24 February 26 Yeah , decided to grab a bite at Ford's Garage ( restaurant ). Sure the place was packed. A 30 minute wait ensued. Upon being notified that a table was available we were seated and given menus to peruse. Being as I wanted mom's meatloaf and my friends didn't know what to order , we all ordered Mom's meatloaf. This place was filled with customers with some hanging outside. It is so loud here that I think I won't be back until my hearing returns. We started off with a Tower of Onions , sauce on the side. Very good. The meatloaf arrived with our sides of mashed potatoes and sweet potato tots. Obviously, no room for dessert. The food was good. The ambiance loud. Prices not too bad. I love this place. There is garage parking close by. The food is always on point. They have a burnt ends sandwich. I have tried it once and liked it. I had my sister-in-law with us on this visit, and she ordered the burnt ends sandwich and stated it was the best sandwich she ever had. Hmm, it was good, but? For this visit, I ordered their "American Burger". Bet you guessed it had American chees,e right? To use a Pulp Fiction term, "It was a mighty fine burger". The server was handling too many tables, so our service was not the best. Is that her fault or the business's? Their Bison Burger is perfectly done to my rare wants and so delicious and juicy. I was so excited to eat it I forgot to take the picture. I had their Bavarian pretzels for an appetizer and as always they are absolutely delicious. The one here in Fort Myers is my favorite one, the staff is always pleasant and the service is always great. Although the ambiance is definitely cute with the cars and the nozzles in the bathrooms it's totally cool and different. This a cool restaurant based on the Ford brand of cars. All of the employees are both helpful and friendly. From the time you enter to the time you leave everyone is all smiles. I love restaurant where the servers know the menu and can genuinely answer questions and offer suggestions. Going in, the ambiance is sick as there's all sorts of old Ford Memorbilia from car drying towels, clamp folded napkins, model T on the bar ceiling, tire bowls, and more! Today we ordered for our meal(s) 1x french onion soup, 1x ahi tuna plate, and 1x bbq brisket burger. Going into my review; the food was AWESOME! The French onion soup could've been tad cheesier, but broth wasn't too salty and had just the right pack of carmalized onion flavor and sherry! The ahi tuna tasted fresh and savory; nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors from the slaw, ginger, and that soy dipping sauce! The star of the show to no one's surprise was the burger. The bbq brisket burger had that clean chuck taste; tender chunks of hickory brisket and crunchy onions/bacon to contrast! Moreover, service was friendly and attentive! Overall, for a burger franchise, this is place is special and we'd be definitely eager to come back to try the other combinations. My final verdict is 5/5 stars! read more

Super fun bar. The decor is on point with the theme. Ford cars with Firestone tires :) I ordered mashed potatoes, green beans, and tomato basil soup. Fiancé had ribs with broccoli and the house salad. Everything was excellent. Green beans were cooked perfectly, BBQ sauce had a good flavor. There's an ice strip at the bar to keep your drinks cold! Not one of those sad, greasy frisbees pretending to be food--no, this thing had flavor, like it was crafted by someone who's seen a cow in real life and knows what seasoning is. Cooked to order, fresh, and not just "hot meat from a grill," which is unfortunately the low bar a lot of places shoot for these days. The cheese? Not just melted--emotionally supportive. Like it showed up just to make the patty feel more confident. Beautiful. I went with the regular fries (solid, classic), but my wife went full gourmet with the truffle fries. And let me tell you--those things should be illegal. I'm not saying they're laced with anything, but if I start scratching my neck and whispering "you got any more of those fries?" you'll know why. I knew nothing about this place walking in, and now I feel like I need to write a thesis on its connection to Fort Myers history. My wife even bought a shirt--because apparently this is not just a burger joint, it's a lifestyle brand. We're officially Ford's people now. If we're within 50 miles of one, we're stopping. I almost walked out as no one was stopping by the table to greet me or take my order. After 10 minutes I was able to order a drink. Was delivered the incorrect drink. It was probably another 10 minutes before I could place my food order. Had a question about something on the menu and was just told it is that way and I could order it that way or find something else. Did not see the waitress again until they tossed the check on the table and walked away. It was another 10 minutes before they returned for my card, which I had ready when they tossed the check on the table. Funny thing is upon looking at the reviews on here, my waitress was called out specifically about their lack of presence and service by someone else. Seems they are uncoachable or do not care. Updating and affirming my 6-year old review. My wife and I stopped in tonight for dinner, and found a seat at the bar as the outdoor area was full, and the indoor seating was also pretty packed. Bartender got our drink orders right away and we perused the menu. The menu is (obviously) updated since my last review, and was straighforward, and has a TON of options. Without realizing it, my wife ordered The Roadster (sans bun and cheese), which was what she got previously. Still tasty and nicely adorned with veggies. She went for the tasty green beans for her side. I got the Chicken Chop Salad. It was a