I went with a group of 6. We were stuck way in the back behind the fire engine. There was room for only one leg so I sat with one leg on top of the other. The seats were horribly uncomfortable. I ordered a frozen pina colada. It came out 30 min later and it was orange not white like everywhere else. It tasted terrible so I sent it back. The second one came out in 15 min and it was still orange and horrible. I sent it back and had water. My hamburger was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our service was adequate. Before my first official Yelp Event, the crew stoped by Ford's Garage. We had a good size party and they made space for all of us. Starting of with a few different appetizers, I have to say my favorite was the onion rings. Since I was with some new people that I have never met I side to eat smart (not wearing my food lol). Second time visiting Ford's Garage and this experience was not good at all. I don't typically leave bad reviews, but the service and quality tonight was bad. It was a long wait, our server was nice but got our drink order wrong twice, our food took over 40 minutes to come out once ordered and paying the bill was a disaster as well. I tried to pay with the QR code on my mobile device because our server was very busy and wasn't coming by. After it said fully paid, she came by and said I had to pay again with my card since it hadn't gone through. I'm pretty sure I paid twice and when I asked to speak with the manager, all I got was a business card with his name on it. Not to mention my burger had soggy bacon and bad lettuce. I came by for lunch and was happy to see there was no wait. Last time I came by it was an hour wait so I passed. I got some onion rings as an appetizer. They were big, breaded bread crumbs, and deep fried. They came with a smoky ranch sauce which was very good. I tried to create my own burger but was quickly in burger envy when my burger showed up and I saw my wife's. Stick with their suggested burgers because they will have more toppings that are made for each other. I just got cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and smoky ranch sauce on a pretzel bun. It was good but the bite I took of my wife's was estate burger was way better. I liked the car inspired décor. We're huge fans of Ford's Garage. We primarily frequent the downtown Fort Myers location and the Estero location in the Miromar Outlet complex. The food is always great and we've never had a single complaint. The burgers, I think, are the best in the SWFL!! We have also tried the nacho's and Firestone shrimp, both are very good. They serve a 1/3 pound burger that is perfect for a late lunch or if you are not too hungry.. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. read more

We were dropping people at the airport and thought this would be a nice place to finish their visit...walking in, everything looked good, nicely decorated, lots of TV's playing college football and not that loud inside. Hostess seated us promptly, then the wait for a waitress started and lasted about 10 minutes. 3 of us had burgers, 2 Americana burgers and one BBQ burger, the others person had the buffalo chicken sandwich. one got cold fries, the others got hot. overall no one was singing the praises of the food. We haven't been here since the hurricane last year in October. We forget how great it was. The service was fantastic and our waitress Nadia really helped us out tremendously. Being a close friend of Christy A. I felt at sometime in my Yelp career I need to post a bathroom picture. This was THE place for me to post that pic. Having spent my whole life selling automobiles I guess I just had to come here. Everything Ford(Fixed Or Repaired Daily or Found On Road Dead). OK what about the food? This is a burger place with some limited other items on the menu. I ordered the "American Standard" burger which comes with ready, for it? American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and a side of Fries. They will cook your burger to order which is nice to see this making a comeback from the mad cow scare years ago. I had mine medium and it was cooked perfect. There is an option for building your own burger but the price gets stupid high. Mrs. K. ordered the fish and chips. I cannot believe the size of the piece of fish they put on her plate. It was as big as her head:). And that is big. I must mention that this location is in a huge outlet mall named Mirormar Outlet. I escaped without having to shop because I lied to the wife and said I have to go home and use the restroom. Note I did use the restroom there but she must have forgot. :D. read more

