Amazing doctors got me in and out very quickly good contacts gave me a healthy amount of trial contacts recommend them for everybody

I spent over $500 at Elios Optical's Flagler location on an eye exam, designer frames, and lenses. When I called with a simple question about my PD measurement, I was met with attitude, disrespect, and absolutely no effort to provide a solution. The person I spoke with, who appeared to be the doctor, repeatedly raised his voice, spoke over me, and would not allow me to explain my concern. Consider taking your money somewhere that values its customers and treats them with respect. Based on my experience, once the sale was made, customer service was no longer a priority. read more

These guys are great. They are easy to get to with plenty of parking and have a vast selection of frames of all types. All the staff are friendly and you can shop with no pressure. I have purchased several pairs of glasses from them and each time they were helpful and professional helping me select and choose a nice frame. They also have a doctor of optometry in the store should you need that. All in all, a good place for glasses. read more

This is a smaller, older building in Deerfield so it doesn't look like much on the outside. Because they're smaller, they always give great, individualized care. Antonio is always so sweet and helpful. The doctors do the exams remotely which is kind of cool because wise she can see the images and conduct the exam online after the office staff walk you through the typical eye exam process. Everyone is nice and friendly and they always try to get you the best deals when you don't have insurance. read more

Everyone was advising and helpful. Highly recommend! The staff was knowledgeable and patient

I called to see if they offered sunglasses repairs (simple repair), and when I came in the staff were nice. I wasn't expecting to be fixed within 5 minutes at no charge. Thanks for making my day today! :) read more

This will be my third set of Silhouette's, after some 18 years of the best service anyone could ask for. Everyone at Elio's Optical is tremendously helpful and courteous. And I'm trying the new IGREEN, loving them so far, with many compliments. Thanks to all, special mention to Steve, your the best. read more

This is the best eyewear shop I've ever been to with a huge selection and super helpful owners and employees with lots of experience. They are the "eyewear whisperers" who always seem to find the perfect rx sunglasses and glasses for me and I love shopping there. The inside is nicer than the stores at boca mall or south beach and they have every major brand and a lot more I've never ever seen- the only complaint is there's too much too choose from! Highly recommended A++++ read more

I have not had a good experience here. My eye exam and the doctor were fine, though she was out of the office sick and did my exam virtually. I would have appreciated a call to see if I was ok with this, but it that did not happen. Nonetheless, the exam was fine and I liked the doctor. My issue is with the retail side of the business. On more than one occasion, I went to the store to look at glasses. Most of the frames are behind the desks, so you can't look at them on your own. Each time, I had to ask for assistance, and each time, I was told I'd have to wait while they served other people. I waited, and waited, and waited. Eventually, I left. I have now tried at least 3 times to buy my glasses there. Do I need to make an appointment to look at glasses? If so, I'll go to LenCrafters - at least they look up when you walk in the door. read more

We have been going there for years. We love dealing with Steve because he is very knowledgable and we always have great results. Highly recommend this business! There is always a great selection of frames also. read more

Great eyewear store with a huge selection and very good prices. Very nice and helpful staff.

I visited on November 24, 2020. A lense popped out of my eye glasses and went missing. Since I liked the frames, I wanted to try to have the lense(s) replaced. I was a bit wary to go to any establishment initially, cause I thought it may cost a fortune. I was fortunately incorrect on this perspective. I entered and noticed that Manufacturer Direct Eyewear took significant precautionary measures for COVID-19, including taking patience's tempeture upon going into the building and enforcing social distancing. This was appreciated. I worked with Brenda, and told her my issues. She was friendly and professional. She checked with her supervisor and the first asking price was $50. I articulated that I was struggling fiscally and requested that they work with me. They said they can do $35 for this job. I felt that price was fair, so I said that I wanted to move forward. Brenda noted that it would be ready later that day or the following day, and she would text me when it was completed. Brenda gave me some price points on other services, and I got the impression it was a bit expensive. I received a text the subsequent day, and went in to pick up my glasses. I was provided my glasses in an acceptable amount of time. They were good as new, and they even gave me a nice soft case which matched the color of the glasses and a cleaning kit. I wish I went to this firm from the start. I actually went to Stanton Optical at first, and it felt like the McDonald's of eye care. I recommend Manufacturer Direct Eyewear. read more

Recently, I took in a prescription from my Ophthalmologist to have new glasses made. Unfortunately, they don't take my Insurance. However, their prices were better than what I had paid with Insurance at another place. They were so professional and really know what products are best suited for person's face. And, the glasses are made on site so you don't have to wait for weeks to get them. I had my new glasses within the week and have been wearing them ever since. I will be going here from now on to get my glasses. I HIGHLY Recommend. read more

I've been on this place since 2006, and it has outstanding customer services; loved the selections and brands they have there as well.

