The food is actually better than the one I had at the Citizen in downtown and also slightly cheaper too. I ordered the customized Omelette. Make sure you bring your wallet with you because they don't have Apple pay

Their Old Fashion cocktails are spot on! Fabulous drinks, great food, excellent ambiance. Located inside the Marriott they have a great pool side seating area and lovely decor in the general restaurant areas.

Not going to lie.. I really wasn't surprised at all. I read some of the reviews and they are pretty accurate with what they say. My gf and I came here for Valentine's Day. 5 course meal for $58 per person. Which to be honest is not bad at all. As we arrived the host greeted us. Every monotone and sounded like she hated her job. Anyways we sat down and had a chance to look over the menu. Our waiter didn't really know the menu. I believe he was new so we cut him some slack. Our first course came out. 1. Amuse Bouche. Which was a crouton with bacon jam on top. Literally a one bite thing so I understood that. 2. Buratta Confit with asparagus. Also very small dish but they put it on a cool plate so I guess that's ok?? So far not impressed at all. 3. Ricotta ravioli. And guys it was 1 ravioli.. just one. This whole time literally made me feel like we were at a tasting and not a 5 course dinner. 4. New York steak. Literally like a 4 ounce steak. With a beat sauce that looked like açaí. I'm glad they got the temperature correct. But again literally a 4 bite steak. 5. Dessert which I'm not even going to get into. Just not worth mentioning. Overall the "5 course menu" was more of a tasting then a dinner. Very sad and overrated. Especially for a Valentines dinner. Waste of money and time. Definitely other places out there to go eat.

All in all food was good, pasta was a bit too oily for me. Pizza and meatballs were really good. The cocktail was also good not the best one i tried. All in all we liked it here.

A summer evening having a solo dinner sitting by the pool. Reading a James Patterson book attempting to figure out "who done it". The wait staff is on point aka very attentive. I will return due to the ambiance, quality of service and the delish dinner!

The perfect one! Is truly the perfect BLT. One of the best hotel meals I've had in quite some time.

    "Grilled" Chicken Caesar Salad

I never expect much from a hotel restaurant, but I'd at-least expect something edible. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. It was cold, not seasoned, and not a grill mark in sight. I understand it's during covid times and we have to be patient but when I did ask if it was actually grilled chicken I was told yea, it could have been grilled yesterday. If that's the case on them making a meal that consists of lettuce, cheese, and chicken, I can only imagine what they do to prepaid their pasta dishes and burgers, MICROWAVE? Sometimes it's worth staying in your room and just ordering delivery. 1/5 for service as well

I'm very impressed by Formaggio at the Marriott. I had the power lunch which is steak with chimmichuri on it, a small salad and some minestrone soup. Fries also came with it followed by a rootbeer float. I was talking to someone so you'll have to imagine all that since I ate it instead of taking a picture of it first. All served well by Shy, our waitress. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, all in all, fantastic. You just can't go wrong with the Marriotts in Sacramento. I really need to stay at one of them to round out my experience with them. Does a puppy come with the room? because it's going to really take some doing to top what they've done so far!

I was on the hunt for a new gluten-free pizza spot to try on my way home after some appointments…read moreand came across Milan Pizza in Rancho Cordova through Yelp. The reviews looked solid, and since it's close to my neighborhood, I figured I'd give it a try. I used the Yelp link to order directly through their website and placed an order for a medium gluten-free Hot Honey pizza and Parmesan tater tots with a side of ranch. They called me right away to confirm that I meant to order from the Rancho Cordova location, which I appreciated. They told me it would be ready in about 15-19 minutes, and since I was only about 25 minutes out, the timing worked fine. When I arrived, the place wasn't busy at all--no customers inside--which made pickup quick and easy. The staff greeted me promptly and brought out my food right away. The order looked good, but I was surprised (and honestly disappointed) that everything was lukewarm at best. It didn't seem to be kept under a heat lamp or warming area, and considering I picked it up within the timeframe they quoted, I expected it to be hot. I was tired and ready to get home, so I didn't bother addressing it there. The Parmesan tater tots were basic--not much to rave about. The Parmesan tasted more like the shaker-style cheese rather than freshly grated, so I probably wouldn't order them again, though the portion size was decent if you want leftovers. The pizza itself, though, was the highlight. The crust was thin and crunchy, and the gluten-free base was actually impressive. I really liked the flavor combo--the hot honey with the pepperoni, cheese, and meats worked well, and it definitely hit the spot despite not being hot. I also appreciate that they offer both medium and large gluten-free pizzas, which is rare. Overall, I'd come back for the pizza, no question. Next time, I'll probably either order closer to pickup time or wait to place the order until I'm nearby to make sure it's served hot. The flavor and gluten-free quality were great--it was just the temperature that missed the mark this time.

