I've been to Kicks many times. Molly is my favorite person I've ever had for my pointe shoes. She takes her time to make sure you get your right pair of shoes. Molly also makes pointe shoe fittings a more fun and lighthearted experience. She's fitted me for 2 pairs of shoes and they both have been successful. If you want a fitting, I would recommend requesting Molly to fit you. On another occasion, a man was fitting me for my pointe shoes. I felt he was rushing me and was not giving me his attention or respect. I've only had one pair of shoes fitted with him, but I had to return them for they did not fit right, mainly because he did not give attention to what my feet needed and rushed me. The man appeared to not care about my needs as a dancer, and more seemed as if all he cared about was getting my money. I love kicks, but the man was rude. If you go to Kicks for a pointe fitting, request Molly. Besides fittings, they have a lot of different dance attire and shoe choices. Besides a bad staff experience, I recommend Kicks for dancewear and dance supplies! read more

We absolutely love Kicks Dancewear. We have been shopping at Kicks for 10 years, fitting 4 different kids with dance shoes and supplies. They have so many different dance shoes to choose from, and their staff will make sure that the shoes fit just right. Kicks also sells a large variety of beautiful leotards and dance clothing. If they do not have the size or style you want (in shoes or clothing) - they will special order it for you. William, the owner of Kicks, knows and understands dance. There is no better place in West Michigan to get Dancewear than Kicks! A few notes - if you need pointe shoes fitted - make sure you call and schedule an appointment. Also, when my kids in college need dance shoes, I can order them from Kicks and they will ship them to them for me (I pay the cost of shipping). They really work hard to help their customers. read more

I run a public school dance program and have been a customer at Kicks for over 20 years. In that time I have always had exceptional service both in the store and when Kicks travels to us to fit my students. Professional fittings and advice, quick response to any questions or issues, and great communication make shopping at Kicks a delight. You just can't beat their customer service. In a world where more and more people buy online to try and save a few bucks, Kicks is a business I will support again and again because the dance community needs them! They provide great discounts and exceptional service to my students year after year. Thanks to Kicks for a great on-site sale in Zeeland yesterday and for all the personal attention, encouragement, and service you give my families. read more

My daughter recently started pointe so this is all new to me. I didn't realize we had to make an appointment to be fitted for shoes. We drove over an hour to get to Kicks. We were quickly turned away empty handed because we didn't make an appointment. A gentleman named William came out and brought us back in the store so we could get shoes. I give him 10 stars for his exceptional customer service!!! For the store itself, their website could be more helpful and they should realize that not everyone is on Facebook. William is amazing, he went above and beyond to help us!!! read more

William and his staff are wonderful. I always send my students to him when they need to be fitted for shoes, and he has helped us with a larger group order as well. There are so few brick and mortar stores left to provide fittings, and we are lucky to have Kicks in our community. William stocks many shoes at a variety of price points to ensure that everyone can find what they need. This is a dance store run by a dancer. He knows the art form and strives to help make every dancer a success. read more

I have seen employees give their full attention to the customer that they are working with letting them know that they are a valued customer. Always very accommodating with shipping needed dancewear items quickly, or making appointments for fittings. Great selection of dancewear at very affordable prices. Love this store and what they contribute to Zeeland Dancers! Wouldn't shop anywhere else! read more

We have shopped at Kicks for years. They have always been able to schedule appointment times that work for us for shoe fittings. All of the employees have gladly gone above and beyond to make sure that my daughter has the right fit and that we are able to find the items she needs. They seem to have the widest selection and stock of dance shoes. Kicks is indispensable to the West Michigan dance community! read more