My first trip to a Ford's Garage was back in August, I'm not a car fanatic, but I did enjoy the automotive themed decor. I originally discovered Ford's Garage on Yelp when my guy friend from Upstate NY (who loves cars) was coming to visit me in South Florida. We were staying on the west side of FL for a few days and I was looking for unique things to do and places to eat. We had visited the one at the Outlet Mall and also the one in Fort Myers during that trip, we all enjoyed both. I recommend checking to see if the bar has any happy hour specials. In the off season (summer), this establishment was offering $3 margaritas, but I'm not sure if they have that during peak tourist season (winter). I ended up with a green beer (Coors Light) on 3/17, that was also $3. I was up here the other day and went with my mom to grab a light bite to eat. I like that you can order a side salad and a side item for under $10. My mom went for the French Onion soup and a small salad, she enjoyed both items. I had a side salad and side mac and cheese ($3.99). The mac and cheese was just ok, a bit on the bland side. Ford's does seem to specialize in burgers, they have a good selection on the menu. I think this is a great place to take well behaved children, they will likely enjoy this unique establishment. Consider taking your friend or family member who LOVES cars, they will enjoy the ambiance here. Ladies, this is an excellent spot to send your man to (for a drink) if he needs a break from outlet shopping. read more

In fact the burger was so good, after my first bite I devoured it before I even thought to take a picture for Yelp. Highly recommend this place to anyone. I have been to both locations and for atmosphere I like the downtown one better but parking and getting to the place is challenging. The one at Miromar Outlet Mall is much easier to get to and park. The food is typical "bar fare" with everything I had was good. I like the food and drink specials and the local beers that they offer. Most recently I had the onion rings (big, crispy and great dipping sauce) and the Black and Bleu burger. I am a sucker for a good pretzel bun. The fries are served in a nice mini fry basket and were golden crispy, not at all soggy. It is a fun place to go to and I have not had bad service. read more

Made a quick pit stop to have a drink and something small to eat. After shopping at an outlet mall nothing sounds better than happy hour. Decor was pretty neat. Lots of cool auto related items. Bathrooms were super neat. Ordered some pork nachos and a happy hour $4 margarita. Nachos were nothing fancy but did the job. Nice portion size also. Table of 5 snacked on then. And it goes without saying that on vacation in Florida there is no such thing as a bad $4 margarita. Our group of 10 ordered for starters the fried pickles which were the beat ever.The pretzel side had a nice cinnamon hint again top notch. The shrimp(boom boom) had an awesome kick, some of the best I've had. Finally the onion rings were delicious. Not dried out but big and juicy, loved them. Ok so now dinner choices. Since there were ten of us I will just list off all of the selections.1 model A burger, 4 Estate burgers, 1 Chicken Henry, 1 Salmon, plain cheeseburger,Jiffy burger and finally chicken fingers and fries. I popped into Miramar's mall on my way home after a trip to Bradenton. I was pleased to discover a new place to eat - Ford's Garage - so I went inside. I sat at the busy bar (Monday lunch time) and ordered a burger and asked for lettuce instead of a bap - when it arrived the burger was sat on one lettuce leaf! not impressed, especially as they claim to offer custom made burgers. After asking for more lettuce (ie to surround the burger with so I could pick it up and eat it), I received a mini plate with three additional lettuce leaves. Oh well!.. The service was fast and friendly at the bar. I ordered a house merlot red wine which was 4 dollars within the happy hour special - nice enough except the glass was not too clean. The place was packed and full. I used the restrooms which were clean enough and enjoyed the fun and quirky sinks which are incorporated within a car tyre. I kid you not.. The bar area also had an old black Ford car hanging above the bar area. I did not take any photographs as I forgot my phone, so I apologise for that! The place is pleasant enough - not gourmet food, but if I shopped at Miromar again I would pop in again for a quick bite, but only for that reason and if it was lunch time. Incidentally there is not a lot of choice to dine whilst at the outlet - so this would explain imo why this place was busy! Also I heard conversations at the bar and also saw, that there were a lot of men supping beers etc, waiting for their partners to finish shopping, another reason why it is busy!!! read more

There were eight of us...we neglected to make reservations a day ahead...called and were told to call the next morning...we did, and we were treated very nicely during all the discussions. When we arrived, we were shown to a table, asked for more shade and again were treated extremely graciously. The burgers. and salads were terrific, as usual. Service was great!
