Located by the bridge of Accademia with an amazing view, overlooking the canal with the water buses and taxis passing by. The foods are over-priced, which I understand because it is a very touristy restaurant. Well Venice is touristy to begin with, and I don't mind paying a lot for food because, when can I ever get another chance to indulge on Italian food, in Venice with an incredible view?!
I went to Foscarini just after I visited Peggy Guggenheim, which is just 5 minutes away as it is also located in Accademia. I ordered 2 pizzas, which were margharita and something similar with wurstel sausages. Both were delicious! They were thin pizzas with a very rich taste - a strong taste of buttery melted mozzarella which I love. I finished the whole pizza! Anyone could so if you're alone, order a whole pizza.
