What isn't fair is that fact that when I asked for a senior stylist I was told that they would book it for me but would not guarantee that it would be them doing it on the day as it could be a junior it would all depend on the day seem you are penalised for being a Groupon client. I thought the idea was that you used the Groupon to bring in more clients not put them off !!! Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't know anyone in London to give me a recommendation so I researched salons looking for one that uses the Davines Product line because that was the last color used on my hair and I had the dye numbers. I also needed a salon I could reach using public transportation. The Bohemians Salon uses Davines exclusively and is just a block off the Deptford Bridge DLR stop. Voila! the perfect solution. The Bohemians website has an online appointment scheduler which I used to make appointments for myself and my husband for the same day. The scheduler worked very well and we received appointment confirmations within a few minutes. My appointment was with Lucca, who worked a major miracle on my fine, wavy, color-treated hair which was so dry, brassy and in generally poor condition that I believed I needed to cut several inches. Lucca is a talented technician and I felt comfortable that my hair was in great hands right from the start. Lucca asked me a few questions about the services I wanted and then laid out a plan to accomplish my wants. I have never felt as happy walking out of a salon as I did after Lucca completed my hair services. I loved having fresh color and losing the ragged ends but I really was completely thrilled with the finished style which had more volume, shine, and bounce than I imagined was possible. That's the professional thing to do IMHO. What I actually got was wincing 'yuck' expressions from my stylist as she pulled on my hair (we can see you in the mirror you know). I was then asked 'do I brush it?' and I did not need to be told that there was probably not much they could do for me. I went to the sinks feeling like a lost cause! Most of all though, I definitely did not need the assistant asking me cheerily So! Do you like your frizz? What sort of a daft question is that? Sarah then cut and styled my hair She was very chatty, very nice and wasn't the standard barber shop chatter which was a nice change to have in London. You definitely notice the difference with the type of haircuts, the look is so much better then what it was. I have read some of the reviews below and can't believe what has been said. At this point I just walked away, they obviously didn't want my business. I understand I'm a walk-in so can't get preferential treatment over their customers with an appointment, and I get that I have no idea of how busy they are. But he already told me there might be an opening after a certain time and didn't bother to check who was free, thus not allowing my any services. This is at 9am, he literally just opened the doors to the shop, and no other customers were there. If you're fully booked, just say you're fully booked. I can understand that. Again, I can't attest to how they do hair as I wasn't even given the opportunity to even get my foot through the door. One star for the bad service by the front desk. I know this doesn't change much for their regular customers, but hopefully new customers can bring their business some where they are wanted.
