Thanks to my buying a Fossil watch online that didn't quite fit, I called the Fossil store closest to where I live (Camarillo) to ask about adding a link or two. They told me there's an onsite watch technician at this Camarillo outlet, so I went there to have the links added. Lo and behold, I walked into this amazing store, actually TWO stores, filled with a plethora of watches. One store is all things Fossil, so that includes much more than watches, too, like handbags, wallets, other jewelry. Honestly, I didn't even pay attention to much else because I was focused on getting the watch links added. The young man assisting me was very nice and accommodating. He knew exactly what to do and added the watch links in just a couple of minutes. He even asked if I wanted free engraving. I declined it, but I certainly appreciated that he asked. He simply didn't have to. I then engaged in another conversation with one of the female salespersons, who had walked over to me to discuss the Fossil watch. I was impressed with how she immediately and correctly identified it by the specific name that Fossil had assigned it ("Raquel"), and she and I began discussing it. One thing led to another, and she mentioned how it looked just a Michele watch. We then embarked on a Michele discussion because I happen to LOVE those watches... just can't afford them. Then she said the magic words... they OFTEN have sales on Michele watches... BIG sales. Like 60% off. Sometimes more. WHAAAAAAAT ???? Then she dragged me into another store, which anyone could get to from inside of Fossil..... called Watch Station International. In there is every OTHER watch known to mankind... well, no, that's not true, but many brands are certainly there, and MICHELE happens to be ONE of them. I can't envision why I would need to make another trip to Fossil since I just bought a watch, but I can assure you that my brain is working overtime trying to figure out a reason for me to do so... legitimately, that is. I walked in to a smiling Lisa who greeting me immediately and made me feel like I had just walked into my aunt's home in rural India. She helped me remove some links off the chain and handled the watch my wife bought me for our wedding day with the utmost care. I needed the battery changed so she handed it off to Alex who helped me change the battery at a very reasonable price! My boyfriend visited on March 21st and was unfortunately helped by an extremely prejudiced man. He felt belittled--and I don't doubt it--considering he was asked, "Are you lost?" The man then told him to "stand by the door" and wait until he was ready to assist him. Thankfully, a kind woman eventually approached and helped him instead. But it didn't end there. The same man later said, in a passive-aggressive tone, "Do you want to change the straps? They look old and worn out." @Management -- I truly hope you invest in properly training your employees to treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Came here for a watch battery replacement as I have twice in the past. The cost went up from $10 to now $21 with tax, but it's worth it. When I entered I was promptly and professionally greeted. The battery replacement was done in just a couple minutes and the time was set on the watch when I picked it up at the register. I was informed that I have a 1 year warranty on the battery. I was on the hunt for a new bag yesterday. I was so determined so it was going to happen. IT. WAS. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. And, it did happen. :) I used to be a Dooney girl, but as I've matured surprisingly I have found my way back to Fossil time and time again. I suppose if it's not broken there is NO need to fix it. The handful of times I've come here the staff have been amazing and very helpful. Not in the sickly way, where they yell across their store, "HI. WELCOME." I haaaaaaaaaate that. But, I mean genuinely friendly and you can tell that they really love their Fossil and their store and their products. I headed towards the clearance and after much humming and hawing by me, I bought a Caribbean blue Sydney Satchel for 59 dollars! 59 dollars! Did you read that correctly? Unbelievable. So, as I love Fossil I also love Sydney and this purchase will be my 4th Sydney. Two satchels and two shoppers. I've always loved Fossil as a brand and have numerous products from the regular and outlet stores but my experience this past weekend was a disappointment. I haven't been back to this outlet in 2 years but was really disappointed by the service. I walked in with my husband and we were greeted upon entering. However no one came to help me during the entire time I were in the store. The store is split down the middle between men's (left side) and women's handbags (right side). I was browsing at the women's items for a decent amount of time but occasionally would cross over to the men's side bc my husband was interested in a men's messenger bag. Associates came up to him over 5 times to the point it annoyed him and us when I was present bc I was jumping between sections but whenever I kept visiting the women's side not one associate came up to me to see if I needed help. Most regular and outlet Fossil locations have really helpful staff but this was just silly the way the associates were acting. There were at least 5 people working with almost no customers in the store. Idk if they were profiling but it didn't make me want buy anything so we both left without purchasing. It was definitely disappointing and it doesn't leave me feeling good about the brand/store. read more