And that's what Fusion Bistro does - decent enough strip mall food. A few small tables and a basketball game on the overhead tv all make for a place that is primed for takeout. In my experience over the last several months, service has run the gamut from very friendly to clearly and outwardly frustrated. Placing a call is a roll of the dice, but the average comes out to be right in the middle. The butter naan is SUPER buttery and the samosas are sadly a miss. The tikka masala is more onion-forward, while the butter chicken sauce is standard as far as flavor goes. The problem here is that the protein portions are very light (are you taking Ozempic and worried about having too many leftovers? Don't stress - you'll finish all 8 bites of chicken, no problem) so the value isn't quite there considering the price point. The leftover sauce on its own will make for some tasty nachos, though, if you're feeling extra fusion-y.

The salad was nice with many fresh toppings to add to the crispy romaine. For my $15, I had 3 slices of pizza from a medium pizza and a nice salad with a drink. That's probably about average for lunch these days. I am just sorry to see that local small business owners are suffering because the economy is pinching EVERYONE's purse and it's getting less affordable to eat out.

So right when the party started, we ordered a large combination pizza, which costed $33. I also added a tip on top of that. Additionally, we ordered drinks as well. When my wife went to fill up her cup, there was a sign on the machine saying that customers had to ask for ice. Weird. So the party went on, and everyone had fun. And in the mean time, we waited...and waited...and waited...and waited for our pizza. We kinda lost track of time at one point, but then realized that our "order 9" table marker had been sitting there for quite a while. At this point, we had waited a full hour for our food. My wife inquired about the whereabouts of our pizza. The employee said that our ticket number had fallen on the floor, so they lost our order. Even still, we were sitting right in front of the register. They called out orders 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, etc. The whole time you didn't notice that the order 9 marker was still out on the table?! So at this point, we just took the pizza to go. Thank God we ate beforehand. The lady gave us a liter of soda for free, which was nice of her, but it still didn't make it right. As for the pizza? It was ok. Nothing special. We could have paid about the same price for better pizza elsewhere. I firmly believe there's really no such thing as bad pizza, but Steve's seemed pretty basic, especially for that price. Go 4 Pizza on sunrise costs about the same, but the pizza is much better. Even still, all the kids had fun, so I guess that's all that really matters. Overall, there's better options in the area. I'd recommend you check them out before settling on Steve's.

First of all, I tried the samosas, as they were doing a BOGO. I called ahead to ask if the samosas were spicy, and the lady said "medium". They were extremely good. I could definitely taste the Indian spices, and they were not greasy at all. It's the kind of spice that you notice just as you are finishing it up. It's like "oh, there it is..." They were a bit spicy, but not too much. Just enough to put a tiny bit of a sweat on my forehead, which I liked. They came with a dipping sauce, which was basically a chili sauce. I tried it, but with one taste, I could definitely tell that the sauce was too spicy for me. The achari chicken pizza was also extremely good. I had them leave off the jalapeños, and this one had just a tiny bit of a spice to it. Just enough that I noticed it. The crust had a good "chew" to it The sauce was creamy, the chicken was tender and delicious, and the onions and cilantro provided a nice little "pop" of freshness. An excellent pizza. Because there were four Samosa's instead of two, I got two servings out of them. However, that pizza was so darn good, I ended up eating the whole thing. Thank goodness it was a small.... Even without the BOGO, the prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely order from this place again. Thank you!

The place is clean, and the employees are engaging and very friendly. You can tell they enjoy doing what they are doing. It's a simple concept. Whether you want a pizza or a salad, you choose either the crust or the greens, then you choose what you want on or in it. All for the same price. Sometimes I will have a salad, today I decided to have a pizza. I had the regular crust, with the spicy tomato sauce. I did Gorgonzola and. Ricotta for my cheeses, for my meat, I did ham, pepperoni, and anchovies. I love the briny flavor of anchovies. I don't remember all of the veggies I picked, but I picked a bunch. I also had them do salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. The pizza came quick, And as always, it was delicious. I had asked if the spicy tomato sauce was very spicy, and she said, "not really.". It did have a bit of a kick, but well within what I like for spicy. All of the ingredients played very well together, and they were very generous with the ingredients. The creamy ricotta. Played well with the Gorgonzola as well. The price is reasonable, and they do offer a military/veterans discount. Normally, I take a couple of pieces home, but this was so good, I polished off the entire thing. I will be back. Thank you.

I am interested in the quality of the food and cost of the meal. I am willing to overlook tape on chair cushions, etc. If you've not given Straw Hat Pizza a try, I strongly suggest that you do so. Their pizza are made with press ingredients and lots of care. Check out their specials and give them a try.
