Juneteenth came, and with it, another day spent staring longingly at your darkened windows. I don't imagine you'll ever read this letter, but my heart insists that I write it anyway. Ronnie's... oh, Ronnie's. I was beginning to believe again. I had visions of smoky barbecue, tender pulled pork, and the comfort only your food could bring. But every time I arrived these past months, I was met not with the smell of hickory smoke, but with locked doors and silent parking lots. My hope faded a little more with each visit. When your lights are on, the world feels right. But when I pull into the parking lot and find another "Closed" sign staring back at me, I realize that ours is a love destined to be tested by unfortunate timing. Perhaps fate simply refuses to let us be together. Perhaps I am forever cursed to crave what I cannot have. You've broken my heart more times than I care to admit. And yet, somehow, I know that if I saw your "Open" sign tomorrow, I would come running back without hesitation. Such is the burden of loving great barbecue. She' had many gluten-free pizzas, and admittedly it is difficult to make a good gluten-free pizza crust and it is great that they at least offer this option. She wouldn't get this one again though. She was happy with the toppings, just not the crust. We had a good experience overall, and other than the gluten-free crust the pizza was good.
