Have a pet go elsewhere. The pets are more friendly than management.

Very disappointed with management and their method of enforcing policies. I stayed here in a pet friendly park and was approached by management rudely about my small dog barking during daylight hours. This is a no frills RV park on a major highway with plenty of outside noise from traffic, kids playing and other pets. This was a working vacation, although it sates it has Wi-FI I was not able to connect after 8 pm. If you are looking for a pet friendly place to stay- go elsewhere, or at least beware, the pets here are more friendly than the owners.

We got lucky and got a spot last minute! The owner is fairly new and took over the facility and is doing an amazing job!! She called us right away after we left a voice message; not having a place to stay for our RV. She had a pull through site and we took it (30). It was very quiet and pretty. Had a couple horses on the other side of the fence which made it nice. My girls loved it. We did an evening outdoor workout and loved it! Also the showers were very clean. My hubby and I put the kids to bed and sat outside with our propane fire pit and played cards. Highly recommend!

Just a short drive to unbelievable. One of the many gems of the Pacific Northwest . (Ruby beach)

Great news! The cost to dump is now only $5. Great RV park, friendly staff, and easy to get in and out of.

Forks Sol Duc Campground - My simple set-up. I am a motorcycle camper.

This inexpensive no-frills campground has all the basics, and nothing more: tent and RV sites with…read morepicnic tables and fire pits, three porta potties that appeared to be well maintained, one dumpster, a really basic playground, and a station set-up with two tanks of potable water for the campers to use. A few things you should know: 1) Google Maps is not able to route you to the campground entrance. Use the coordinates provided in your email receipt. The driveway is easy to miss. 2) Keep the campground number handy. I got to what I thought was the camp and was unable to figure out how to check in. So I ended up calling the owner via the phone numbers listed on the small Forks Sol Duc Campground sign by where I had entered. Mitch then directed me to my spot over the phone, and I was able to set up camp. 3) There were no instructions on how to operate the two tanks full of potable water available to the residents. It would be more helpful if there was a sign on how to operate the water pumps. And by the time I had figured it out, the white tank was already out of water. I had lost patience with trying to figure out how to operate the blue tank. I texted the owner via the number he provided, and at least he was very responsive. Or they can at least include the water access instructions in the email receipt. 4) I don't think they have people cleaning up between campers. So you may end up dealing with the leave-behinds from the previous occupants. The previous campers left me alcohol and a small amount of lighter fluid that I never ended up using. 5) The camp sites are all very diverse, with some being more secluded than others. But most are pretty open. FYI you get a discount if you let them pick your site for you. I think that's it. If you are looking for an affordable, no-frills camping spot that will allow you to explore the rainforests and mountains of the western Olympic Peninsula, then this might be the place for you.

We would've preferred to be in a more secluded back in site, but no complaints. They have a nice laundry area and a nice game area in the central part of the park. The park is well maintained and staff are very flexible. The park let us store our motor home there for a few days in the overflow area for a nominal fee so that we could take the ferry over to Victoria to spend a few days. The park is less than a 15 minute drive to the ferry.

Everything at this park feels modernized and efficient. As an 18 year old Oregonian solo traveler car camping my way up to Canada, they were super accommodating and booked me a tent camping spot to save me some money! Having easy access to washers, dryers, full kitchen set up, and HOT showers was lovely and made this experience all the better. You do have to pay to do your laundry and for the showers, but laundry was like $2.50 a load and a nice hot shower was just $1. Totally worth it!! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Definitely coming back here at some point in my life!! Highly recommend!!
