Also the Manager was so helpful and I can tell, she is a very organized person and she made sure everything is going perfect and she was smiling all the time. :) It was a beautiful october night, the ceremony took place on the bluffs by the vineyard. There is a big log house by the bluffs for wedding family, so they can have their own privacy before the ceremony. (Btw, walking in stilettos can be challenging since the area is all grassy and soil) After the ceremony, we walked to the 2 story barn to attend the cocktail, and had their complimentary hot apple cider, was delicious. Then we headed to upstairs to have wedding dinner and after party. This place can handle more than 100 people. Very neat and clean. Service was perfect.

I believe they only do this a few times a year; Avalon Hall is primarily an events venue. Avalon Hall is farm to table. Nathalie, the owner, built it a few years ago. She was going to go with a barn theme, but was inspired to use a medieval look after watching "Game of Thrones." Avalon Hall has elegant wood paneling, a few tapestries, a knight in armor standing in a corner, and a large fireplace. We were seated at a table next to the fireplace. White table cloths, votive candles, and more. The portions are good-sized. I'm a vegetarian and so my plates were different than my companion's. The appetizer was a flatbread with vegetables and balsamic. The bread tasted good and the vegetables were quite fresh. My main course was pasta with pesto and roasted vegetables. I was so pleased that the pasta was capellini or one nearly that thin. The vegetables couldn't have been yummier. They weren't overly roasted. My dessert of homemade vanilla ice cream and amarena cherries was perfect. I don't know when I've tasted better ice cream. Our server was kind and attentive but also left us alone enough. And I mean alone--we were the only people with a reservation that night! Really hoping to go back soon. Clarksville is only an hour or so from St. Louis. There was a huge back area for prep (of the wedding party). There are several bathrooms and all are single-stall, so I got more privacy than I was accustomed to from church and other venue weddings. Overall, very nice! The brick of the building looks good in the photos. It's such a short walk from the town square and a short drive from some green areas if you want different kinds of photos.