nice chicken breast on top of a good mix of garbanzo beans and veggies. Tasty and reasonably healthy choice. Drinks were good and the frozen rail on the bar to keep things chilled is a nice touch. Food came out in a reasonable time and staff was efficient. Yes I definitely recommend this place! They gave you a lot on your plate which I feel is unusual for Florida. The tater tots with a side of caramel for dipping was INSANE!!!!! The waiter was super friendly and always came back to check on the food and how we liked it. I got a grilled cheese sandwich w bacon but the white bread was enormous! The decorations of the ford trucks all over was a sight to see. This place I would recommend to parents w children and to those who just want a place to call your own and visit for a great drink too..nice huge bar too!!! Great spot in downtown Fort Myers with very friendly service and delicious food. We were walk-ins on a Tuesday night and were able to get a table outside on the sidewalk right away. It was perfect for people-watching. We mentioned to our server that we were in a little bit of a rush to get to the theater, and since the highway traffic had been so bad we were running late. And she accommodated us by quickly putting in our food and drink order at the same time. I tried the Blackened Salmon Salad which was amazing. The fish was firm and so tasty...I loved it! I did hold the bbq sauce and put the chipotle on the side because I am not a huge fan of spicy. Boy!!! These burgers are so juicy & delicious. The chipotle was the perfect amount of spice and I ended up using it along with a side order of ranch. They had a mix of inside and outside dining. Lots of sports going on at all the TVs so it's pretty loud. Dress code is causal. We had bachelorettes to families rolling in. We always enjoyed Ford's Garage but lately not so much. We went to the Cape Coral location about 2 weeks or so ago. We had family from out to town and another couple at a one table. We called ahead for a reservation and when we arrived they told us a 20 minute wait. Ok, so why make a reservation. When sat at our table, it was cold, stuck between the front glass door and bar. Also there was water all over the floor from a leak they said couldn't be fixed from the bar area. Everyone's food was less than the quality we come to expect. My son who was grateful for the treat even grumbled. My shake was basically flavored milk, I asked for a replacement. They came back and told me they've had problems all night with the machine and it was now not working. They removed the charge from my bill. We did not let it define our evening. Now just today My wife and I got a hankering for a good burger while we were across the river in Fort Myers. We stopped in the Ford's Garage downtown. We signed in with the hostess and in 10 minutes we were at a table. Great!...But oh woe is me. We decided on fish and chips for her and a full rack of ribs for me, we would share and still have left overs for later. Our food came in a timely manner but oh lord, the ribs fell off the bone, but were so overcooked. The meat was dry and tasteless. Yes they looked good, and even had a little sauce on them. When the waitress came by and asked how everything was I politely let her know. She offered to replace them but I had eaten 4 ribs myself along with some of my wife's french fries. By that time everything was sitting like a rock in my stomach. I thanked her but said no thanks. My wife's fish was also dry and tough but she was even more hungry and did not complain. We definitely had left overs, but I wasn't gonna eat them. I have to admit the ice water with lemon was satisfactory. I realize it is season here (snow birds and tourists) and things get busy, but guys we really need to do better than this. I will probably go back but it will be months away. On the ride home we decided for the price and quality of food, not service (that was fine), we will cook at home until demand slows down and they fix what needs to be fixed, and spend time watching the pot before serving the food. Juicy burgers, crisp bacon, good tots, my only food critique, I wish my fries would have cooked a minute longer. Unfortunately, our server KeiAnna is the worst server we've had in a long time. She got the drink order wrong, admonished us for switching chairs when delivering the food, ignored our request for silverware and napkins, we had to go find our own. With KeiAnna still MIA, we got up to find our own drink refills. KeiAnna eventually dropped off the check and pointed out the convenient tip selections printed at the bottom, (for me tips are earned by great service not the standard for taking my order and dropping off the check.) After fifteen minutes of waiting for her to collect payment, I went to the hostess for the third time in an hour and a half to ask where we check out. She was sweet, apologized for her coworker brought her manager back to me. Suddenly, KeiAnna appears out of the back runs to the hostess desk, interrupts the manager, Beth and says, well it was a shift change and I was brewing tea. On the bright side, there was the great atmosphere, good food, and cold drinks! Beth the manager was wonderful and the hostess was amazing! Good afternoon. My spouse and I visited Fords Garage location @ Miromar outlets for lunch today. The restaurant was not very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Our server, Sam, was highly professional and clearly passionate about her job. I ordered the pulled pork tater tots, which were quite delicious. My wife had the mouthwatering half rack of ribs. I must also compliment the vintage Model T Ford cars displayed throughout the establishment. Even the men's restroom had a unique touch. Overall, I would rate our visit today as 10 out of 10 stars.
