Bragging on this business again. They figured out the best deal for me comparing my insurance cost compared to their total cost for prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. It ended up being their deal saved me over $300 over my insurance. Then I lost the nose piece to my sunglasses and tried to replace myself unsuccessfully. They ordered me a whole new pair of prescription Oakley purple iridium sunglasses. FREE!! They do not stand behind the lack of quality in the work they do. I lost my only pair of glasses in the ocean and did a quick search for an optician/optometrist and eyeglass shop to get an expedited replacement. Argued with the optometrist re dilating my eyes for an eye exam. I gave in because she insisted that the dilation was absolutely necessary. Never had eyes dilated for a vision prescription since I was a teenager and the glasses that the prior eye doctor got for me were always perfect. After the exam was complete I was walked over to the eyeglass part of the business which was attached, and long story short the resulting glasses were awful and pricey (over $700) so I tried them for 60 days and then went back. The eye doctor scared me by saying that my prescription had drastically changed. Had to pay $200 more to get the glasses remade. They still suck. The optometrist told me that my cataracts must have gotten much worse requiring surgery. So I got a referral to the best Ophthalmologist in the county and he said yes I have cataracts but they are nowhere near ready to operate on. Shame on you, For Eyes!! After another year and continuous issues with the For Eyes glasses, I went to Beach Vision and saw Kevin Brantley and no dilation required, and he was able to share with me what he believes went wrong with For Eyes. I will be writing a review for Kevin and Beach Vision after my new glasses arrive. read more

I was told ,after my newly made progressive lens ,that my close up vision improved. Not new to wearing progressive lenses , I couldn't read my dashboard or prices on grocery store shelves unless I was 6 inches away. I don't like Bait and Switch scams and really don't like liars. One other customer in store. 2 clerks. Shows me where the woman's frames are. Sign says 24 with second frame 10. 35 lens sign. I picked a frame from this section. Single vision, no tints, clear glass nothing fancy 325. Then because no insurance 50 percent off, 175. that is almost 50% of 325. Then I see the line item for frames and it says 69. I mentioned that the price was not 24 and was told that the frame was just put in the wrong place. I go back to look at the other frames and 4 out of 5 that I picked up were 69 dollars. So truly they do not have the selection of 24 frames they profess to have. I heard ma'am what's wrong and I told them, I don't play the bait and switch games and promptly left, they kept trying to tell me the frames were just in the wrong place. That didn't fly when no empty spaces down the wall and you have 2 people there working with not much to do that could correct that if it was truly the case. The woman also did not keep the higher priced frames to move somewhere else, she put them back in the same spot. what does that tell you! Not reputable. read more

This was my second visit. Both times the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly, above all patience. I am a senior and not always quick on my feet with thinking, the staff gave me kind help throughout the whole process. Karen and Angelique helped me with my eye exam as well as picking a new pair of glasses. Not a easy task as I kept changing my mind. My second visit the optometrist was virtual, which was quite an experience! She was super nice, answered all my questions and had plenty for me. The other exams were done with the machines in the clinic part. My new glasses are so much better. The glasses are mailed to you on a later date. Very nice experience! read more

I went in for an eye exam at the request of my neurologist for migraines. He just wanted to make sure there weren't any underlying issues with my vision. I was not in need of a new prescription. I had to wait 50 minutes before being seen. The waiting room was packed. Once I was in the exam room it went quickly. I was able to read the chart on the wall without struggle and the tech said I was reading at 20/20. No new script was needed and I never received a refraction. History-I had purchased my sunglasses There over a year ago and prior to that I had purchased eye glasses from another provider. Well about a couple months later I get a bill for a refraction of $40. I called them and let them know I did not have a Refraction-my husband was with me so I am not nuts. History-My husband is a patient there and undergone surgery. After much back and forth they are telling me that I am responsible for the $40 for the refraction (which I never had). I am still at this time trying to point out to them that the very slight variation in the glasses were Due to different manufacturers. Ya know-I can afford the $40 but I don't like being billed for something I did not get. I will keep you posted. This is really bad business practice and apparently bad record keeping. They even have their own "rewards" card which will help to save some money too. They have a wide variety of frames for adults and for kids too. They have a wide range of lenses also for the more savvy folk. The best part- they have an independent optometrist at this location (Dr. Jason Iannarelli), who is excellant. I have not found great deals for my glasses at this store like Jackie indicated but then again I have complex prescriptions. My son and Daughter have also looked in this store but did not find the frame they wanted. That said the staff has always been very nice and I will continue to look when I am due for new glasses but so far not my place. read more

It's rare to find service and treatment this awesome. Dr. Belcher was friendly and very informative. I probably learned more about optometry as it relates to me personally than in all of my past exams combined. She, along with Mary and Tillie went out of their way to help me find the best deal with regards to price and quality for contacts and glasses. I went for an eye exam and to get protective wear for my job. Had some trouble with insurance, but the employees made sure to take care of me and fix any misunderstandings. I think the length they took to fix the misunderstandings were beyond what I'd typically expect from most stores or services. read more

I had a wonderful experience using FOR EYES of Daytona Beach Florida. They were very helpful and their product was very good. They were not expensive whatsoever. They also recommended their specials of buy one get one free.I thought it was a gimmick. Before I knew it , I was paying very little for a total of (4) pairs of prescription eyeglasses and the year supply of contact lenses.Two of the prescription glasses were reading glasses. I never usually spend the money for reading glasses. I usually buy the cheap ones at the drugstore etc. They offered me such a good deal that I own the first pair of prescription reading glasses in my life. I went to in ophthalmologist and he recommended I buy a pair of glasses from him. I got all the above mentioned glasses/contact lenses for the same price he tried to sell me one pair of prescription eyeglasses. (These glasses were for distance only). I am young professional who is on the computer all day and the optician said I needed reading glasses... I wanted a nice pair shaped to my face, as I will be wearing them 8+ hours a day in public.
