Called for an apt at 2.30 . The said busy , cone at 5.30 for mani pedi. Consented . Arrived at 5.30 , salon full ,no nail therapist available . Waited for 20 mins. Now 5.50. Owner insisted I do both together . I like it done separately . The manicure is done poorly , if sitting on the pedi chair . The owner refused ! I insisted .. mani done on table in less than 10mins ! Technician eager to close shop at 6.30 ! Why have me come at 5.30 when closing is at 6.30? Everyone was hurried and in a mighty rush . I have been here several times . They seem eager to bring in as many clients as possible with NO REGARD for quality . The owner doesn't speak English , and grumpily sits at the front desk ready to collect payment Try another salon in Downtown Los Altos .. forever nails is NOT a place for quality or care . Save yourself a trip here .. read more

Hana does a wonderful job! Been going here for 6 years. The salon is clean, hygienic, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Professional, friendly, local merchants I patronize! Lately, I noticed that there is not a lot of reviews here but I come here with my son JJ every time. I normally call and make an appointment. I will call again after JJ is done with his swimming. Thank you! read more

I really like this salon. They're very nice, and polite. Sometimes when I get a gel manicure it lifts pretty quick, but otherwise I get pretty consistent nails. The establishment is very clean, I've been coming here for at least 4 years. Would reccomend! read more

I have been a client since the opening of Forever Nail Spa. While I get my nails done when I can. The manicures last at least two weeks and my pedicures last six weeks. The fees are very fair and I enjoy the pampering. read more

Forever Nail Spa - Pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Los Altos, California

Overall a really crappy experience. Rude staff and subpar manicure which took almost an hour and a half. She got gel all over my skin with a really uneven paint job. For being in such an upscale neighborhood I'm surprised at how bad this experience was. read more

An affordable nail bar compared to others in the same area. Pedicure chair has massage and comfy for smaller clients. The Vibe is friendly'

I had the best pedicure by Kim in a relaxing environment. She was meticulous and patient with me Highly recommended!

I came here to get a gel manicure. I asked for a simple design and was happy to pay for the extra cost but the lady told me it would take too long and only allowed me to do it on one finger. Long story short, it didn't matter because she made 2 of my nail beds bleed in the manicure process so I didn't get any polish because they were too bloody. She attempted to stop the bleeding with NAIL DIP POWDER, which is so unsanitary, even after I asked her to stop. I also had to pay $18 for this whole experience with no manicure at the end! Don't go. read more

I really like the girls at Forever Nails. I think they do a great job and the prices are great too. They do everything from gel nails, regular manicures, pedicures to nail design. What I like about this place is the amount of time they take for any service. I never feel like they are in a rush and trying to get to the next client. They rarely turn people away and give pretty accurate wait times. Personally, I recommend getting an appointment. I do a lot of walk-ins but appointments are better if you like a certain nail tech. I usually get a French pedicure and they can last me two weeks without a chip! Occasionally if I messed up a nail, I've gone back in and they've fixed it for me. (Repairs need to be done within two days, I think) Though everyone is great and does a wonderful job, I am extra fond of Tina for pedicures. She doesn't seem to mind if I'm doing work and I don't talk much. One of my favorite thing at the shop is the massage chairs. I could sit there for days. read more

Went there this morning. So so disappointed !! The ladies were super rude and seemed like I was bothering them by giving them business. What really upset me was she did not use clean clippers on me. And was not bothered at all to treat me like a customer. Never going back there again. !!!' read more

I would give this place 100 stars if I could because they are legit the place nail place ever!! Every single person who works here takes the time to get your nails absolutely freaking perfect! Their prices are super reasonable and they do not charge extra for add ons like other nail places do! I don't know what kind of special bonding agent they use but your nails will NEVER chip or lift from the bottom when they start growing out. Highly recommend! read more

This has been my go-to nail salon for the last two years. There are so many salons to choose from but I have been very loyal to this one. Friendly technicians, good selection of shellac colors, and excellent service. I've pretty much have seen all the different technicians here and they are all wonderful! read more

I'm blown away by the great service of this place! I found Forever Nails on yelp and chose them for their 1) price 2) convenient location 3) ability to take me in in such short notice. What I enjoyed about my visit is how meticulous my technician was (Whitney, I think is her name). She took her time and I really appreciated that. To my surprise, they also use hot stones to massage your legs...What a treat! Their massage chairs are very good too. I will definitely come back here! read more

Have I not written a review yet? Because this is my go to place now that I am doing acrylic nails. First, I am obsessed by these nails which I finish off with gel. Being someone who has never had nice nails, this is the most wonderful treat. I have dry, brittle nails and I use my hands a lot. So I have never been able to wear nail polish nor have nice nails. I go to Tiffany and she does a great job with my nails every time. I go to her every 3-4 weeks to get the nails filled and new polish. The cost is $31 for the fill and the gel. Pretty standard based on my experience. Hey, you get what you pay for, right? read more

