Stopped by Fords Pizza on September 16th and ordered a medium pie, half pepperoni and half spicy honey pepperoni. The pizza came out fresh, hot, and tasted amazing! I especially enjoyed the spicy honey pepperoni because it had a really nice balance of sweet and spicy without being too much. I will say that $27.18 for a medium pie felt a little pricey at first, but after trying it, this is definitely one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. The quality and flavor were there, and I really enjoyed it. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. Parking was easy to find right behind the pizzeria, so that was another plus. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing perfect pizza. Gooey fresh cheese with perfect texture that's chewy and soft but has bounce, chewy but crispy thin enough crust (I wish the crust were more thin as a personal preference), the sauce is tasty and isn't pasty (I prefer more lumpy tomatoes but the taste is what matters and it tastes yummy). There's plenty of open seating for a non-wake up experience so you don't have to waste money on it, and the seats are very comfortable and easy to clean, the place has a nice AC that's not cold but keeps the humidity away. And the owner is very nice. A plain slice is $3.50 and no minimum for credit card. The only thing I wish is much less thick of the dough. I prefer paper thin to enjoy the cheese more than the dough. And easier to eat when it's not thick. But overall this pizza is definitely one of my favorites in the Fords near Edison, Menlo Park and Woodbridge. You would never assume they would make excellent pizza since there are so many all over New Jersey. read more

Fords Pizza is on my regular rotation of restaurants for work lunches. They have a great selection of "slices" each one flavorful and well made. I typically don't eat my crusts but here I do! Not only is the pizza delicious the staff here are incredibly friendly. You don't get good customer service everywhere nowadays but at Fords Pizza it's service with a smile. It has a real "at home", genuine, vibe. read more

This is our go-to for pizza in the area. We order a few times per month and it's always consistently good traditional pie. The sauce is nice and not overwhelming. The cheese just right and the Italian seasoning is the perfect touch. read more

Being in NJ, there are a lot of good pizza places to go to. Fords is one of the places that stands out. It's currently my favorite pizza place. One of the reasons Fords stands out is that it is still a family owned and run restaurant. Everyone is friendly and does their best to make sure the food is great; the service is excellent and the patrons are happy. read more

I have been going to Fords Pizza Restaurant for Lunch and Dinner and I really like the food. The service is usually good but what happened to me and my Bereavement Group was unreal. There were eight of us who came for dinner. The waitress was new, and she had a hard time understanding what we wanted to eat. She didn't come and check to see if we needed anything else, and when we needed our check, we had to tell her. We told her that we wanted separate checks, but she gave us one check, and then she had to do all ones check separate. Then when we got the check, an extra charge was added for waitress service on each check. I was told by Adrian that after six people in your party a fee is added to the bill which goes towards the waitress. There is no sign posted in the restaurant to alert customers of this. My friends who came with me will not come back after being charged an extra fee for waitress service. Many of them did not give tips or did not give anything at all. If we knew that we would get charged an extra fee for waitress service, we would have ordered the food our self and paid our own bill for what we ordered. I believe that if a sign is not posted to alert customers or to tell customers the policy Fords Pizza will end up losing money because the customers who used to come to eat there will not come back. read more

Went to this pizza place for the first time on 8/11/21... Ordered 4 Sicilian slices to go. The girl working at the counter was very customer friendly and answered a few questions that I had. Hopefully I can get delivery service to South Amboy,NJ right off of Victory Plaza the first exit on 9/35 south.... She wasnt sure what part of South Amboy they deliver to as she said that a certain part of town they do. read more

The Pizza was ok, nothing special. I do not understand why restaurants are allowed to charge Mandatory Tips when a tip is supposed to be for good service. I know many people in the restaurant business and having a mandatory tip is hurting the poeple who go out of there way to give good service. we were charged a tip of 18% and the girl at the counter was very rude told us it is required. Have never gone to a take out place that required you to tip and will never go back to Ford Pizza read more

Food is delicious, delivery guy was nice and followed precautions as we deal with this outbreak.

I was not impressed, actually I was very disappointed. I've had pizza from them many times and have enjoyed it. This time my kids ordered for Mother's Day. I was so looking forward to having my dinner. I ordered lasagna with meat. Well, when I opened it, it was a bunch of lasagna noodles swimming in a watered down sauce. The meat was plopped under the middle of the mound of noodles and there was some mozzarella cheese plopped in top of that. It was accompanied by a tiny piece of scrunched up bread. I would have given them one star if it wasn't for the cheese cake I ordered and the nice delivery guy. It kind of ruined my Mother's Day. I may go back for the pizza but I won't order dinners again. read more

So I recently moved to fords and on moving day needed to order my movers pizza, randomly found this place and I'm so glad I did. While ordering my food I explained to the woman taking my order I'm at a softball game and am literally moving today, she was so nice and very patient as I cheered my daughters team on. My pizza was delicious absolutely perfect, the staff including the delivery driver where all so kind and so patient. A week later we ordered a chicken roll and a pepperoni roll and both where very delicious, that same day I found the card that was sent to me with my menus and the card read "good luck with your new place" i mean how sweet is that, the woman that took my order hand wrote a nice little note. How could you not go back? read more