I've been a long time customer at Manufacturer Direct Eyewear and am so grateful they are only a few miles from me! The customer service is outstanding but what is more important (to me) is their honesty when it comes to choosing the perfect pair of glasses. I have worked with Rich for my last 3 pair of glasses. Not only is he honest, but we laughed a lot, too. I appreciate the honesty when it comes to wearing glasses. He and his co-workers know what works best and I trust their judgment. Rich was very patient with me. I think I tried on every pair of glasses during one visit. He maintained his sense of humor throughout. The prices can't be beat! Trust me, I've shopped around. I've learned that many places don't process or accept some eye insurances and I've NEVER had an issue here. If you see a frame you like in one of the hoity toity places about town, take a photo or get the frame model and take it in to Rich. I'll betcha he can get it for you at a lower cost. Thanks to all the great peeps here! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. read more

Dr. Francine is wonderful! Helpful, very knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure you are happy.

I have been purchasing my glasses from Manufacturer Direct Eyeware for at least the last decade and they are so diligent on the quality and fit of my lens's I wouldn't go anywhere else. The selection is abundant and if you cannot find something you like they will order it. They have replaced the lenses in my husband's sunglasses that were scratched up and fit them in the same day. I can't recommend this place enough!! read more

first time we have used Manufacturer Direct and we were very impressed with the professionalism of the team that we dealt with. the eye exams were scheduled and done in a very timely manner, Steve did an outstanding job assisting us picking out frames and when the glasses arrived he was very professional in fine tuning the fit of the frames. it's not often that we experience this level of service and would highly recommend them. read more

I trust the staff at MDE and have been coming here for some time now. My doctor suggested I try progressive lenses again. I tried in the laser without much success. Steve Hammer suggested that I try one of their state if the art lenses. I did and it worked out great. I thank them for their patients and care when dealing with my eyesight. read more

My wife bought a pair of glasses from these people and so I figured I'd try them. Went over there and had my ophthalmologists prescription with me, so all I needed was glasses and frames. There was a younger guy who waited on me first, he was pleasant but aggressively trying to upsell me a pricey bunch of stuff. Another older dude came over and backed off the hard sell, and got me pretty much what I wanted for what I wanted to pay--which was substantially less than what I had paid in the past. So I picked the glasses up and everything fit and it all looks good and I paid less and I'm happy. And I would go back. read more

I needed a simple repair on my sunglasses so used yelp to find local opticians. I picked this one based on reviews and while my repair was simple (nose pad fell out) the staff (Stephen I think!) were welcoming, took a look and fixed them free of charge. While this is a very simple review I now will give the optician a go as I have yet to find a really good one locally. read more

He was very patient and knowledgeable as I tried on a bunch of different ones. He would give me honest feedback since I rarely used glasses before which helped me find the best fit. Best of all, He helped me stay within my budget while picking the perfect pair for me. I am so happy with my purchase and definitely will be going back when I need to! Thanks again. read more

Very disappointed! I expected more customer service from the store manager. I feel that I was mislead. I called to make sure they were open during this pandemic. I was thankful they were. Walked in, Rich - store manage took care of us, my husband and I. He asked to look at my prescription and asked me where I got it from. I mentioned that I got my previous prescription from Costco. He shook his head and said I got what I payed for. He gave me a quote on lenses only and I asked if this was the best he could do, because it cost as much as the ones from Costco with brand name frames. Let me say that I am pro local businesses and being a business owner in the past I know that is very difficult to compete with the large retailers. Nonetheless you NEVER mislead a customer by giving a "discount" and switching to a cheaper product without notifying me, after letting me know originally that he has the latest technological lenses in the market. I got digital lenses which are 2mm thicker than the competition and plastic instead of polycarbonate. This was not our original agreement and he never said he was switching quality to get me a discount. Unfortunately you lost my business. I wish you had made the right choice to communicate. I would had payed the diference and been satisfied. Credit to Antonio, who explained all the differences and treated me much more polite then his manager. read more
