My consultation was easy, informative and super friendly as was the install. I didn't get a lot more space because at the end of the day you can't get blood out of a turnip. But it is so organized and just an overall better use of space!! Because I can now easily see all my clothes, I will wear more of them more often. GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Super happy with the entire service from beginning to end.

A painter came out and he gave us an estimate of $1894.05 to repair the damage and paint the walls caused by the Closet by Design employee/installer. The manager of Closet by Design came to our home to look at the damage and offered to try to clean the spackle with a Home Depot bucket and water which did not work. The painter that came out outlined the only way to fix the issue in his scope of work, which requires sanding, repair, texture and paint. Closets by Design refussed this proposal. The final offer from them is to come back with their Home Depot bucket and water and try again. The professional painters estimate outlines the correct way to repair the damage. Closet by Design now refuses to correct the damage to a professional standard- Contract language- Terms and Conditions- Closets by Design does not paint or repair walls. Closets by Design is not responsible for damage to walls, floors, or ceilings caused by demolition or tear out or your existing closets. Repair work on walls, plater, painting, floor finishing is the responsibility of the client. The contract also states, if you (client) want to patch and paint before installation, the required tear out and patching and painting must be done at least 48 hours before installation to ensure all surfaces are dry and ready (we did not due this, and Closets by Design did the removal of the previous rails). We just want the damaged repaired to a professional standard that they created. They should of not tried to repair the walls which created a bigger issue for repair. What should of been simple small holes that we could fill in with a color match fill left after instalation, now requires a full wall repair.

I had used this service before and had a good experience. This time was different. After 1.5 hours,…read moreI had trouble understanding where the organizer was going with her plan, so I tried to express my needs and what I was looking for. After discussing for a while, she just left, having made more of a mess than was there before. I am including the "after" photo. Update: I got an email from the CEO threatening me for this review. It's unfortunate that her employee was upset with our appointment too. I stopped her to understand what her plan was and explain my needs, so that we weren't wasting our time. I'm sorry that my feedback hurt her feelings. My harshest feedback to her was, "I understand your piles, but I don't see how they are helpful," and "there are a lot of piles here - at some point they become superfluous." I have nothing against her employee. She seemed like a nice person. But I didn't see that her method was meaningful, and her explanation was only "this is my training" so I continued to not understand her plan, and I pressed to find out more, because I genuinely wanted her help. I tried to explain that all I wanted was someone to sit with me and say "do you need to keep this?" But she told me that her way was to make a bunch of piles, leave for 30 min so I could decide what to get rid of by myself, and then come back and put the leftovers away. I told her that if she did that, I would just feel overwhelmed and probably not do anything. So she told me she couldn't help. As she got up to leave, I even said, "ok we can do it your way. I'll try to trust you. Please don't leave me with this mess." But she left anyway. I wasn't going to even write a review until I realized she had scattered my sentimental box in an unfixable way. When I realized that, I cried. I had told her I wanted to work together, but she had refused, and if we had worked together in the first place, she wouldn't have destroyed the one thing that really mattered to me. It was a bad day for all involved. The CEO says I am a "bully" for articulating my needs, but I don't think my expectations were unreasonable. I wanted to go thru things together, and have the organizer be gently present as I made decisions about letting go. The organizer wanted to sort things herself and have me make decisions alone. Those ideologies are fundamentally at odds, so maybe it's good she left early.

Second time, we went through boxes and boxes of stuff that we hadn't unpacked for 2 years. I ended up donating two Honda Civics full of stuff! Lily did such an amazing job of sorting through everything I had and then culling down what I didn't need. She sat with me and provided advice for how to sort sentimental things and when to get rid of superfluous things. Most recently, we tore through the rest of the house getting rid of anything that we could in preparation for a move to a new home. WHEW! I feel 10-times lighter and am budgeting for time #4 to help organize our new home. I'd be lost without these ladies!

He had to say goodbye to living in the only home he and my mother (who has passed), owned. Purchased in the early 1970s. Also the only physical location I knew as "home" growing up. Fast forward to present, a year later. The house still has not gone on the market due to life happening. With the birth of our first child, I found myself overwhelmed as I walked through my parents house. It was aging, and cluttered with 40+ years of memories and, well, clutter. Why all the backstory? Because anyone can come into a strangers home and throw things out, or donate them. But Linda came recommended for a reason. She walked into our home with a felt sense of honoring the memories that existed there. Everything she touched and inquired about was intentional, with purpose and respect. She engaged the memories with us and lent a firmly gentle hand on some items that were best to let go of, knowing it was hard to do so. The topper for me was how she engaged my father who wrestles with memory loss. She never responded to him with anything other that complete respect. As I drove dad from the house his response was: "She really is an outstanding woman, so professional, organized, and nice." I can not recommended Uncluttered and Linda enough. She made the overwhelming manageable.

I called and was contacted by Jessika on Monday, April 14, 2025, and we talked about my situation, (she was very nice) so then made an appointment for that Thurs. in the morning for a 2 hour assessment ( April 17, 2025.) Then I had to change it to later that afternoon, so it was for 3PM. Then She had to change it again (she didn't realize she "couldn't work until 5,") but said she would call me back that day to reschedule. No callback so I called that afternoon and left a message re: what new appointment time she and I could work out. I called her three times the next day, Friday April 18, leaving messages, and was concerned something might have happened, since no one was calling me back. No word. Weird. Waited all weekend to reconnect. I called again the following Monday, April 21, 2025, left several messages, but never heard back. Huh--Ghosted!!! I guess I must be pretty awful somehow, no matter what they claim to be able to handle and do, and regardless of how nice she, herself, was on the phone. I am disappointed with their lack of professionalism, and, having no experience with their actual services I cannot recommend them.

I was nervous to have someone going through my things, but she never made me feel self conscious or like I had to get rid of something that held sentimental value. The results have been life-changing - sounds dramatic, but my stress level has decreased significantly now that things are out of the way and organized. And I love knowing that she's around to help me whip stuff into shape for a party or houseguest - she is a gem!
