It is such a cool place! The bar is awesome and decor is nostalgic. Everyone was so friendly from the hostess to the food runners. The meatloaf was absolutely outstanding and the gravy was so good. I dined here for the second time last night with a party of five. We were quoted a 45min-1 hour wait time. We had a drink at the bar while waiting and it was about 45 minutes until we were seated which was fine. This is the second time that again the ticket times for our food were 45 minutes and my food came out with the wrong side. Our plates were never cleared and our drinks were not refilled. Third: The food took longer than expected to get to us, while waitress took care of a new group while we were still without or food. My burger was raw-rare. Inedible. I took 2 bites, but couldn't continue. Extremely undercooked. Also didn't receive the special cheese for the fries. Waitress was very nice and offered to have them remake it. 30 min later it hadn't come but everyone had long finished. Asked to just nix the order. The kids burger was pink, but edible. Fruit was either frozen or from a container. Definitely not fresh as on the menu. They took mine and the child meal off the ticket. Waitress has asked the manager to come by and they never did-- which is fine. Nothing really for them to say or do. Must have been busy making sure other orders were bad ;) Still, with just the salad, one beer, and a 4.99 side of fries, the ticket was... 31 bucks. I still feel we paid too much. A very fun, kitschy place in Gainesville. The place has a great selection of Ford wearables and collectibles. There are also restored antique Fords displayed throughout. We were seated on arrival and our server, Sebastian, arrived nearly as we were seated to see if we needed anything while we were reading the menu. He returned with water and took our drink orders and answered our questions about the menu I had the Thai Chicken Salad with peanut dressing, incredibly delicious. My wife order the Chicken Cob Salad, which did not seem the shrink in size. She ended up taking at least half home. My brother in-law went for the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. And his wife the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both were substantial meals. Sebastian continued to be very attentive throughout our meal. The experience was completely on point. The menu was uninspired with some car-themed words thrown in. The service was one step above Cracker Barrel. We asked several times for a refill on the tea. Atmosphere was cold and loud, though they seated us (a couple) in front of the door--not an intimate setting for a date. The Firestone shrimp were fresh, juicy, with a creamy buffalo sauce. Nothing creative, but they were cooked perfectly and I would order them again. The Black-N-Bleu burger was mediocre and contained a foreign object. The patty was thick, a touch dry, and unseasoned. Not enough bleu cheese to taste great. On my second bite, I bit into an extra plastic medium-well stick, very scary! If I swallowed it, I might've had internal bleeding. The manager assured me she will coach the grill team, and offered to comp my meal. I feel she really should've done more, since I could've been in the hospital ER tonight with a massive bill. Was really excited for this new burger joint in town, but was sadly pretty disappointed. Ordered the High Octane burger but with chicken - sounded good with chipotle ketchup, romaine, tomato, onion, and fre jalapeños. However, it sadly didn't make the cut. It took more than 45 minutes to get our burgers, and when they came out the food was honestly pretty cold. The best part of our meal were the tater tots and the creamed corn with jalapeños. Maybe the beef burgers here are worth it, but for someone that doesn't eat beef, the alternatives are sadly lacking. Obviously, take my opinion with a grain of salt as I'm knowingly reviewing a burger joint, and didn't eat the burgers. That all considered, the venue itself is cool and well decorated, lots of TVs. Dined in and it was a much better experience than in the past. It was but understaffed for a Saturday lunch they had the bartender waiting and taking orders outside the bar. This was hands down the best burger I have ever had! We were looking for somewhere with a good burger that we hadn't tried and we found Fords Garage!! We had a group of 5 and everyone was blown away by the flavor! I had the estate burger and it comes with all kinds stuff on it so I won't try to name them all. I uploaded photos of the menu so feel free to check them out! My wife and sister in law both had burgers with brisket and my brother in law had a pulled pork sandwich. We also had the buffalo chicken dip and it was amazing also. You can't miss with this place! The only complaint I have is the service could have been a lot better. We asked for refills and our server stopped at the next table and took orders and forgot our refills. She then did the same exact thing the next time we asked and forgot them again. Not a great experience. Had a reservation for 6:30. Got there and was told it would be an hour till we were sat, even though we had a reservation. Complained to the manager who was trying to help, and yet arguing that it wasn't their fault they were unprepared for how busy it was on a game day and parents' weekend. Got sat after about 25 minutes, and would have been way longer if I hadn't complained. Then we ordered and the server said it would take "a really long time" to get our food because the kitchen was backed up. He was right. Basically it took over an hour from getting sat till we had our food. Such a shame for a restaurant to be run so poorly. They lose out on the revenue, servers lose out on tips by the tables not turning over, and guests have a bad experience and don't want to come back. No ownership of the short comings by management. Decided to take my wife here for lunch this past weekend. When we arrived, they were on a short wait of about 15 minutes, which wasn't long. The place had a lot to look at, but was loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation. Our server, Dylan, greeted us promptly and took our drink order. We asked for a little time, because this was our first visit. About two minutes later, Dylan returned and asked if we were going to get any appetizers and we again asked for a more time. For the record, we do like to be rushed, so we automatically decided we would not order any appetizers. After deciding on our orders, we motioned for him to come back and placed the order. My wife had the brisket burger with tots and I ordered the full rack of ribs with fries and a side of mac-n-cheese. The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. My wife enjoyed her burger and tots, but as for myself, I requested fresh fries as they seemed either overcooked, or left under heat lamps too long. Dylan said he would get another order for me, which came out a couple minutes later. The ribs had a funny taste to them with bbq sauce which was cooked on them and then saturated before leaving the kitchen. Instead of bothering Dylan again, I just scraped the loose sauce off. As for the mac-n-cheese, it had very little cheese and did not have much of a memorable taste to it. During our meal, Dylan must have checked on us about six times, which was good. Before ordering I asked if they had a military discount and they did, but when the check was brought, Dylan forgot to add the discount. Here's the thing. It's a heavily themed burger joint based off a Ford Motor. I surely wouldn't think that makes for the most exciting theme but I was pleasantly surprised. They did an excellent job even down to the bathrooms and usually with a theme this heavy I expect the food to not shine at all. While it's not the best burger I've ever had it's the kind of place you might take your parents and they'll have a good time. Where do I even begin? The restaurant closed at 11 pm, and we arrived about an hour before closing. Unfortunately, they were out of several items--no Michelob Ultra draft, no nachos, no ribeye steak, and no Monte Cristo sandwich. Out of the five of us, three had to find alternative food options, and one person didn't order at all. How do you run out of nachos? And a Monte Cristo--it's a fried sandwich, how is that not possible? To make matters worse, our server, Tania, didn't check in with us after our food was delivered, and it was cold. We had to ask for more drinks, including beer (which is a pretty obvious money-maker). When a restaurant falls short on so many items, you'd think the manager would come out to apologize, right? But no--Manager Cindy had the server relay the bad news, even after we were already told once about the missing items. As someone visiting from out of town and never having been to a Ford's Garage before, this was a terrible experience. I definitely don't recommend this place. Got lured into ordering with DoorDash after viewing some videos of this restaurant ( The one that they went to was in Orlando) I ordered exactly what they had. Cost me over $ 130,- and I can assure you what I received did not look anything like the food in the video. And they left out half of my order. The burgers were disgusting and the tater tots were beyond bad...someone in the kitchen dropped the shaker of salt n the food. They left out my burger, fried and pretzels. Door dash was useless as usual and got frustrated with their orchestrated "I'm sorry" I called the restaurant and got Amanda who was lovely and sympathetic but unfortunately also could not help me.
