Fords Garage claims they are known for three things: burgers, beer, and bathrooms. I can attest to the first and third, as I didn't have a beer when I was in, but I think they can add ambiance and service to that list even though neither starts with a B. This place is really cool inside. It truly has a Detroit vibe that I liked. My son went with the BBQ Brisket Burger and I got the Ford's Signature Burger. Both were really good but the BBQ Brisket stood out. Highly recommend. Also, the fries are excellent and well seasoned. Service here is excellent as well. Don't forget to stop by the restrooms even if you don't have to. They are super unique and add to the overall vibe. The only drawback of this place is it is located among the Fayette Mall monstrosity and traffic nightmare. But I'd still say it is well worth that headache. I'll be back. read more

Had heard a lot about this place so when my sister and brother-in-law invited us to dinner, we chose Ford's. It was a crowded weekend night, but we got seated and served quickly. They are NOT SUBTLE with the theme, car parts and garage items are everywhere. It's fun, especially for car enthusiasts and kids. They're known for burgers, beer, and bathrooms. OK... Burgers... we each got different burgers and they were all good, not great. Mine was messy with an egg on top and hard to eat, but that's typical of the overloaded burger thing. And, it was just ok for flavor, nothing special. The fries were fries. Fine. The Cheese Curd appetizer was really good. And, the dessert we got... something with ice cream and chocolate was decadent! I had a beer. It was a good beer. But, they didn't make it. They do have a good selection. The Bathroom... well, they have gas pump handle faucets and the sinks are truck wheels. But, other than that, it's a pretty basic bathroom. I told our server that Buc-ee's had better bathrooms and she seemed genuinely offended. But, it's true. Overall, it didn't blow me away. Today I came in around lunch after the gym and had this waiter Lorenza who was absolutely so rude. She explained the menu and she took a pause so I thought she was done and I said I'll do water please and then she said "and we have coke products "and was so rude. I didn't realize I interrupted her and she gave me some of the worst service and was rude. When we came to order she had the worst tone and was like "ok?" And asked "what do you want" with an awful attitude. I come quite often but this experience alone does it for me. She then would walk out the door with other servers looking and whispering over and pointing so I got the message. I paid and left a tip hoping she realizes at the end of the day being rude isn't the way to go. 1 star and I will not be returning read more

The restaurant is large, with booths, tables and bar seating. There is also a private, quieter room in the back. We sat at the bar during happy hour and received great service. The happy hour cocktails are affordable and very tasty. For an appetizer I had the chicken bites which were light, not greasy. The menu is mostly burgers, which are moist and delicious, but they also have entrees such as salmon, bowls as well as salads. Overall, it was a fin dining experience with a cool, lively environment. 1/10/26 My husband and I Just checked out Ford's Garage, the newest spot in Lexington, KY, and wow this place is already buzzing. They opened at 11am and there was already an hour wait. That's how you know it's legit. Crazy busy, but 100% worth the wait. My husband and I lucked out and snagged a couple seats at the bar. The staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell this place is going to be a Lexington favorite real quick. I ordered their estate burger per the bartenders suggestion and I'm glad I did, it was definitely a 10/10. My husband got the half rack of ribs and the jalapeño cream corn. The ribs were mediocre but the cream corn was fantastic. The place was very cool inside, from the decor to the cool bathroom setup. We absolutely had a great time, would definitely come back in the near future. Especially for anyone that's visiting, as this is now a cool touristy spot. read more

I love the attitude of this spot! From the Ford forward decor, the amazing staff, and the great food, who could ask for more? The portions are generous. The cheese curds and dipping sauce were great. My Mom loved her burger. She ate the whole thing! She enjoyed that the chips were well seasoned. I enjoyed the patty melt. The fries were seasoned well and the sandwich was yummy. Such a neat experience! Fords Garage has excellent happy hour food and drink specials. I got the $10 beer and burger special. Only downside is you must eat at the bar for the food specials. We had Friendly and fast bar service. They have great options for gluten-free and other food allergy guests. We saw the kitchen manager come out and talk to a guest to make sure he got food that was safe to eat having multiple food allergies. New restaurant in Lexington, KY at the far end of Fayette Mall near Dillard. It's the old Logan's location. We've been to the ones in FL so knew what to expect. There are a few differences like no ice around the bar, but they do have a cooling table for your beer. They have great bartenders and I highly recommend coming to see Si. She will take great care of you. We came for happy hour and ordered the beer cheese with bacon. It was served with bread chips which were delicious but it's not beer cheese. As Kentuckians we know beer cheese vs cheese wiz. For entres I got the chicken Henry and it's delicious!! My husband got the burndt ends sandwich with onion rings. Soooo good! I had to send my Mac n cheese back. It was so basic - velveta at best. I did get the truffle fries and OMG they are good! Great prices, good food. Love the ambiance and the bar is great! read more

Came on a Saturday evening with a friend and it took about 20 min to be seated. There was no space to wait inside so I waited in the car; they send you a text when the table is ready. We sat right in front of the fireplace which was very nice, the place was pretty big and well decorated; it is a new place so everything was neat. I unfortunately did not get to use the restrooms as the server suggested, but he claims they're nice! I ordered the buffalo chicken dip and it was very delicious to be honest; then I got the mushroom Swiss burger which was also great, the portion was good; I got one of their cocktails, it had the ingredients of a pina colada but not a pina colada... that was a 1/10 for me. The drink was very strong and it felt like we were drinking a straight up shot of rum. The dessert was AMAZING though; I got the Oreo brookie and it was just delicious, great portion as well. Have been there twice now, once with a bigger party, then just 3 of us. Yes there was a bit of a wait, but it is worth it. Both times the service was incredible, the staff was friendly. But the food, so far has been amazing!! The first experience with a larger we group we all got different appetizers to share and loved everything we tried. Everyone loved their dinner, and the picky kids that are hard to impress, loved it!! The burgers are delicious, the flavors are outstanding. Today was friends & family for Ford garage in lexington ky I had never heard of this place so I was very interested the outside of the bldg looks just like a garage for cars when you go in we was immediately greeted & got seated we used the bathroom and the door handle is a piece that goes on a vehicle which was very neat & the sinks are tires like tires on a vehicle so neat the restaurant had a lot of different pieces of a vehicle I just have not seen anything like it our waitress Sade was very sweet and made sure she kept updating us about the food along with a waiter Isaac they took great care of us the food was great the only thing I didn't like was the seasoning on the fries to much pepper which next time I come I will just ask for it not to be put on there and we all left with doggy bags the portions are a great size my sister ordered the fish & talked about how good it was I definitely cant wait to go back once they opened the area that they are in is perfect for holiday shopping & eating you guys will definitely stay busy have a great opening day read more
