The service at Foothill Auto Body is great. Everyone so friendly and accommodating. I was referred to them by the gentleman who hit my car. I got two other estimates one was $400 more the other a few dollars less but I really liked how I was treated during the estimate process plus the recommendation. They told me 3-4 days to complete the work and my car was ready in 3 days but they had no problem keeping my car for me one more day. These folks even called the rental car company for me the day I dropped off my car!! The work they did was flawless! No way anyone can tell there was ever a dent and scratch on the side big my car. Thanks!!!!! I do have one complaint which is a pet peeve of mine and it happens at the car wash, when I take my car tone serviced and when I valet park and that is they move my seat. I've never understood why this happens when someone is driving the car fir like two minutes. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I was told that to replace the fender it would cost 700 dollars. I explicitly asked if this was the final price and they said yes, if the price changed it would only go up about 50 dollars at most, but they believed that would be very unlikely. I received a call a day later telling me that it would be at least another 300 dollars because of some plastic that broke, and I would find out the true final price once they were done. I told them to stop work on my car and put it back to how it was because now the price had jumped from 700 dollars to 1000+ dollars, and it wasn't worth it for me to fix. When I came to pick up my car they gave me the keys, only for me to find that they hadn't put anything back to how it was before. My car was now missing a fender and various other parts of the car that were thrown into the backseat of my car where I will now have to fix all the scratches. I literally could not drive home without being in danger, according to a worker there. Summary: Ryan will lure you with an attractive price that he will insist is the final price, he will then call mid-job telling you that the price actually changed because of stuff they couldn't foresee, and then when you ask for it to be canceled, he will not only yell at you, but they will ruin your car, in an attempt to force you to fix it at their prices. Overall it's a complete rip-off, don't fix your car here. read more

I recently got some slight damage to my bumper when someone hit and parked on my bumper. I needed a few estimates for insurance purposes and Foothill Auto Body was the 4th place I came, and it turned out to be the worst by far. I go in and they were busy but the estimator, Ryan, came out to see me almost immediately. He was nice, not the genuine nice...but the " I'm obligated" type of nice. As we walk to my car I asked him if it's possible to fix the small scratches & scrapes with out doing the whole bumper. What's his response? An analogy to nail polish. WTF? Yes, I'm female...but I think I can comprehend without having to relate paint on a car bumper to nail polish. "Easiest way to make women understand how the bumper has to be fixed," that is how he ended his "explanation." As he looks at the bumper, we discuss why I need the estimate. I tell him about the older gentleman hitting my car and offering to fix it. As we walk back he says the cost will most likely be around $300 and/or up to $400. By the time he is done typing up the estimate the price has risen to over $500. Really? It's so obvious he was milking the situation. Ryan obviously saw a young woman who doesn't know any better and tried to be slick. If only he knew that I had been to 3 other places and all of them gave far lower estimates and explained EVERY single cost, and every single place was charging for the same things. This place, however, had a bunch a random work added on that were not needed. It's safe to say I will not be giving any business to this place. read more

This is my 3rd time I have taken my car to Foothill Auto Body. It will probably be the last. The work is good; however the front desk ladies are so unhelpful. They are a bit rude and when I come in the door they ignore me. When my car was finally ready they called the wrong phone number to tell me my car was ready, even though I have told them many times my correct phone number. Dennis was very nice; but the front desk just seem so disorganized. Hopefully I don't need to have work done in the near future. I really over this experience. read more

Me and my family have been here combined atleast 3 times over several years and each time gets worse and worse. The first time I needed a bumper and fender replaced and it was fine and mostly indistinguishable the first time. The second time my door and fender were smashed but this time the work was terrible. They just pulled out the door panel and then repainted it, but the sheet metal was obviously wavy and on top of that the orange peel was horrible. I complained and all they did was try to sand the clearcoat down. The sheet metal was still wavy. The first review reminds me they also put a slight ding in the trunk I KNOW was not there before. After that I just said forget it and did not go back. My parents also had work done here replacing a bumper and the new bumper did not align correctly with the fender. Only because they did an ok job the first time i did not give them one star. I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I took my truck to foothill auto body after somebody hit my truck as it was parked near by my apartment. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take them to fix the extreme damage as a result to the collision. They had my truck fixed in about 3 weeks which i was thankful for because of the fact that i had to get a rental vehicle during that time. When i finally got my truck back, i had noticed it wasn't fixed to my satisfaction. I called them and told them they that i was not satisfied with the work. They happily told me to bring it back in so they can fix it to my satisfaction. I had to leave my truck in the shop for a few days, they put me in a rental vehicle at no cost to me! The customer service is excellent, and they fix vehicles like new at well balanced timely manner! If you are not satisfied, foothill auto body will definitely take care of you. Ok so the Downside.. Do not leave anything valuable in your car at all! Even things that really are not that desirable! Im disappointed to point out that one of the mechanics stole my jacket which was in the backseat of my truck. (Who steals another persons coat)?! Anyways, now the sign in the very front office that clearly states "not responsible for lost or stolen items" is a little strange to me.. Congrats, you just basically gave your workers in the back free reign to go through peoples things without consequences. When I confronted them that i was missing my jacket in the backseat and that i was 100% positive it was back there, their response was that, "they would keep an eye out for it." (Like as if it was a lost pet that would eventually find its way back). At least check your cctv for any signs of suspicious activity! In due course, I really wanted to give foothill auto body more stars, because in all retrospect they did a really great job and really took care of me!! I guess I'm just super sad that somebody stole my button up jacket..I guess somebody in the back needed it more than i did.. read more

I have had two recent fender-benders where other people backed into my parked car. So, in just two months, I have had two experiences with Foothill Autobody. Since both were paid out-of-pocket, I price shopped for the less expensive repair shop. Foothill Autobody was 20% less expensive than Calliber Collision. Their office staff are very kind and helpful. Getting scheduled for the repair work was a breeze. The gentleman that handled both of my quotes and oversaw the repairs was Ryan. Ryan is very personable, extremely thorough, and very easy to deal with. Calliber takes up to an hour to give you an estimate. Ryan had mine in about twenty minutes both times. He is great with communication, with regular updates on my car's progress. The repair work was spot on. No complaints about the outcome. My car looks better than it did before the accidents. If I ever (God forbid) get hit again, I will absolutely be taking my car back to Foothill Autobody. read more

I was referred here by my sister who has had work done on her truck. It always looks great! I had some oxidation above my headlights and someone side swiped one of my fenders, and popped out a light. Of course I had to get the accident fixed, but I asked how much extra it would be to get the oxidation fixed. It was within my budget, so I went ahead and did it. You walk in and are surpirsed to see a level of professionalism unexpected of this type of buisness. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I was in and out of there in no time. No hassle, just great service and major acomidation. Their prices seem very reasonable. Not only that, but when I went to pick up my truck with its new bumber and door handle, my truck had been vaccumed and wipped down on the inside, and the tires and rims seemed to have been wipped down as well. Attention to detail is always a really nice suprise. You can tell they take pride in what they do and thats just an added bonus.
