongings so I could find everything and also have a calm and relaxing place to live, free of clutter.

I had the pleasure of working with Bee Organized who did just a tremendous job for my husband and…read moreI. The job in question was to set up functional closet and storage space across our house. We are new homeowners who have accumulated a lot of stuff from multiple moves, hobbies, family members downsizing and passing things off, a wedding, an addiction to the container store (think lots of boxes that don't have a place or a designated purpose), and dogs. When coupled with time-consuming careers and a quirky 1920s house, things were a hot mess until Bee Organized came in. Suzanne, the owner, responded promptly to my inquiry and came out within a few days to do a consultation and a walk-through. I was feeling pretty self-conscious about the state of things with my house but Suzanne put me quickly at ease. She was warm, friendly, non-judge mental and a consummate professional. Suzanne explained the process, shared her recommendations around services. Rates were very reasonable. I particularly appreciated how she noted how they try to incorporate existing storage and organizing items before turning to purchasing new items, which can add to the overall cost. Suzanne gave me some voluntary homework before my scheduled organization day. So prior to my organizing appointments, I spent some time going through my closets and set aside items to be recycled, donated, etc. I strongly encourage people to do this prior to a visit. By doing so, I was able to maximize the time I had with Liz and Alexandra (my organizing *bees*) in setting up functional and organized closets. They were also able to walk me through what items could be donated vs. recycled, which was previously overwhelming to me. Like, how do you recycle textiles? What can be recycled or donated or just thrown away? One visit to a donation/recycling center is included. Liz was able to load up her car and take a load to Goodwill--this was a BIG help to me. This was the first day--getting things organized and cleared out. The second day was building organizational systems and putting the items away. I so appreciate the precision, creativity and thought that went into making our closets functional. Liz and Alexandra ended up installing additional shelves and getting selecting containers by closet and shelf dimension. I would not have had the foresight and capacity to do this on my own. Their work really laid the foundation for me to continue to build a more functional and organized home. Beyond that, Liz and Alexandra were lovely and easy to collaborate with. They had great ideas and suggestions. The service really did pay for itself and a huge relief to have done going into the new school year. I definitely plan to use this service again in the future and encourage people to consider Bee Organized.

Brief overview:…read more Melinda is wonderful. She is thoughtful in her approach with great ideas about organization and a strong work ethic. My life has changed dramatically for the better after my time with her. Organization is well worth it and getting support makes it easier and quicker. We organized my entire apartment from Kitchen to my under the bed storage! My experience has continued past my time with Melinda and I've been able to use her expertise to start organizing my garage. If you're on the fence about getting an organizer to help you, get off the fence. I feel worlds better about my space and the organization is sustainable and will increase my home experience for years to come A bit longer of a review for those of you who want to understand the full experience I had with Melinda. Some facts, I live in less than 550 sq/ft with multiple cats. I'm not inclined to hoarding but definitely keep stuff. I'm handy and more than capable of doing organization. I am not capable of doing organization well, which became super apparent after my experience with Melinda. The process: - It starts with a phone call but I didn't know how long to book Melinda to complete the work. After a discussion and video call, she recommended 20 hours, which I scheduled. I'd be lying if I didn't look around after booking and think, "is 20 hours too much?? How could it take that long." But Melinda's pricing can account for this problem. More importantly, we didn't need to because it took just shy of that much time! She nailed it. - The first day we got everything out and purged...and purged...and sorted...and assessed. It was awesome. Melinda isn't pushy and presents the stuff you have in a neutral manner asking questions about it's use and need (or even emotional attachment). - Throughout the day, she sends stuff to purchase for organization. It's all optional and up to you. None of it was overly expensive though your space will likely determine the need for purchases. I went a bit all out and it cost me about $400 in shelves/cubbies and other items. Most were individually fairly priced and some I upgraded. I chose to spend another $200 on items after we were done. Ever single penny was worth it and there are ways to do it cheaper or more extravagant. - Day 2 was more purging while the organization starts. Her systems were discussed with me before anything started and Melinda geared the process towards what works For me! She quickly adapted to organizing different areas of the home - The final day finished up the organization followed by a discussion of what was left to do. At this point, I made the decision to stop at the agreed upon 20 hours but could have scheduled her for another 3 hours but I didn't have the things I needed to be productive. One last plug: Before booking Melinda, I found myself thinking that organizing my home and garage was something I could do myself. It seemed easy, something I would get to, something on the list for a rainy day. That attitude lasted for 3 years and the organization wasn't done. In 3 days, my world changed and I instantly wondered how different my life would have been in the previous years had I hired Melinda back when I moved in. The suggestion: If you're thinking about organization (you are because you've read this far) stop thinking about it and just do it. And if you do it, you won't be unsatisfied by Melinda.

I knew I needed help specifically with my linen closet. What happened is much more than that. We ended up talking about the way that I use the upstairs part of my house (where the linen closet is), as well as the components of my life that I felt were a little bit disorganized, etc. Out of those conversations, Placed Designs ended up creating a central portal for organization in the upper level of my home. I now have a place that holds everything we need for the upstairs, so I don't have to keep running up and down stairs for little things like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, a flashlight or a pair of scissors, etc. It was a problem that I didn't even know I had, and they solved it. Another thing that I liked is they found a way to handle my specific and unique guest room challenge. We have a Murphy bed there, and most of the time it's put up. When we have guests over, we need to pull the Murphy bed down, and grab everything that goes on it quickly and put it altogether. We now have a system for that! Putting away laundry in the linen closet is a joy, honestly because it's so pretty! Placed Designs focuses on the aesthetics of the area that they are organizing, as well as the organization system itself. I cannot wait to hire them again to do more of my house!
