A special thank you to Macy (spelling?) for all of her help. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and really took her time with him. We never felt rushed or pressured. Not the place to come if you want generic gym or track garb, but rather athleisure and casual chic. Brands like Birks, Miz Mooz, Adidas, Vans, and a multitude of comfort-forward, cool shoes, sandals, slides, sneakers, and clogs. Thanks to sales associate Billy for helping me find something for my annoyingly high insteps. He's friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I'll be back -- thank you!

We spent a significant amount of money, and despite how excited and happy our kids were to be there, the customer service we received was horrible. Before we went in there were two ladies outside talking about how rude the lady inside was but we still gave it a chance. Man we regret it. The employee we dealt with was extremely rude and had a noticeable attitude toward us. She seemed hesitant to help us and made the entire experience uncomfortable. It was especially disappointing because we had six other kids who were excited to come back and shop there as well. Unfortunately, because of the way we were treated, we will not be returning. We are more than happy to spend our money elsewhere. Customer service makes a huge difference, especially when you have children who are excited to visit and enjoy the experience.

I'm updating my previous review because Abraham Baiza went above and beyond to make things right…read more During my first two stringing experiences, I unfortunately ran into quality issues, including one racquet that was missing a string. It was definitely frustrating, but Abraham took my concerns seriously from the beginning. He personally reached out, apologized, offered to restring my racquet free of charge, and even provided a gift card for the inconvenience. What impressed me the most was that he didn't just fix my racquet--he worked to improve the process. When I picked it up today, I noticed they now attach a label showing the string type, tension, date, and stringer. That tells me they're focused on preventing mistakes in the future, not just fixing one complaint. Every business can make mistakes, but not every manager takes ownership the way Abraham did. His professionalism, communication, and commitment to improving the customer experience earned my trust back. Thank you, Abraham, and the Sports Basement team. I'll definitely be back for future stringing and would recommend them to other tennis players.

This place is…read moresupposed to be like a Dick's Sporting Goods but with more variety of sports equipment and other related products. As well as better quality since it's like a private owned business and not a public one. The service overall was good at this place as the employees were helpful with guiding us to find stuff we were looking for. As well as helping my brother find a new bike for him to ride after his old one fell apart. When it comes to value that is where the problems set in as to why I am giving this place a 4/5. Lot of the stuff in this store is expensive and I do mean EXPENSIVE. It could be close to like 120 dollars for a pair of shoes which seems to be way more than most other retailers. And most of the other equipment could range up to 200-300 dollars as well which can make it frustrating to figure out what to spend your money on depending on the need. At least the store has plenty of equipment to choose from, as well as a range for you test stuff out and other useful features for equipment you want to rent. But I would only go here as a last resort if you can't go to a Dick's or find good pricing.

Fleet Feet has some cool shoes and gear, but I think the prices are high for what you're getting…read more The store does offer fitting tools and staff who can measure your feet and make recommendations, but in my experience, the tools are fairly "mid," and the knowledge base can be inconsistent. You may end up getting advice that's not much different from what you could find with a little research online, while relying on a sales associate with relatively limited training. I'd rather spend my money wisely: get footwear advice from qualified professionals such as running coaches, physical therapists, or doctors, then shop around for the best price at larger sporting-goods retailers that carry quality running shoes and gear and offer strong return policies. I also feel that there may have been some management turnover at this particular Fleet Feet. The service seemed noticeably better one or two years ago.

So I did. So glad I did! She again, took the time to call each of the stores that had the last pairs (2 pairs) to make sure they were available. Imputed me in the system. Gave me "free" shipping. And was so professional, kind, and curious, I was very impressed. This was on one of the busiest days (Mother's Day) and store was full of customers. What brought me back to memory lane was Converse high tops and the Stan Smith tennis shoes. Wow! These were my favorite shoes in the 70s, but at that time, everyone had to have them. We have progressed a lot in regards to quality and comfort, but those aforementioned shoes were functional, made well, and durable. As for the store, this boutique is really unique in that you wish you could buy one of everything. You can't say that about all shoe stores. They carry very nice shoes for the inventory they have. My wife bought a very nice purse. Typical of her buyer remorse mentality, she didn't like the color of the first one she took home. No problem, the friendly staff accepted the return (made easy since she just bought it a few days earlier and had a receipt) and she returned it for the same purse, but in a different color.
