This place was a joke! We couldn't see a thing because the lights were out where we were sitting. Eating in the dark wasn't exactly enjoyable, it was more like a weird camping trip gone wrong. I asked about it and was told they couldn't do anything. The food was probably okay, but who knows when you can't even see it? Definitely won't be back. Sucks that my potential father in law received the wrong drink and was still charged for it despite sending it back and getting nothing in return. Just paid our bill and left. read more

I went with a group of 6. We were stuck way in the back behind the fire engine. There was room for only one leg so I sat with one leg on top of the other. The seats were horribly uncomfortable. I ordered a frozen pina colada. It came out 30 min later and it was orange not white like everywhere else. It tasted terrible so I sent it back. The second one came out in 15 min and it was still orange and horrible. I sent it back and had water. My hamburger was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our service was adequate. This is a 3 1/2 Star restaurant. Between good and very good. It's part of a chain that is relatively new and we've been to a few other locations. This branch here is new to the outlet mall. It's not the easiest to find, but worth driving around til you do. We like sitting at the bar. As in the other ones like it, there is an iced strip around the inside bar edge where you can put your beers (or drinks) and keep them very cold. They're known for their burgers and that's what we ordered. The food was good once we got it. I'd asked for well done fries and as it was being delivered, I saw that they weren't well done so I sent them back to be redone. Once I got them they were perfect -- hot and crispy. I like the make your own variety -- you can build your burger with whatever you wish. I opted for the angus beef with mushrooms and no bun just lettuce. They also have veggie burgers. You can add your choice of veggies (lettuce, tomato, and onion are free) and/or cheese and/or other add ons (there's a long list) and even choose the type of bun or none at all. You pay separately for each added item. It's a good option for lunch and a better choice than the food court when at a mall. read more

Second time visiting Ford's Garage and this experience was not good at all. I don't typically leave bad reviews, but the service and quality tonight was bad. It was a long wait, our server was nice but got our drink order wrong twice, our food took over 40 minutes to come out once ordered and paying the bill was a disaster as well. I tried to pay with the QR code on my mobile device because our server was very busy and wasn't coming by. After it said fully paid, she came by and said I had to pay again with my card since it hadn't gone through. I'm pretty sure I paid twice and when I asked to speak with the manager, all I got was a business card with his name on it. Not to mention my burger had soggy bacon and bad lettuce. I came by for lunch and was happy to see there was no wait. Last time I came by it was an hour wait so I passed. I got some onion rings as an appetizer. They were big, breaded bread crumbs, and deep fried. They came with a smoky ranch sauce which was very good. I tried to create my own burger but was quickly in burger envy when my burger showed up and I saw my wife's. Stick with their suggested burgers because they will have more toppings that are made for each other. I just got cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and smoky ranch sauce on a pretzel bun. It was good but the bite I took of my wife's was estate burger was way better. I liked the car inspired décor. We haven't been here since the hurricane last year in October. We forget how great it was. The service was fantastic and our waitress Nadia really helped us out tremendously. We're huge fans of Ford's Garage. We primarily frequent the downtown Fort Myers location and the Estero location in the Miromar Outlet complex. The food is always great and we've never had a single complaint. The burgers, I think, are the best in the SWFL!! We have also tried the nacho's and Firestone shrimp, both are very good. They serve a 1/3 pound burger that is perfect for a late lunch or if you are not too hungry.. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. read more
