If you're looking for a dining experience that perfectly balances high-octane nostalgia with heavy-duty comfort food, Ford's Garage in Lexington is the ultimate pit stop. Located near Fayette Mall, this isn't just another themed restaurant; it is a meticulously crafted homage to 1920s Americana that feels as authentic as a vintage Model T. From the moment you pull up to the "service station" exterior, the attention to detail is staggering. The interior is a gearhead's dream--vintage Ford vehicles are suspended over the central bar, and the air hums with a lively, communal energy. The "garage" commitment extends to the smallest details: napkins are thick, blue shop towels; the servers sport mechanic shirts; and even the bathroom sinks are cleverly fashioned from tires and fuel pump nozzles. It's immersive without being kitschy, creating a vibe that is both family-friendly and sophisticated enough for a casual date night. While the décor draws you in, the kitchen keeps you in your seat. The menu is anchored by their Burgers of Fame, a clever lineup of Black Angus beef creations. The Model "A": A standout choice. The half-pound prime burger is juicy and flavorful, but the real magic is the combination of a perfectly fried egg, sharp cheddar, and a bacon jam that provides a smoky, sweet finish. Every bun is branded with the Ford's logo--a touch of flair that makes the plate "Instagram-ready" before you even take a bite. You cannot visit without ordering the Jumbo Piston Onion Rings. They arrive stacked high on a vertical rod, encased in a thick, golden batter that provides a satisfying crunch without being overly greasy. If you aren't in the mood for a burger, the Pulled Pork Mac N' Cheese is a soul-warming alternative. The cheese blend is exceptionally creamy, providing a sharp contrast to the tender, bourbon-BBQ-slathered pork. For a lighter (but still flavorful) start, the Firestone Shrimp--tossed in a spicy "boom boom" sauce--offers a bright, zesty kick that wakes up the palate No visit is complete without a "Sweet Ride." Their Old-Fashioned Milkshakes are thick enough to require a spoon and come with the classic whipped cream and cherry topper. If you're sharing, the Funnel Fries (dusted with powdered sugar and served with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces) are a whimsical, carnival-inspired end to a hearty meal. They don't just have a great kitchen; their craft beer list is one of the most comprehensive in the area. Ask your server for a local Kentucky brew to pair with your burger! Ford's Garage has successfully accelerated into the Lexington food scene by proving that a "themed" restaurant can still prioritize culinary quality. The service is efficient and friendly--much like a well-tuned engine--and the prices are fair for the portion sizes and the level of immersion. Whether you're a lifelong car enthusiast or just someone in search of a top-tier burger and a craft beer, this spot is firing on all cylinders.

Ford's Garage is not just a restaurant, it's a dining experience! The restaurant is decorated with antique Ford cars and car parts, such as tires and even engines. The restaurant is large, with booths, tables and bar seating. There is also a private, quieter room in the back. We sat at the bar during happy hour and received great service. The happy hour cocktails are affordable and very tasty. For an appetizer I had the chicken bites which were light, not greasy. The menu is mostly burgers, which are moist and delicious, but they also have entrees such as salmon, bowls as well as salads. Overall, it was a fin dining experience with a cool, lively environment. A great place for a family meal. Oh, you don't have to be a Ford fan to dine here.

1/10/26 My husband and I Just checked out Ford's Garage, the newest spot in Lexington, KY, and wow this place is already buzzing. They opened at 11am and there was already an hour wait. That's how you know it's legit. Crazy busy, but 100% worth the wait. My husband and I lucked out and snagged a couple seats at the bar. The staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell this place is going to be a Lexington favorite real quick. I ordered their estate burger per the bartenders suggestion and I'm glad I did, it was definitely a 10/10. My husband got the half rack of ribs and the jalapeño cream corn. The ribs were mediocre but the cream corn was fantastic. The place was very cool inside, from the decor to the cool bathroom setup. We absolutely had a great time, would definitely come back in the near future. Especially for anyone that's visiting, as this is now a cool touristy spot.

Such a neat experience! Fords Garage has excellent happy hour food and drink specials. I got the $10 beer and burger special. Only downside is you must eat at the bar for the food specials. We had Friendly and fast bar service. They have great options for gluten-free and other food allergy guests. We saw the kitchen manager come out and talk to a guest to make sure he got food that was safe to eat having multiple food allergies. Being married to someone with celiac disease- I really appreciated seeing them take food allergies seriously! We will be back!

New restaurant in Lexington, KY at the far end of Fayette Mall near Dillard. It's the old Logan's location. We've been to the ones in FL so knew what to expect. There are a few differences like no ice around the bar, but they do have a cooling table for your beer. They have great bartenders and I highly recommend coming to see Si. She will take great care of you. We came for happy hour and ordered the beer cheese with bacon. It was served with bread chips which were delicious but it's not beer cheese. As Kentuckians we know beer cheese vs cheese wiz. For entres I got the chicken Henry and it's delicious!! My husband got the burndt ends sandwich with onion rings. Soooo good! I had to send my Mac n cheese back. It was so basic - velveta at best. I did get the truffle fries and OMG they are good! Great prices, good food. Love the ambiance and the bar is great!

This was our first visit to Ford's Garage. What a fun experience and fantastic food. My husband got a burger and I got the fish, with truffle fries. Then for dessert we had their Key Lime Pie.... Oh my goodness. Heavenly!! The restaurant creators put some much thought into every little detail - from napkin holders to the name of items on the menu to even the decor. The service was great and joyfully accommodating. We'll 100% be back!

Go for the experience. The decor and ambiance make this restaurant. The food was great. Service is above fantastic. The whole vibe is on point. Even the bathroom is themed. It was definitely getting crowded, so go early.

Very expensive place to eat. Me and my brother went and each got a burger. After tip price was over $50. Not worth it for a burger meal.

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.