I ordered delivery for lunch for my husband and I and the delivery was over 45 minutes late - this was an issue because our lunch break was only an hour long. I called the restaurant and didn't get an apology or a solution to the issue. The pizza arrived hot and it was pretty good! We also got a 2 liter and I believe it was only around $15 with the combo deal on their website. If you order through the SLICE app you get money off as well. They included a plastic bag full of plastic cutlery, straws, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. I understand what they are going for but this is totally unnecessary and extremely wasteful - please stop doing this! read more

Okay so I've been here many years ago but just came back to order for a pool party. Great pizza! Truly and old time Pizza place. Great variety of slice pies and the problem becomes in deciding which one to get. Friendly owners and staff and prices are good. This is my go to pizza place when I work in raritan center in spite of the fact that there is a pizza place right there. The dinners look awesome, just dont have the time to wait and I am into a more quick lunch. The Sandwiches are good and freshly made read more

I've ordered here several times but since Covid the service has gone down. Multiple times I've ordered Chicken franchise however each time the chicken had no flavor. They offer gluten free however when you order it, you do not receive gluten free. I called to complain and nothing is done to rectify the situation. They claim to tend to people allergies however since Covid they seem to be so concerned with orders they lack customer service. Having allergies this is a huge problem for me. In addition I have ordered pizza and The pizza is delivered hot but cheese is on one side of the pie Order elsewhere!! read more

Ok so updating my review and increasing to 5 stars. Hands down this is the best neighborhood slice and lasagna cook! We usually order couple slices and lasagna and it is amazing. Taste is great for the lasagna and they have it piping hot and ready and delivered in 30 mins. The staff is super nice, from the chef to the girl at the front. We have completely stopped ordering from any where else, but them for pizza. Great for slice or pies or main dishes. I have had the chicken parm sandwich too which was ok, so stick to slices, pies and baked entrees. read more

The lasagne pizza is soooo good! Love the crust. Some of the pizzas have such a light and airy crust, they're my favorite!!

Great local pizza place! Friendly staff, plenty of space to eat-in. Typical NJ pizza and Italian menu is done well. The pricing is at or below average for the area. The chicken parmesan sandwich is well made and not sloppy, pizzas are great. I have no opinion on delivery, as I always do eat in or carry out. Plenty of parking on road and behind, convenient to rt. 440, Raritan center, etc. read more

The service is always great when we go, kind servers who are attentive. But- the pizza is just awful. The pie is always greasy, the crust is rubbery and overall, leaves us all with a stomach ache. Worst delivery experience ever....twice their delivery guy couldn't find our townhouse which has the full street address clearly printed on our garage easily seen from the street yet both times the pizza was over an hour late from their posted delivery time. The first time we drove to Sciortinos pizzeria to get a pie while they're driver called us seeking directions....apparently he's the only person unaware of GPS. This night he at least made it to our street but drove past me waiting outside in the rain waving for him to stop. Tonight I called for a refund only to be told to call Slice, our ordering app, to obtain a refund from them. If we lived in a wooded rural area I'd understand deliver difficulties but we're in a new development with addresses clearly on every home....goodbye Fords pizza...hello Sciortinos Delivery.... read more

The buffalo chicken wrap my coworker ordered was soggy you couldn't pick up it. We complained to the owner didn't care. It should be soggy. She tried eating it with a fork. It should of been a little crusty the outside so she could pick it up. Lost our business read more

One of the most delicious plain pies I've ever had! Delivery took a bit but it was a Friday night so I wasn't too upset.

On top of having great food Fords Pizza has a great staff. I placed an order through the Slice app and ordered my usual, grilled buffalo chicken salad, but I forgot to 86 the tomatoes. Even tho I messed up the wonderful woman who works there saw my faux pas and called to confirm that I didn't want tomatoes. I always feel welcomed when I walk in, they have the perfect person working the counter, she always knows my name when I pick up my orders.(I wish I knew her name) lol. Top to bottom this is a great place. Great food Great delivery Great staff This is a great New Jersey pizzeria!! read more

Love this place, my go to place for lunch when I'm at work : ) yummy tasting food / pizza

I love this restaurant. Always get great service. Everyone is so kind and food is done in a timely manner.

This place is the worst. They are rude and over charged my credit card. When I called to tell them, the owner/manager told me that I was in the wrong because their menu wasn't updated and THEIR employees told me the price. So over $3 that they wouldn't refund, I told them I would post what happened. The owner was rude, told me DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. So I did, I posted everywhere I could and will continue. All they had to do was apologize and refund my damn $3 now it's not about the money but the principal. They called me back and told me since I posted, they won't refund the overcharge. No problem, letting people know that they are a ripp off is worth the $3! You don't get to make up prices. That's not how you run a business! And do you know r ed views can be changed?? Dumbass! read more

This is the WORST excuse for a pizza place I have ever experienced. The two times I stopped in for regular slices, they were dry and overly burned. After another two years, I decided to order a sicilian and a gyro, to be delivered. You know, give another chance kind of deal. The girl on the phone said the sicilian was at least 1" thick. What I got was 1/2" or less, over-cooked, and I wouldn't even feed it to a dog. The gyro was very small, made up by HUGE, overly salted fries as a side. When I called to complain, the manager, who sounded to be about all of 18, hung up on me twice. Finally the owner answered and didn't offer a refund but a free regular pie. I grew up in Jersey City, in the shadow of NYC. So I know good/bad pizza. If I want to make an enemy of someone, I now know where to send him/her. Better to go to Marcello's, just 2 minutes and 2 miles further. read more