My sister is visiting from out of town and loved my handbag so I brought her to the store. I am never disappointed! The store is beautifully laid out with a wide selection of handbags, backpacks, purses, watches and more at very reasonable prices. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Today I showed Natalie the strap on my purse which had frayed due to my own carelessness. Wow. I wish I knew about this location a few months ago! I had purchased a watch from Fossil only to find it at this location at 50% off! As were all of their watches! I could've saved a bundle had I just waited! Inventory at this location is great. I heard from other locations that they were phasing out some of their clothing, but this location was full of them! They had just about every item Fossil sells out on the floor all at great prices. As with all Fossil stores, the employees were very friendly and ready to help. Only issue is that I often couldn't tell who was an employee and who was a customer since their dress code isn't anything that'd have them stand out from the customers. read more

Fossil products sell themselves and the Fossile Outlet store in Camarillo has a lot to offer. They have a large selection of watches, bags, purses, and clothing. Their leather goods are excellent and I'm surprised by the selection of clothing and will consider them next time I'm in the market for shirts and jeans. I've had a Fossil Blue watch since 2003 that I still wear almost daily. They are rugged and mine has lasted through a lot of wear and tear. The leather straps are just starting to go and there's some scratches. So it's time to get a new one but I'm picky with the design so I'm waiting for that right one to appear. read more

Very disappointed in their customer service. My husband and I bought 2 watches from the yesterday and when we got home we noticed that one does not work even though the sales person said it did before we left and she packed it inside the box. It seems the battery is dead and the only way to get the "GUARANTEE" of the battery replacement from them is to bring it back to them. We live over 50 miles from them and will cost me more in gas to go back to them and then back to our house again then it would be to buy a battery near my home. The watch was $85. The manager would not even send me a battery. You think they would have better customer service than this. Very disappointed. read more

So, I brought my family from out of town to the Camarillo Outlets and they loved it! We came inside the Fossil store and my male cousin was really excited about the store! The store was actually 60% off and they had the Fossil watch that my cousin had been looking for! Normally, the watch was about $140! I actually had an additional coupon as well so his watch came out to $45! With this price, he was able to afford to purchase 2 watches instead of one! I'd like to personally thank Julia for being such an awesome employee! She was very patient and informative with my cousin who had questions regarding his watch and the warranty. This location was surprisingly much larger than most Fossil stores in shopping malls. Since it is an outlet store, I suppose their prices are generally cheaper too. I actually had the opposite of some people's customer service stories here. I've purchased two bags from this store in the past few months and different salespeople have been incredibly attentive and friendly (without hovering, which is a pet peeve of mine!) One of the bags I got was literally three times less than the cheapest price I can find online for it right now, which is an excellent bargain. And it wasn't made for the outlet, which makes me feel like I got a genuine deal. The selection of watches and jewelry seems okay, but to be honest that isn't what I was shopping for so I can't comment on whether or not there's actually any deals to be had there. The only reason I come to these outlets are for the Fossil, Uggs, and Gap! The Fossil store is awesome pretty good deals and a wonderfully attentive helpful staff. I specifically came in to replace my dooney and bourke wallet and cosmetic case, despite the name the pair only lasted about a year before starting to fall apart, but hey that's another review. I have several fossil bags that have lasted and aged so well I decided to purchase a wallet and cos case, I asked one of the girls to point me in the direction of the accessories and she went above and beyond she pulled some wallets and matching cases, she saw me and picked perfectly for my personal taste (she was like a personal shopper) she then showed me a few pairs of earrings she thought I might like, they had wonderful service. I purchased a wallet, three cosmetic cases, a bag, and two bracelets and at outlet prices it came to $201.51 if I had of paid reg price I would have been out of $350+! Nancy the associate gave us the worst customer service ever. My friend spent $1,200 for 20 pieces watches but gave her one big shopping bag and 1 small bag. We asked for more bags but she said "NO" because store policy. What kind of store policy that cant provide bag for a customer that purchased alot of stuff! Nancy should change her job. Literally, this place is amazing! I've gotten some of the best deals of my life here! I'm what you would call a bargain shopper so when I spot an amazing item for an amazing price I buy it! I've gotten handbags in here for $40 or less, interchangeable watch bands usually $25 in retail stores for $4 here and recently a 100% silk blouse originally$150+ for $10!! Awesome customer service and customer care by the people that work here. They went above and beyond to make our tad complicated transaction work. The manager had to find a way to make our coupon code work which the other fossil watch stores did not even bother to do to begin with.
