It's something about this particular location that rubs me the wrong way. 1 being how the staff is not helpful to you. 2 being that they selectively greet customers at the door based upon their skin tone. I'm sure a lot of people were excited to see a new Nike store pop up in the area. It's definitely a nice addition to the exception selection in the center. Even though the glitz is nice the overall experience at this new location is a let down. The overall shoe selection here is mediocre. There's a handful of shoes for men and women and that's it. There's a decent collection of active wear but not too much casual outfits. It would've been nice if they were able to expand the store and have an upper level so they can really showcase all their product. The customer service is slow. I don't necessarily think it's the in store staff's fault but it's the management planning. When I went on a weekday the store only had 2 staff working the entire place. So even with 3-4 customers in the store they were already overwhelmed and took a long time to assist you. read more

I was very disappointed of this store's customer service. I have never had any problems with Nike. EVER. I'm usually very satisfied with Nike's employees and policies everywhere EXCEPT in this store. It shocks me how different this store acts compared to others. The attitude of their employees, especially the manager; Benji who's not only arrogant, uncooperative but also has a major lack of customer service is unacceptable. No wonder the employees act this manner when their superior is putting on such an arrogant example. I came to the store trying to return a pair of shoes based on their 2 year manufacturing policy, which I have done multiple times even at this store, they basically ridiculed me and my sons in front of the others customers and the employees present. I immediately call Nike and sent me an email directing me how to return the shoes in the store and asked me to call them if they would not do it, the minute I walked to the store the sales person got in a conversation with his manager Benji and refused to accept the return EVEN WITH THE EMAIL AND BARCODE showing I can do it in that store, the manager got out and told me this time is under the manager discretion to allow a return and he wasn't going to accept it. At this point I knew he wasn't acting out of arrogance and necessity to prove to his employees he wasn't wrong. I went to the Berkeley store, about 25 miles to continue with the return and at this store the workers attitude was sooo much different to the ones at the San Ramon store, very helpful, happy and with excellent customer service. They successfully process my request and processed my refund/exange and bought other shoes for my other son. I hope NIKE management reads this reviews and train THIS store's employees to be more charismatic and have better customer service. read more

I can see why this place has only 2 STARS... Went in and wanted to buy 2 pairs of shoes. I'm a huge sneaker head so I'm an easy sell. I'm standing there for like 4-5 mins holding shoes to try on and the sales reps are just standing there not helping anyone - non-busy Tuesday - empty store. Buncha guys just literally standing there purposely not helping people....all employees at this store must be RICH cause they sure don't care to sell product. This Nike store is located in a suburban area of San Ramon. When I first entered the store nobody greeted me and the two ladies seemed to have a bad attitude. Definitely not the kind of people you should be hiring to work as customer service!!! I almost walked out and took my business elsewhere. Nobody asked if I needed help or anything. This store is way too nice for the customer service to be this terrible. The ONLY reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because a gentleman by the name of Donnie finally came over to assist me and he was very friendly and sweet. He helped me find the shoes I was looking for and saved the day. If it weren't for him I would have left. Also be warned this location does not have a wide selection of women's shoes and they don't have kids shoes. Please work on your customer service and have a friendlier approach to your customers! Drove all the way here to return an online order and they didn't want to scan the barcode. Manager doesn't seem to know the return policy. Had to ask to scan several times, and when they did, of course they can take it. Smh read more

This place is so small, I had to go outside to change my mind. There is a good selection of running shoes for $160. A white tee shirt is $30, and a hooded sweatshirt is $100. The staff are very nice, and the store has good lighting. read more

I was disappointed that they don't honor their own discounts from the Nike app. I have one discount for 15 percent for in store purchases and one for 10 percent for my birthday month. Cashier would not offer an adjustment, so I returned the shoes that I purchased just one minute prior. I wanted to be a customer at this store, but the smug attitude has really turned me off. read more

Don't waste your time going to this store. Customer service is terrible! I originally went in just to get a gift card, and decided to try on a few shoes. One girl tried to help me, but every time she went back to get me a pair of shoes she got stuck at the register. Two other employees were just wandering around doing nothing. Both saw me just standing there, waiting, and no one even bothered to try and help me. I was looking to buy two pair of shoes and ended up just getting the gift card. Disinterested employees who don't care about their customers. I'd rather shop online and deal with online returns. It's way easier! read more

Customer service here is atrocious. Seriously. I work in retail management and I literally use the Nike store at Bishop Ranch as an example of what NOT to do. If you're going to work in customer service, having a set of basic social skills might be a good idea. Be friendly. Be helpful. Acknowledge your customers.... Things like that go a long way, but the team at Nike Bishop Ranch offers little more than passive eye contact. It's just bad business overall. Hopefully they get someone in there soon to figure it out because I guarantee this place is loosing a lot of money as a result of the bad attitudes of the team members in their building. read more

Was very excited for Nike to be at City Center. But store is smaller than expected therefore selection of inventory isn't the best. However more disappointing than that is the customer service. Been there handful of times thinking it will get better but no. Today Niela helped me at the counter - ever heard of greeting the customer when they walk up to the counter instead of continuously chatting with a co-worker??!! She also haven't been taught that a smile goes a long way and not to be still talking to the co-worker we hope helping a customer. Ok...I can chalk it up to the fact that she's young and maybe not that experienced in sales then it's on Nike to train them better. Tired of going to these stores to get mediocre service!! read more
