Also the only other company who agreed to have a look were those fellows in pink trucks and oh boy....they charged me like $90 to diagnose what system already self-diagnosed and the only assistance offered was cleaning flame sensor and advising me to keep sucking out the water case it overfills again. However the tech guy left me with same error I expected him to fix. I was very impressed that Carter had all the tools and knowledge to test the system and parts most likely to cause the issue and that the part was promptly ordered. I would prefer them to service our system simply because they know what they are doing and are professional when it comes to the long lost art of communication.

But overall I've become disappointed with their service. Customer service is null and void. I'm not even sure they have a customer service. I've been from sales associate, who was very honest seeming to the furnace installation guy. But now they have sent in an inspector to check the overall installation and safety. Not exactly OSHA but, not even sure who the guy works for? So he came in to look at and inspect the furnace in November. He did a thorough job, seemed to take his time, took a few photos checked for gas leaks, flame and air lines and leaks. He said when the flame kicks on it does so with a forceful whoosh.. I told him that yes...it is very noticeable and that it sounds like someone opening up the front door. At first it was scary and disturbing. At first, Right Now Heating and Air was very interested in our satisfaction with the unit. They called me (once) to see if everything was working good and up to par. I mentioned at that time about the forceful sound it makes when flaming up. They asked if I'd like someone to come check it out. I told them not at this time but possibly later. Now this inspector notices the issue and brings it up. The inspector also noticed that we don't have any carbon monoxide monitors. He promised that he would have Right Now Heating and Air bring us a couple of CO2 monitors when they come to fix the issue. It's now the end of December and I have not heard anything from them yet. I've texted 3 times asking them when they would be coming. They say "soon".

Tells me that I don't have a warranty and it's $116 every time he comes out. Wait, what? I was never informed about this. And again for what? There is the consumer protection act, Barlow's was required to tell he about the fees, because I don't have a warranty,bi have the right to have any company come out. Which is exactly what would have done. Luckily I record everything, so I will fe filing complaints with the state, the BBB, and any other agencies that I can.
