Just had drinks here. Bartenders were sarcastically friendly and we loved it. I need 85 characters to finish this review

Great place to come when you want a good burger! It has super friendly staff and a fun vibe, and it is just an all-around good place to hang out and eat some delicious food. I wondered if I would go after reading some negative reviews about the beef, but I'm really glad I did. I don't know what that was all about, but again, the burger was great. I'm from LA, so we know good burgers!

In Italy you can get pasta and pizza anywhere but to get a great burger! It's hard to find and this is the spot!!! The burger and fries were amazing!! The service was great as well! Friendly and welcoming! I will definitively be returning!!

Love it!!! This place is the best! Eduardo was at the bar and was AMAZING!! Loved my Sex on the Beach drinks and I have to say ... the BEST FRENCH FRIES I've ever had in the world!!! Make sure to order!! Highly recommend this place if you're in Venice ... ask for Eduardo!

Looking for a great place to have a few drinks within walking distance of the Air bnb and wasn't disapointed by this place. Was able to score a small table for two and enjoyed a few beers and jack n cokes along with some people watching it was a good time. Agree with other reviews this place seems like a locals place a lil bit and I must say that this confirms t the theory of the best places to visit is where the locals go! IF we were to return to the immediate area this would warrant another stop in.

Drinks and prices aren't bad, but they've played, I kid you not, 20 Hollywood Undead songs and it feels like I'm literally in hell.

Good Irish pub in Venice. Might have too good of a time and walking back was a fun challenge. Would go again.

(You would've thought USA vs Italy would've attracted more local attention.) SL was a tiny place, but thankfully mostly empty; we plopped ourselves down and ordered some cold beers (pilsner for me, it being a hot afternoon). They had a decent beer list here - several standard styles from the British isles. I noted they also had some locally made brews (I didn't try them) plus Guinness (a necessity for such a place). The vibe wasn't very Irish beyond the decor and dark interior. The bartender was playing some euro pop on the sound system. Snacks were offered - mostly bread rolls, small sandwiches, and cuts off some oblong pizzas. We sampled a few of the latter to go with our beers. (They were OK.) As for the volleyball, the USA got spanked. Thankfully no celebration from the other side; most of the other patrons were either Americans or Brits. And the Italian bartender didn't seem to care. It's not clear why so many previous patrons have awarded a full 5 stars for SL. (Vacation glee?) For us it met a basic need but was priced high for tourists. I'll give them three stars, plus one extra for offering the game.

Plenty of table outside to watch the world go by - mostly pretty full, but there are always some guests coming and going. A quick wait does the trick. Got a good table and ordered our Cicchetti inside. They do table service here, so you won't carry your Cicchetti out on your own. A nice little service, not even coperto is charged. Despite being a very busy place, the waiting staff does a great job. Got some cicchetti with sardines, radicchio, bacalau/cream, bacalau with sour onions and raisins and also shrimp with sour onions and raisins. The latter two sound adventerous, but were excellent. A fantastic combination of flavors. Sweet and sour. All cicchetti were really tasty, nice combinations, very creative. Ingredients of high quality. The white wine went well with them. Had also some meatballs with. Decent, but not great. But the cicchetti definitely were. Prices are fair as well. Surely must-visit if you're into cicchetti (and wine). Nice place, nice setting. Surely we'll be back.

I got the codfish, octopus, squid, and ham cicchettis - all of which were delicious! The codfish was a classic, and a classic done so well. It was so creamy and smooth but flavorful without being too fishy either - loved it! The octopus was served on top of some hummus and was interesting, while the ham one was a classic. The squid was really good too, as it was warm and cooked in a tomato sauce - so flavorful! We really enjoyed sampling a variety of them and I can definitely see the appeal of these in Venice!