My first time came to have manicure here, is so close from my house., i was hoping to have a great nice gel color nail for my bday! The lady was politely she knows that she screw up my nail! Unfortunately its took forever for her to do my gel,, its too much talk with her other coworker in their own language! They need to learn how to be professionals and giving a good service! Never come back here and wont recommend anyone to go here... I had to cut my own nail was still very sharp and my cuticle still hang in! My husband asked if i did go to the nail to get manicure he saw me cutting my nail & cuticle ... read more

I had an appointment an hour before closing and they didn't make me feel rushed to leave. The lady doing my nails made sure I sat there until my nails were dry before she let me pay and leave. Forever Nails is the best nail salon in Los Altos, by far! My wife and I have been coming here for years! They are always so friendly and accommodating. Service was blah. I just didn't feel as important as the other customers(i'm just sensitive).... just because I'm Asian doesn't mean I don't tip well. I would've given them a good tip if they provided the same customer service the other people got. Maybe I'm just paranoid. My pedicure was so so, place was clean. Won't be coming back here for sure. read more

3 1/2 stars for friendly service. I had a quick basic mani care & they had enough staff to take me in. The salon was busy. This local salon by a Los Altos downtown parking lot is not the cleanest I have been to but $15 for basic mani is harder to find in that price now. They also sell some of the tools they use so I get one to pay with the credit card. read more

I go there regularly for more than a year, and I love this place. It is quiet, the staff is very nice and not in a rush. They really take the time to do the best job, so don't go there if you are in a hurry...I also recommend to take appointments. The place is clean and the instruments seems to me well sterilized (autoclaved). This is very important to me. On top of it, the price are moderate. What more could I ask for ? read more

This is a new business that is doing a great job providing quality nail care services. I've visited twice, and while I've experienced some minor glitches, the attitudes and efforts by the staff have been terrific. My new gel nails are not too thin or thick, lasted as expected, and very reasonably priced. I love, love their pedicures! Hot stones, scrubs, lemon water infused soak and a delicate hand in grooming. They use only OPI brand polish, so your color will last a long time. Please do give them a try! read more

This spot is pure bliss and incredible! Everyone here works so hard and is meticulous in making your nails look top notch. I live in San Jose but drive out here because it's beyond worth it! I have wide, flat feet (that look like kleenex boxes) and toes that look like little sausages and after a visit here I am a new woman with beautifully massaged tootsies and sparkling clean nails! So many color options (shellac & regular), very clean tools and equipment, the staff is so sweet. Forever Nail Spa - Almond shape acrylics for $45 - Nail Salons Near Me - Los Altos, California

This was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I sat in the chair for over an hour before my nails were even painted. A young girl was doing my nails and clipped the side of my toe which started bleeding. She put pressure on it but did nothing else - not even an apology for cutting me. After she finished shaping my nails, another technician came in and proceeded to cut my nails even though I specifically said file only. After my toenails were extremely too short she continued to cut the cuticle around my nail until it was red and puffy. Two of my toes were torn up after this. read more

This nail salon has zero concept hygiene and sanitation. The technician used dirty towels and touched cash tip then proceeded to work on my nails without washing her hands. More importantly she cut my finger and didn't do so much as to acknowledge or apologize. When I asked for alcohol wipes and neosporin she completely ignored and failed to realize the potential for infection. If you are ok with low sanitation and cheap prices this is the place. Anyone else stay clear. read more

Wow! This place is a steal for the price. The staff is so incredible - kind, accommodating, and a great attention to detail you love to see at a nail spa. $30 for the best gel manicure I've ever had and I splurged for the $45 forever pedicure which included a scrub, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax. Totally worth it. I called and made an appointment the day before since my friend and I wanted to go at 10am on Sat but they did take a few walk ins while we were there. Only one or two people they asked to come back later but that's to be expected during Sat AM in my opinion. Love this place - thank you so much for a relaxing experience and beautiful nails! read more

This place is a gem! Hidden little place in downtown Los Altos. Just moved to Los Altos from SF and so I found this place near the house. They are super detailed and used excellent products! They take their time and always do an excellent job with very reasonable price! read more

Forever Nail Spa reliably delivers a quality gel manicure and long-lasting pedicure. Their technicians are thorough and I'm always pleased with the shape of my nails. I ultimately stopped going to them, though, because of their dated color choices for regular polish (their gel choices are OK). But, I would probably go back if I were in a pinch, or if they updated their polish options. I highly recommend setting an appointment, as they can get quite busy and I regularly saw clients without an appointment turned away. But, they are very flexible if you call ahead. read more

