As always, amazing! Second time attending. I looked forward to this visit. It was well worth it.

A nice neighborhood spot! The food was all good and the service was superb! I will be back!

Really cozy ambiance, good service, and food! My friend and I came here after walking around the neighborhood thrifting. We both loved the interior with their rattan chairs. The atmosphere was really calm and bright, and the staff were very polite! We shared the crab rangoon, the green curry and shrimp pad thai. Overall the food was good and I wonder if we weren't in such a rush if I could have updated the spice level.

BEST PAPAYA SALAD I'VE EVER HAD, 10/10. It was seasoned so perfectly; just the right amount of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy (it's not very spicy). I would return just for this alone. I also tried the gui chai tord, pan fried chive cakes, that tasted increasingly better the more I ate it. I loved how softly fried the outside was, but still soft and chewy (kind of like a mochi consistency) on the inside. 4.5/5 For my entree I ordered the pad thai with tofu and it was good but it might've been overshadowed by how amazing the papaya salad was. I think I would've liked this dish more if it was more tangy/sour and spicy. 3.5/5

I was looking for some lunch not too far from home and found this spot. I found street parking which wasn't hard because it was really in the day. I stopped by early afternoon and there were a few customers eating inside. I was surprised how big and beautiful the restaurant is inside. I ordered my lunch to go and had to wait about 10 minutes. I ordered the basil chicken lunch special that came with a small salad. I requested a mild spicy flavor and the food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely return to check out some other menu items. However, this time I would like to sit and enjoy the ambience inside.

Forever Thai: A Culinary Oasis in Williamsburg Forever Thai, nestled in the heart of East Williamsburg, is a culinary oasis that transports you to the vibrant streets of Thailand without leaving New York City. With its stunning modern decor and captivating lighted tree at its center, the restaurant creates an enchanting, intimate, inviting ambiance. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's design is a perfect blend of contemporary elegance and traditional Thai elements, creating a visually stunning space that is both stylish and comfortable. The lighted tree, a restaurant's centerpiece, adds a touch of magic and creates a unique dining experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Forever Thai and was immediately impressed by the quality of the food. I ordered the pad see ew with broccoli, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the broccoli was fresh and crisp, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The sauce was a delightful balance of sweet, salty, and savory, making every bite a culinary delight. What set Forever Thai apart from other Thai restaurants I've visited was the freshness and quality of the ingredients. It was clear that the chefs took great care in sourcing the best possible ingredients for their dishes. The flavors were authentic and vibrant, capturing the true essence of Thai cuisine. Beyond the food, the service at Forever Thai was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to recommend dishes based on my preferences and ensured that I had a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a truly exceptional Thai restaurant in Williamsburg, Forever Thai is a must-visit. With it's beautiful decor, delicious food, and impeccable service, it's a culinary gem that will leave you wanting more. Pics: were leftovers that I took home for dinner. I shall return!

I had been wanting to try out this spot in my neighborhood for some time. Finally went last night. The food was amazing. I had a Thai Iced tea and Pad Kee Mau. Food was delicious. Hubby had some appetizers that he also enjoyed. The taro puffs were ok, lacked a little flavor. Chicken wings were tasty but not deeply fried as described. Was looking for more of a crunchy skin. The spring rolls were good but he didn't enjoy the filling.

two friends suggested this thai restaurant & i'm happy AF they did! first the ambiance. very cozy, intimate vibes with beautifully white tiled floors & wooden accents including a gorgeous bar area (with purse hooks!). in the center of the restaurant is a floral tree which subtly enhances the atmosphere. lots of blue accents carried throughout the interior design & even in the dish ware! (love the attention to detail). we arrived, no res, only waited five minutes before we were seated. it was friday & pretty packed but the service was quick & efficient. (water glass stayed full!) on to the food! we ordered family style, starting with papaya salad sans nuts & YOWZA, i just kept on eating it! the combination of flavors really packs a punch to the tastebuds. absolute fire, that salad! i'd spin the block for that ALONE. we also ordered the wings (delish), panang curry with shrimp (PHENOMENAL with the jasmine rice), & the pad thai with tofu (wouldn't get again). we had the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was warm & gooey but i wasn't a fan of the fruity pebbles on the plate. last but NEVER least, the thai iced tea was perfection! (& not small either!) overall, great spot for a dinner date with friends or celebration dinner! i'd definitely return to try more of their menu!

What a great experience! A friend of mine was celebrating a birthday and we had other plans near by so I easily made a reservation at Forever Thai. WOW! I certainly wasn't expecting the quality and customer service I received for the affordable prices! The food was absolutely AMAZING! It reminded me of the fresh and delicious flavors I experienced in Thailand! I didn't want it to end but my tummy was busting at the seams! Our server was super attentive and gave us great recommendations. The restaurant is beautiful and they take special care in the details and it shows. Needless to say, I will be back and I'm telling everyone I know!

