My fiancé and I were walking around for about 5 minutes quite overwhelmed. Shannon came up to us and asked if we needed help. We both didn't answer immediately and she asked us questions that directed us in the right way. We told her we like goofy costumes. She did not disappoint when she named off some different ideas. She took her time, we all had fun trying on costumes, and we found the perfect one. All staff was very friendly. You do have to pay a rental deposit that you do get back once you return the costume. It turns out that the only costume that she found acceptable was sold out just about everywhere! Googled around for a bit and I came across this business. I called Kostume Room at about 11pm on a Saturday night, and was shocked that I not only got an answer, but the woman who answered was SUPER helpful. She went to the back to see if there were any of the items left that I was searching for, and there was JUST ONE! So she saved it for me and told me that she would get it shipped out ASAP and will get to me in time for my event. Not only do they have an awesome price point -- I heard some of the workers in the background being super helpful to find the item as well even tho everybody was off work and off the clock. Couldn't recommend this place more! Thank you!

Disappointing Experience at True Society…read more I recently visited True Society with my daughter to help her find her wedding dress, and unfortunately, the experience left all of us feeling disappointed and disheartened. From the very beginning, the consultant assisting us showed very little interest in my daughter, her engagement, or her wedding. She didn't ask about the date, the venue, or any personal details that might help guide the appointment--details that make this process feel special and tailored. My daughter had even submitted photos in advance of the dresses she was hoping to try, but when we arrived, none of those dresses had been pulled, and it seemed there was no record of what she had sent. It felt like we were just another appointment on the calendar, not real people shopping for one of the most important garments of a lifetime. Our group was small--just four of us--but we weren't offered a single refreshment. We watched other groups being served a variety of drinks while we were never even asked if we'd like a water. It may seem small, but in an environment meant to celebrate such a joyful moment, these details matter. Perhaps most frustrating was that we clearly communicated a budget of $5,000, and nearly every dress pulled for my daughter to try was significantly over that. Ignoring someone's budget not only adds unnecessary stress to an already emotional process, but it also shows a lack of respect for their preferences and financial boundaries. We had visited other bridal shops that treated our experience with care and enthusiasm. They made an effort to connect with my daughter and show genuine excitement for her big day. That kind of warmth and attention is exactly what you hope for when shopping for a wedding gown. Unfortunately, True Society missed the mark completely. When someone chooses a bridal boutique, they're not just buying a dress--they're trusting you with a piece of their story. It's about feeling seen, celebrated, and supported. For a store like True Society, where the stakes are so personal and emotional, creating a positive and personalized experience should be the standard--not the exception. Sadly, we left feeling like an afterthought rather than a bride and her loved ones on a joyful search. I hope this feedback encourages the team at True Society to reflect on the importance of connection, attention to detail, and genuine care in every appointment.

Our pedicure was $168 before tip. $20 of this price was unknown as to where it came from as the pedicure should've been $59 each plus $15 each for gel.. Given the price we had high expectations as where we normally go for our pedi is priced similar but with a completely different spa like experience. Let me start by saying that the menu we were handed was covered in some sort of goop and I was shocked that they wouldn't clean it off or offer a towel for our hands. We picked the third highest pedicure on their list that supposedly had offerings that the entry level pedicures didn't. But, since the lady next to me picked the cheapest pedicure I found out we got the exact same pedicure for different prices? They used the same oils and lotions out of bottles that look like they would hold ketchup at a BBQ restaurant with no label so who knows what it actually was. Normally, when you choose different pedis a nice salon will have different scents to choose from or a bath bomb or scented salt soak for your feet or specially scented oils but nope. Just unscented what seems to look like vegetable oil. Additionally, we weren't offered a drink. We weren't told where the massage remote was for our chairs causing us to go half of our pedicure without one, we were given extremely rushed leg massages with a max time of 5 minutes and at the end, the girl who gave my pedicure just walked away and never came back. I sat there wondering should I put on my shoes and go pay or if she would return? To add to this as if it isn't bad enough, we also didn't get the reflexology that is mentioned on their menu. The menu is filled with fluff that isn't clear on what you will receive. If you do decide to go here, which I advise against, just get the cheapest and prepare for disappointment.
