I chose this auto glass company to save about $10, and it was absolutely not worth it. During the windshield repair, the technicians said the hood needed to come off. After the job, my hood could not be reinstalled. I later discovered that the hood hinge mounting bracket had been cut with a grinder, instead of simply unbolting the hood as is standard practice. I want to be very clear: I did not remove the hood. The owner and employees later claimed that I removed it myself, which is not true. Their workers removed the hood and handed it to me over my fence. The hinge was cut after the hood was already off, for no apparent or necessary reason. Because of this damage, I now have to: Buy a new mounting/hinge part Remove the headlight and fender to install it Spend far more money and time than I ever saved by choosing this company The damage did not exist before their service, and the explanation I was given afterward was inconsistent with what actually occurred. I reached out to the owner in writing, but instead of accountability, I was met with denial and false claims. Saving $10 was not worth the permanent damage, added repair costs, or the stress of dealing with this afterward. I would strongly caution others to think twice before using this company. **. Again I'm told I something I watched with my own eyes didn't happen. ... remember if you use this company that you were warned. read more