A cute restaurant in Bushwick we went on a Saturday evening around 7:30. We didn't have a reservation but decided to wait for a table vs eating at the bar. The wait was around 15 min for a booth. The hostess was polite as was all of the staff. We ordered the following Duck buns - just ok. The duck to bun ratio was light and would have liked it to be juicier Crab and Cream Cheese wontons - to be fair I'm not a fan of cream cheese in rolls/wontons etc. my friend wanted them. She enjoyed them. For me it was fine but not something I would order again. She would Tom kha Gai - soup with with the shrimp it was amazing Tom Yum Gai - soup with shrimp mushrooms and lemongrass . Enjoyable spicy tangy flavor. I would esp want this when sick Fried Branzino - amazing and glad we decided to share as we were stuffed from the apps Lychee cocktail- forgot the name but tasty

Order: - Pad See Ew (5/5) - Pad Kee Mau (4/5) - Peach Lemonade (4/5) Pros: - Great tasting Thai food - A lot of options to choose from, ranging from the classics to extravagant dishes - Quick and kind service. Our food came out very quickly - Cute aesthetics Cons: - Overpriced. The noodles/fried rice dishes start at about $15 and cost additional for premium meats Overall: Great tasting Thai food but a bit overpriced imo

Forever Thai was a quiet, lovely spot to have a meal. All of the food we got was flavorful but jot overpowering. The meats and noodles were cooked well but not to the point of falling apart. I'd love to come back again and try more food! Pad Kee Mau (with beef): The beef was tender and delicious. The noodles were soft and cooked well and the sauce stuck well. There was definitely sauce but it wasn't to the point where it made the rest of the dish mushy. Mas-sa-man Curry: This curry had a light spice that anyone should be able to handle. We got it with chicken and it was delightful. There was this aroma that came with it and you can taste it too. Definitely loved eating this with rice. Som Tum Thai (Spicy Papaya Salad): As the name suggests, there is a slight kick but you'll be okay with some water. The salad was tangy, spicy, and crunchy. My friends absolutely loved this. Duck Buns: This was basically peking duck but with fish sauce I think. It was good but it left me wanting more duck Service and Ambience: The staff here were kind and checked in on us regularly. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we got in at 5:30 PM but people definitely start coming in. The decor and spacing makes this a great spot for a date night too.

Well Forever Thai you were alright ! The service was great until we got a cranky waitress. I usually do the stare and ask you okay? That usually gets my point across. My family and I came here to celebrate my son's graduation success. To avoid any further trouble I started calling over the waiter instead of her. I think she got the point then. The food was delicious The drinks a 6 out of 10‍ The ambiance a solid 10 Maybe going for dinner would've been better than going for lunch. It wasn't packed so I don't get it. Any who- don't take my word for it, but try it and share your honest opinion. Yelper pinky promise me you'll share your thoughts?

I ordered the green curry with beef from the lunch menu. The curry is very watery but tasted really delicious. The beef with boiled texture and lots of peppers were in the sauce. It came with white rice and I loved it. The crispy tofu add on was good if you like tofu! The sweet peanut sauce went perfectly with the fluffy tofu. The beef pad see eww was one of the best I've ever had. From the texture of the noodles, to the sauce, to the veggies and beef. It's a must have here! Tom yum soup came in a huge tower and was perfect to share. We ever had some leftovers. Good amount of shrimp and veggies inside. Quick and attentive service! And the worker's little son helped her bring the check for fun. It was adorable

Lunch in Brooklyn during in-between meetings of my professional duties of a Wednesday afternoon…read moresummons Thai cuisine. Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodles), chicken $15.00 Stir-fried flat rice noodle, bamboo shoots, garlic, basil, fresh chili, onion, carrot, string bean, bell pepper, long hot chili The flat rice noodle quantity was sufficient, but minimal and there were too much onion, insufficient string bean, two paucity pieces of carrot. I dislike bamboo shoot which is not a standard ingredient for this particular entrée. I think the bamboo shoot tainted this entrée. I am a traditionalist conservative which bean sprouts is a good substitute variation for bamboo shoot vegetable including string bean. This entrée is my favorite default and as a caveat, if any Thai restaurant or cafe do not offer on their menu I refuse entry to patronize. This entrée enticed my interest and embedded the lunch meal menu for the reasonable price. I personally despise and do not consume spicy hot foods, but occasionally consume mild or very mild in the smallest measurement of the Scoville scale which I specifically requested, but received medium hot spicy. The waitress forewarned me the intense heat level on the Scoville scale as Thai cultural spicy with two or more bird's eye chilies for a high level of spiciness. The spiciness of chili peppers were, in my opinion, medium spicy. Despite the intense medium heat spiciness, the stir-fried noodles lacked flavor with, tender chicken, minimal vegetables, and Thai basil in a bland taste. I wish I chosen shrimp as the protein. Pad Kee Mao sustained my hunger pangs and ate my fill. When eating Thai intense heat spicy foods, I visualize to think of the TV segment "Niall Horan & James Corden Take On Hot Wings" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in March, 2020. High heat spicy foods! Thai ice tea, large $3.00 This was a delight and neutralized the heat spiciness because it contains milk. It was served chilled in a large highball glass. Samyan is a Thai cafe located in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NYC and accessible via MTA NYC Transit C local train at Clinton-Washington subway station. This cafe is a independently owned and operated, thankfully. The waitress did check-in with me during my meal for attentive customer service. The atmospheric conditions were a simple small dine-in cafe. There were many paintings, portraits hanging on their walls of white subway tiles. Gold metallic metal chopsticks and fork are provided. If utensils are gold then the interior cafe should contain these "gaudy" feature extensive gold elements, including gilded moldings and furniture. Peony rose are very simply and made pretty table centerpiece decorations. Takeout menu and business cards are available for grabs. I did received my sales receipt. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 18%, 20% and 22% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. I paid $23.00 in cash as the waitress' informative knowledge of the ingredients and preparation of the heat level on the Scoville scale.

