The lady who helped me over the phone was great and I was able to use my entire benefit. I used to go to For Eyes in MA for a number of years and my daughter still does. The woman optician that works there is extremely rude and unprofessional. She has no customer service skills. After a while i didn't trust that she would do a professional job when ordering my glasses. I decided to go elsewhere. I ask to see some price information and she got up with the paperwork and wouldn't let me write down how much the glasses would cost. Again, the woman optician that works there is horrible. Employees are rude, they usually keep you waiting. They incorrectly price they're products and act like the fault was on yours. They're very impatient. They constantly try to up charge you to get something you don't need. I could not more strongly recommend avoiding this place. Ricardo came off pompous and would not want to work with him. Please beware went there last year and and a good experience this time, I was totally overwhelmed not so much with the eye glass side but with the optometrist side he was very nice but I was given paper with no explanation was expected to insurance to cover entire than after bill was told I owed 29.99 for photos of my eyes what the heck why would I want to pay for eye photos have been there for the last years this never happened now this!! Oh heck no I'm I'm no predicament to pay for this and although it wasn't explained here we are!! Shameful I won't be back this is just not right!! WOW...my experience here has been nothing short of a joke. Today is 4/30/21....I ordered 2 pairs of glasses on 4/6/21. I got one pair on-time thankfully (that's the second star - I know only one, I can't give zero and i would on this one for sure). I was told a week, maybe 10 days for the initial order. Then I was told when I called asking about the whereabouts of my 2nd pair of glasses that someone would call me in an hour. No, that didn't happen. Not even the next day....I had to call - I was then told that at the end of last week my glasses would be there last Friday. Then I was called (they actually called) and they said it would be today instead, not last week. At that point, I really didn't care. Unfortunately, another broken promise as my glasses still are not here. And when I called today to ask (they were short-handed according to Angela) if my glasses were ready, I was treated with anger, stress, frustration and overall rudeness by Angela. I know work or life can be hard, but don't take it out on your customers. I live in the neighborhood and was looking for a place to spend my HSA $$'s, but never again. This place is awful. read more

Dr.Nicholas Krevatas has been my husband eye doctor for the pass 15 years and my doctor for the pass 5 years! We were so sad when he moved I had to get my eye exam by another doctor and it's completely different experience, We are so fortunate to have found him again! His amazing I'm sure ones my son is old enough he will start getting his exams by him . We definitely recommend him as he is trustworthy and passionate by his work. read more

I have thought long and hard before posting this review but I feel this could have been handled differently. Took my mom here for glasses since they were right up the block from me. HUGE mistake. The special they show is what we purchased and of course a few upgrades which we agreed to but felt it was still a good deal since she was getting TWO set of glasses for a great deal and insurance paid for a certain percentage. Waited over TWO weeks for both sets and one set was damaged. They obviously didn't check them. They said they could repair them. After another 3 weeks of waiting and calling i realized they weren't doing what they said they would do and I requested a refund for the set I never received which took about another 14 days to finally get someone to agree to this. They then shorted the funds on the return although they collected from my moms insurance company. They said the special was for TWO pairs!!! BUT! They failed to provide the 2nd pair ordered but made it our problem anyway. My mom is on a fixed income like most seniors and insurance limits to how much is paid for this item and Four Eyes clearly took advantage of ones time and money. This was beyond frustrating and inconvenient. read more

Dr. K is one of the kindest, most thorough and caring optometrist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My family and I will always see Dr. K for all of our needs. Dr. Krevatas is amazing! My family and I have been seeing him for more than ten years and there is no other doctor that compares to him and his wife. They were the only doctors that discovered the beginnings of my glaucoma and thanks to their treatment it has not gotten worse. I needed to set an appointment for an eye exam so I could use my vision benefits before the end of the year. I had called several optical places and all were booked or only had appointments in the middle of the day . I called For Eyes and they were booked as well but managed to get me at 4:30 on NYE. Dr. Krevatas was very thorough and took his time and explained everything to me clearly. He also told me my previous prescription was too strong, and ill fitting. When my exam was complete, I worked with Jason the store manager to decide my options on glasses and or contacts. Jason reviewed my benefits and helped me determine how to get the best bang for my buck. They have great deals on glasses too. (Definitely better than America's best who I used last year.) I wound up getting two great pairs of glasses for just a little more than I paid last year for one. I also ordered the contacts. I was very pleased with the overall experience and will continue to go there for my vision needs. I have already recommended them to several of my friends. read more