Terrible. Came in for a shellac polish removal. I said 3 times that all I was removal and didn't have time for a manicure because I had to catch a train. They removed the color and filed my nails and charged $18 claiming I should have told them I didn't want a manicure. My hands are dry, my nails are not smooth, I don't have any polish on (not even clear) and the "manager" came out claiming I had a manicure. I refused to pay $18 and they said $17- telling me it was my fault. What a joke. In hindsight I shouldn't have paid them that much. $12 would have been fair. Total joke. They were rude, unprofessional, and the facility was filthy. Never ever go here!! read more

My coworker and I will no longer be coming back to this salon, its too bad too because their place is clean and its close to our work. We went a few days ago and had an appt at 5:45pm, my coworker got started on at 6:10pm and I didn't get started on until 6:20pm. So obviously EXTREMELY late and once again we get started at separate times....not cool!! This has literally happened every single time we have come in with an appointment. My other issue was that I had a toe nail that had fallen off on my big toe. There was still a piece of the old nail attached and I had to tell them 4 times to leave the nail alone and just paint it. Get this.....one of the ladies came over to look at it and started clipping some of it away!! WTF!! Did you not hear me the other 4 times to leave my toe alone. That's not something you just start doing to someones toe. I was so annoyed!! read more

I guess nothing much has changed since my last review in 2010...pedicure was awesome, manicure was subpar. Lyly did an excellent job on my pedicure, I've never done gel on my toes but the price isn't too bad and i figure i'll keep the polish on until my nail grows out. My manicure on the other hand was also gel but not applied on as meticulously and after one day i notice the tips are not perfectly painted. And she did something that is just one of my pet peeves - instead of using a brush and alcohol to clean around the edges she used her own nail to wipe the excess polish. One, it hurts and two, she didn't even take all the polish off. I think for the price I will go back but you guys have to find the right techs and ask for them. P.S. maybe I got the same nail tech as 2010 but this time she asked me how much my purse was and a client left their ring on the table and she just put it on her finger, I hope she's just wearing it for safe keeping. read more

My hubby and i had pedis here, (yes, my guy gets pedis, don't be jealous ladies.) We were seated immediately, but then my guy was left to soak for a long time until someone came to work on his tootsies. It wouldn't have been a big deal if someone had communicated that he'd be sitting there for over 20 minutes. I wasn't very happy with my pedicure. The woman kind of hurt me, and I actually had to ask her to stop doing so a few times. I'm no wuss, but I get concerned that if it hurts, it will hurt worse later, (or result in a mild infection.) She also got a bit of polish on my skin, and I had to specifically ask her to remove it. I REALLY hate to have to do that, i don't want to seem nitpicky and difficult. BUT, the reason i go and get them done, instead of doing them myself is partially because i can't keep the polish in the lines:( Prices were reasonable, but I'd rather pay a few dollars more for a better overall experience. With the numerous nail salons in the area, I definitely won't be going back here. read more

The first time I went there the lady did not do a good job on my $45 pedicure. The nails were cut uneven, she did not file them and did a terrible job painting them. I didn't realize how bad they were until I got home. I called to have a redo. The man who answered the phone did not not speak English much. He did say to come in. I tried to explain to him this is for a redo on a pedicure. I mentioned this at least 3 times so I would not have any issues when I arrived. Sure enough I did. I told the lady when she started that this is a redo and thanked her for fixing them. She was not same person who did them the first time. Unfortunately she did not speak much English also. I tried to mention this a few times during the appt. When it came time to leave I tipped her and said thank you. Right before I left two ladies said I needed to pay AGAIN. I told them I spoke with a gentleman to make the appt and pointed to a guy standing behind the counter and said he told me to come in. He then said "oh I forgot to tell her and asked me to pay her $10". Then another lady behind the counter tried to confront both of us and question me about my lousy first pedicure. This was really poor customer service. The first pedi was really bad and it cost $45. They really need to have someone in there that speaks English to avoid confusion or at least not have someone who speaks and understands English making appointments. In defense of the second lady, she did a much better job on my nails. I still don't think I will be back because of the first lady and the confusion when I went back to have the lousy pedicure fixed. read more

Most inexpensive nail salon I've come across in a long while, with $13 regular manicures and $23 regular pedicures. My gel French manicure came out to $35 - probably a good $10-$20 less expensive than I'd come across anywhere else in the Bay (including Oakland, where this same set runs me around $45 sans tip). I was also impressed by the gel color assortment and the pedicure chairs, which I did not sit in but looked very comfy and professional. No plain buckets here! Just lined jet foot baths. Finally, they had lots of employees, which meant they had the capacity to work on 7-8 people at a time. I imagine this leads to shorter wait times. I was even able to walk right in and be seated immediately on the day before Thanksgiving, when apparently everyone else decided to get their nails done. My only wish was that they had a better array of nail designs, which I admit I'm a sucker for even if they can be gaudy. read more