First off the most delicious group of appetizers. I wished their potions size were more decent. It's pricey for what is offered. Since curries are my favorite I tired those entrees first. Love the masala and green. Like them so tried with different types of proteins. My only draw back to this place or gets too rowdy at times. Also the place is too small . Newsflash: Ugly Baby is back on its bullshit. Ugly Baby's…read moreconceit, if you can call it that, was that it was really, really spicy. Spicy food, in case you didn't know, connotes authenticity. Call it suffering for beauty, in a culinary wrapper. Ugly Baby took this S&M theater to its logical conclusion in all regards: tuck it in an inaccessible corner of South Brooklyn; use tiny chairs and brusquely inform diners they have an hour start to finish at their table. The more inconvenient it was, the better. I held my applause after my single visit to Ugly Baby, which closed amidst wails and lamentation last year from people who liked rough treatment. But something drew me back to this reincarnation, started by the same people. Maybe, I thought, they'd found a way to bring us that magnetic authenticity, and hold the ball gags and chain flails? The answer is no. I should have known from the name alone: another mysterious two-word phrase (both of whose words again end in -y) that sounds like it could be an overly literal translation of some ineffable Thai concept. I should have known when it opened in the same godforsaken corner of ... what is that? Gowanus? I should have known from the protracted negotiations for a suitable table that followed when my husband, mom and I arrived punctually for our 5:30 reservation and were primly informed we'd be squeezing onto a two top, then were refused an obviously empty three-top ("it's reserved"....oh you mean by a party of three with a reservation like us?), and then grudgingly seated at a four-top, half of which was literally in the kitchen. I should have known after being apprised that "you have one hour at the table." I should have known when there were no appetizers or desserts, and only two vegetarian entrees. This is the same thing as before. We're so back, baby. The mushroom curry, with its single fire emoj, was nowhere near the spiciest thing on the menu, but gosh was it still spicy. How do they make food with such complex flavors that's still hot enough to have emanated from the bowels of hell? It has to be one of the best curries I've had. It's a talent, special even, but it could easily coexist without Hungry Thirsty's other downsides. But I think all those inconveniences and discomforts are the point. They serve to reinforce the specialness of the special parts, counterintuitively increasing your mental investment in internally extolling Hungry Thirsty's virtues. They are to each element what spice is to food: it hurts, and you're proud that it hurts. It all adds up to the second coming of Ugly Baby, and why wouldn't it? Enough people liked being slapped around; maybe they felt like they deserved it. You know if that's you or not.

I enjoyed the food and the event so much that I've returned and told others to go as well. What I like the most is that Chiangmai's expansive menu showcases aspects of Thai cuisine that you're probably not getting at your neighborhood spot. Many items are Northern Thai style dishes. I'd never had Khao Soi before coming here and I was blown away. The chiangmai sausage is also delicious. The roasted duck curry boasts deep flavor while also maintaining the crispiest duck skin. For appetizers, we started with the crispy salmon belly bites and the moo ping. Frying salmon is risky, but the fattiness of the belly keeps it from drying out. The moo ping is nicely grilled and served with a sweet sauce. You just can't go wrong ordering meat on a stick. As an entree, I tried the Gaeng Awm Nur, a soup-like beef dish served with a side of sticky rice. Our server had been really nice and welcoming, so I felt ok asking how I should eat my meal. She advised that I make a ball of some sticky rice with my hand, mash it a bit, and then dip it into the soup. Thai food achievement unlocked! Now I know what to do next time I'm served sticky rice. There's so much on the menu it can be hard to choose. This is encouragement to go with someone else who enjoys food so you can choose things to share! You won't be disappointed and in fact may find that your regular Thai spots could step up their game in comparison.
