After years and years of looking for the right Pawn Shop to do business with, I Finally found a…read moreplace that always treats me like I'm part of their family. Union City Pawn is now my favorite and go-to shop, to buy, pawn or just browse the selection. Although they always have a great selection, the main reason I rate them at 5 stars is because of the great staff. Mike and Christie are the best, not only for giving you the most for your pawn value, but also for giving you a great deal when you're ready to purchase something that catches your eye. You can't go wrong with Union City Pawn, and don't just take my word for it, check out their other reviews. This is your new pawn shop!

I recently got a rental for my son for school. I setup an autopsy and forgot about it, so when…read moreJoyce called telling me that my card hadn't gone through on the 22nd, I was confused. I did some research and found out what the problem was and planned to call back to fix the payment issue, but it was a holiday and I was understandably distracted. Joyce called again on the 25th to ask for payment. I was at work and didn't have my wallet with me. I told her that I also work retail and was in the middle of a long and busy weekend. I told her I would call Monday with payment. She still called me multiple times through the weekend and called my store repeatedly to harass my staff in those days. She's unprofessional, rude and I can't even imagine treating my customers like this. The manager said she's the owners wife so there's not much he can do but share the feedback with her. It wasn't a matter of the money. I don't have an issue paying. It's that she harassed me and my staff. Stating that my bill was due on 11/6 and she had still not received payment. I looked over my statements and email notifications with the card on file. She didn't even attempt to run my card until the 22nd when she called me and the problem with my card didn't pop up until the 10th. So, she waited over 2 weeks to let me know there was a problem, on a holiday weekend, and then harassed myself and my staff. She called back to back and from different phone numbers. Seems like a lot of heat towards me when she is the one that didn't execute the payment on time to begin with. If she had ran it on the 6th, like she was supposed to and like we agreed on, she wouldn't have had an issue.

The women working there at the time I stopped in were nice. One of them obviously knows more about crystals than the other, but both are willing to help any way they can. Not sure about the jewelry but DO NOT BRING A WATCH HERE…read more They held onto a watch I brought in for a crown repair and did nothing but issue excuses for 3 months.
