Hair Rehab has replaced a badly lit salon that I never went to for this reason and has been transformed into a lux palace that will sort out any hair dilemma or style overhaul. I took my boob length blonde (ish) locks there and hoped for a new lease of hair life...I hadn't had my roots done for a year, yes a year...I was not laughed at but treated kindly by the lovely salon owner and senior most stylist/colourist...she gave me wine. Actual wine, in a glass and listened and showed me lots of colour options and helped my hair come back to its Californian girl look. She curled my looks as well at the end too. Loved. Good selection of mags, a waiting room that screams boutique and fabness and lots of lovely add ons, like massive TV, cool tunes, a nail bar, candles, sweets....basically heaven. My hair is long and thick and took ages to foil up and I never once heard a moan. Before Ive had right bitchy hairdressers who have made me feel like crap. I have never come across such an unprofessional senior manager - Steve claims to be an asset to the company but really is an arrogant nasty person. He is that awful that I have even overheard salon staff speak badly of him. The salon management refuse to rectify issues and basically tell you not to come back. Fine, I would rather pay to have it sorted elsewhere than spend another penny in a poorly run salon where staff turnover is a clear issue. Ask yourself why Steve, the answer is your horrible management style. I honestly think this man needs a lesson in how to speak to people and get over himself.

At the end she brushed my hair with such force and so quickly it actually hurt!! Even the hairdryer was too hot so it hurt too! The whole experience of getting your hair cut was horrible. She did not know what she was doing and was so unkind during the process. She looked like she does not want to be there at all. I asked for a simple haircut, and she did it so horribly that I will probably have to go to another hairdresser to fix it up. My hair is sticking out in some places and has no shape, all I wanted was a long bob, shouldn't be too hard to do! She was rushing, the whole washing, cutting & drying took her about 20 minutes. Totally unacceptable and I will never visit again. It is not worth the money.
