I almost passed this surplus store. It's been on my go to place for awhile to look for some military pants for work and some MRE's. Forest Park surplus has plenty of clothing and other military/ camping items to choose from. The prices was very doable. They also have knives and guns. I was disappointed about the selection of MRE's which was only 1 chose of ingredients. I can say will go back for the clothes and the camping selections. read more

Nice place! Had everything I was looking for and at great prices. I was able to get a variety of things.

Be prepared to spend over 100 I was told they do discounts got there and was told it depends on who is there read more

They literally have everything you need! They are good people. Good prices too. They have a lot more selection of firearm accessories that other shops dont have. Service is great! But it can get pretty busy in there. read more

Took a class here. 5/5 instructor . He was patient and explained everything to me in simple terms. Can't ask for anything else.

The gun experts here are excellent! Merchandise: you can get something here as simple as a pen flashlight to a bullet proof vest. The store may look moderate from the outside, but they have a ton of stuff in this store. Some are good prices, but I'd have to admit that some are slightly overpriced. Understandable though when you're competing with a behemoth like Amazon. Employees: I agree that the front staff isn't the most pleasant bunch sometimes, but the gun experts in the back are amazing. Steve, who helped me decide on a shotgun, was so accommodating and knowledgable. I spent a bit of time getting his insight on house protection. Super grateful for his recommendations. Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? Pretty sure I'll be there very soon. read more

Forest Park Army-Navy Store - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Forest Park, Georgia

It's been a minute since my last review, but I've been back countless times. Half the time I don't even need anything. I just go back because they have so much cool stuff. Today I needed ammo. And I picked up a sharpener for my blade. Thank you to the guy behind the counter for friendly, informing service. Resolved my scope issue and gonna help answer a long standing fire arm question I've had just as soon as revisit the store. Highly recommend this place. read more

Had everything I was thinking of looking for. Really big store, but had great selection of things

I love this store. I shopped here one time to purchase my piece. The guy was excellent in helping me select one for me, an amateur. He was really patient and answered all my questions. The prices were reasonable and they have quality items. I'll be back for sure. read more

I purchased my 3rd firearm from this location yesterday. They literally might have the best prices in the Atlanta area and the service is awesome. I purchased a P365 XL with a red-dot sight, the guys there mounted the sight, disassembled the gun and oiled it for me. Outstanding services. If I ever want or need another firearm, I'm checking with them first! read more

I've purchased my first handgun from here . I LOVE how friendly the staff is. Wide range of selection. They answer all of my questions. My opinion they are better than the gun range Range, Guns & Safes - Forest Park and Arrowhead. You want to save money and buy new weapons come here!!! read more

Thank you so much for your great service! A young man named Tipp helped me not only find a gun that was right for me but he totally educated me, showed me how to use it and gave me the confidence to show my family how to safely handle their own guns in the future. He also encouraged me to go the the range and practice and helped me understand the difference between defense ammo and gun range ammo! Omg, God bless you Tipp, God bless that store. I highly recommend! Also they have EVERYTHING. Cavlar vest (if that's how you spell it) water storage jugs, gas cans, water purification tabs, gear... everything. I can't believe this was my first time in the store, I will certainly be back and will enthusiastically recommend this store to everyone I know. Thank you!!!!!!! read more

Gun buying used to be fun until you get unlawfully delayed by the Federal Governments NICS Check ! I have a UPIN and I know darn well I haven't broken the law since I got it !! I'm not blaming the store but when a shocker like that happens- It makes me know the thrill is gone !! Smh FP ARMY NAVY REFUNDED MY MONEY, IM GRATEFUL.... It wasn't the stores fault at all !!! But after this the FBI certainly leaves a lot to be desired with corruption at the top problems they've been having !! read more

This place is seriously awesome, and has a plethora of all sorts of really cool things. Guns? Of course. Wooden practice swords? Yep. Canteens? Helmets? Backpacks? Boots? Gas masks? Yepp. And so much more. Really, you could get lost wandering this place. It is entirely too cool, and has so many interesting things. Weapons, armor, clothes. If you're making some kind of costume that involves a post-apocalyptic wasteland, this place could probably be your one stop shop, as it will prove to be mine. read more

Good store they are very friendly also has sum very nice deals on Glocks!!!!!! I recommend to everyone

