The food was great. The service was not…read more The pizza here is genuinely delicious and would easily earn four stars on its own. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by some of the most off-putting service I've encountered at a restaurant. Our waitress was curt and dismissive from the start and at one point walked away mid-sentence while we were still speaking to her. But the moment that truly caught me off guard: she got locked out of the restaurant and, when I -- a customer -- walked over to open the door for her, she mouthed "hurry up" at me through the glass. No thank you. No acknowledgment whatsoever. I understand that working in the service industry is hard, and everyone has bad days. But there's a baseline of courtesy that's reasonable to expect, and this fell well below it.

High quality items, large variety, with a very pleasing ambience and set up. I felt like I was underdressed. Lol. I'm joking, but it was classy looking liquor store. The name Liquor King fits. Looks like a place a King and Queen would purchase their Libations. Tehe! They had a cigar room and a Fine wine room. The associate I spoke with was polite and friendly. I'd like to go back and take my time to look around, because it was close to closing. I feel like I might need a tour guide to tell me about the brands and their origins. Lots of brands and items that looked interesting, but were new to me. I need a couple tasting experiences here. Definitely recommend 10 of 10 for you to stop in. Thank me later..

But--I'm a Yelper, and I must give the people unbiased reviews! I should have known that going to a liquor store on Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth was my first bad decision. But, I am not from Fort Worth, and I needed some champagne to celebrate the weekend away in Fort Worth with my boyfriend. When we arrived, the parking lot was empty except for one loan car. That entire stretch of Lancaster Avenue was also pretty dead, so I should've seen that as a bad sign. When we walked in to the store, we were greeted by the following: kitty litter boxes, dog kennels, and dusty bottles. Again, you would think I would learn my lesson, but I am known to be stubborn, and I am known to always finish what I start. We went ahead and began to make our rather "routine" selection: two bottles of Andre champagne, orange juice, and two sugarfree Red Bulls. When we were checking out, the lady behind the cash register was extremely courteous and sweet. But looking around the store, it was in complete disarray. There were animal kennels and crates everywhere, and a very, very limited alcohol selection. Almost every single bottle had dust on it, and the refrigerated coolers were not refrigerated; they had mold and dust growing on some of the items. Let me finish this one star review by saying that once we returned to our hotel room, we realized that the Red Bulls were three years out of date, and the orange juice was completely molded and bad on the inside of the juice. I will never return to this part of Fort Worth nor to Crow's liquor store.

Everyone was friendly, and the store was clean and well stocked. The class, "Vive La France," featured wines all from French regions, and the price was reasonable for what you get. The only thing that would have made this a better experience is the airflow in the classroom...it needs a fan or something. It was so hot and stuffy. Despite the stuffy room, I'd recommend it for anyone curious about wine pairing!
