Italian sandals restored to mint condition

Julio is absolutely amazing at repairing shoes and boots. He will make your shoes and boots look brand new. I bought a pair of leather sandals in Italy that were all worn out, and Julio completely restored the leather sandals and made them look brand new. I highly recommend this business. I also enjoyed speak Spanish with Julio because I am a Spanish teacher.

I have used them since the work was completed. The soles were pristine when I picked them up.

I took my Danner Acadias in for a re-sole. Took 5 days. The soles were replaced with authentic Vibram soles in the original pattern. The boots were better than new because the leather boot was already broken in. The sole is stiff again (it's brand new so of course it is) but the cushion has been restored which is very nice. The shop even shined the boots up for me (not mirror polished but good enough for patrol), so I could use them straight away. Total repair cost $100. Considering they are 3 years old and cost almost $400 new, I will take it. The less expensive sneaker style boots just don't hold up like these boots. This shop did a great job in a timely manner. All I could ask for. Will be back for the next re-sole...in 3 years.

Timberland full grain leather. I am humbled by the fit and quality of my newly purchased boots.

AAA+++ I have passed by this shop many times in the course of the last 5 years. Fortunate for me to finally discover this shop, yet another of the "Hidden In Plain Sight" (HIPS) exemplary establishments within the Thousand Oaks Communit. I do not exaggerate at all when I express the sum of my thought and comments regarding "Wildwood Boots", when speaking in regards to work boots or simply durable quality footwear for the rigorous unknowns our feet might encounter. In a 100 mile radius (or more) "They Are The Best" considering so many other shops which offer a fragmented presentation of products. I was greatly, greatly, greatly (yes im saying it three times because i mean it) impressed by the footwear companies they choose to stock as well as the poignant straightforward display methodology. They deserve al my compliments. And Doug was quite helpful, my interaction with him catalyzed my decision to make a purchase and inspired me to provide this review for our community.

I was so happy to get extra holes in my Birkenstock's and also left a pair to get re-soled. Great staff.

Amy is beyond helpful and AMAZING every single time we shop at this store! We purposely go to this…read morestore in person instead of ordering online because we KNOW we are going to get exceptional service from Amy! Thank you so much for making every visit a remarkable one!!! Mahalo!!!

My fiancé and I visited the Famous Footwear location in Moorpark CA last night expecting a normal,…read morepleasant shopping experience, but left feeling completely shaken. While trying on a pair of boots, I briefly sat on a ladder that had been left out on the sales floor. Within seconds, an employee named Alexis (brown Nike sweater) rushed over and, in an aggressive tone, demanded that I "get off the ladder right now." I immediately acknowledged her and began complying, but I needed a moment to put my shoe back on. Despite this, she continued repeating, in a raised and hostile voice, that I needed to get off "right now," not allowing me even a second to finish putting my shoe on. I asked why I was being spoken to that way while actively complying, but the tone never changed. At one point, she stated she was "not going to get in trouble for this." Once I stood up, she forcefully pushed the ladder toward the back of the store in a visibly frustrated manner, murmuring curse words under her breath and even running into an aisle. This entire interaction happened in front of other customers, including a family. I asked for her name and to speak with a manager, but was told no manager was present and to go to the cashier. By the time I got to the front, I was visibly shaking and trying to hold back tears because I couldn't believe how I had just been spoken to. The cashier (glasses lady) initially seemed somewhat understanding and told me I could contact the store manager (Humberto) the next day. However, when my fiancé went back in to ask for a customer service number to file a formal complaint, her demeanor completely changed. She became dismissive, said "there are two sides to the story," and refused to provide any additional help or explanation. At that point, it felt like we were being treated as if we were lying or had done something wrong. I fully understand safety concerns and would have had absolutely no issue moving if I had been approached in a calm and respectful way. A simple, "Hey, I'm sorry, we can't have customers sit on the ladder, but you're welcome to use the seating area," would have resolved this immediately. Instead, the situation was handled with hostility from the start and escalated unnecessarily, leaving me so upset that I left the store in tears. This kind of behavior is not acceptable, and no customer should be treated this way over something so minor.