This place is awesome. Not only did they help me get exactly what I needed they also made sure that my shipping costs were down really low. I ordered from their online store because visiting would have been a mission. Melissa, who works there called me up personally to let me know that she had packed up my stuff and offered me a much better shipping deal. Now THAT is customer service...Calling me to let me know what is going on is so much better than getting an email that I would have to wait to get a response from . +5! read more

I have been wanting to visit this store for quite some time and I was finally able to this past Saturday - March 9, 2019. I was so glad that I finally made it into this amazing store. First - the store is really big and has a huge amount of inventory that ranges from true old surplus stuff from way back to perhaps current issue - foreign stuff too. Lots of aisles to wander along looking at stuff you have either long forgotten or never knew was available. Second - the staff was great. If you have a question, they will definitely be able and HAPPY to either answer it or get another staff member that can. I walked in looking for a some M65 Pant Liners in an XL. Unfortunately they did not have any available. In all fairness to them no one seems to have any available in that size unless it is from some obscure vendor hidden deep within the internet. However, they did have some of the ECWCS Gen 3 Level 7 Bottoms that were used and in really great shape. Most importantly, they were being offered at a fair price. I got mine cheaper than I would have paid had I purchased them over the internet with shipping. Plus, I was able to look them over, try them on and get them faster than any courier could have gotten them to me. which is a huge plus! Like Brandon J said, "Ditch Amazon and give this place a try". I could not agree more - forget the internet buy local! I am anxious to get back down to Forest Park sometime soon so that I can visit this amazing store again. I need to lay hands on those XL liners, another MARPAT tarp, and some cold weather mittens & liners for an emergency car bag and day packs/hiking packs. If you love military surplus stores then you definitely will be able to spend a couple of hours - maybe even a few - there at Forest Park Army-Navy Store read more

I had to come to this location to exchange a holster I had bought at the Stockbridge location and they are very nice and helpful here!

I went in on a whim and WOW!! I have been looking for 22 magnum for months so I bought half of his stock. Also looking for 32 Winchester and he had it too. I see myself doing a lot of business there!! GREAT PLACE GREAT PRICES. read more

Great store. Tons of neat and cool stuff. Always have to stop in when I am on that side of town to see what is new on the shelves. Staff and the gun counter guys are always helpful. read more

I went to the store a few weeks ago to buy a jacket and everything for my dad who recently passed. I barely knew anything about what he needed. The employees were amazing but the manager was just incredible. They were also very kind especially during the situation. They put all the buttons and ribbons and everything on the jacket for me for my dads funeral and they made everything super easy. Amazing store and amazing staff. read more

This joint have everything you want as far as a army navy store the staff is great the prices are resonable. I'll be back.

Good customer service. I recently bought a rifle at a decent price. I will be going back soon.

This place has an insanely large inventory. They are always adding and updating. You'll find some unlikely things here as they're always sneaking useful things in. The staff and owner are great. I've been going here for probably 15 years. I've never had a bad experience. Support your local business! Ditch Amazon and give this place a try. If you're looking for higher end duty gear, check out the sister company across the street! read more

Seemed like a good place, randomly stopped by to find a molly pouch which they had, guy at desk seemed nice.

It was some time back when I purchased an old Mauser rifle which had been sporterized. All I wanted was the action, so I didn't care that the stock had been altered. Well, I gave the clerk my driver's license and credit card, and filled out the firearms form, and I thought I was done. I took the rifle out to my car, and this guy follows me out the door and says, "You didn't pay for that rifle." He didn't say, "Sir, you still need to do something to complete the purchase." He just deadpans me and looks like one of those zombies ready to eat your brains. This store apparently has some kind of two-step sales process that was not adequately explained to me. To say I was stunned by this guy looking at me and making an accusation like that was an understatement. I went back in and I cannot even remember what they wanted me to do. I told them I thought that by giving them all of that information--which included my name, address, credit card number, Declaration of Independence, etc., that I was done. I've never seen a sales procedure like this outfit has. Anyway, I took the rifle home--but I was so put off by the experience that it has just been sitting in my gun safe. To tell you the truth, I have thought about going back and just tossing it to the owner and saying, "Here--you think a retired Army officer was trying to steal your stupid gun after giving you his name, address and credit card information--you must need it more than I do." I am sure, however, that I would never set foot in this store again. I sincerely hope it goes out of business. read more
