There were several areas that my boyfriend noticed his therapist addressed that mine did not, which stood out since I've had deep tissue massages elsewhere where those areas are typically worked on. It was later in the day as that was when they had the availability for us and so I can understand their fatigue a bit. It seems like it has many caveats from places that accept it. You can only use it for full-peice services, and you can't book a package of services or seasonal specials. Everyone was very nice, and though you can purchase a membership, I loved that it was very low pressure. It actually seems like a good deal that your services can be rolled forward, and can be combined for a larger service. I'm just not a subscription person. I booked an hour massage and a facial. The facial was very thorough and relaxing. The massage was also great, but ended really quickly. When I got dressed and walked to the desk, the gal apologized, as she didn't realize that I had booked an hour. She said I could go back in and get another 30 minutes, but I was already put back together. No thanks. As I checked out, I was also given a cute little facial gift bag, with a nice smelling cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Nice touch. I had a decent service. I'm on the fence about this place. As requested, I arrived a bit early for my appointment in order to fill out informational health paperwork. After completing the paperwork, Pilma asked questions about any concerns and areas that needed focus, what type of pressure, etc., which I informed her about. She kindly assisted me to a therapy room with that was very tastefully decorated with various pieces of art, subdued lighting and soothing music which provided a very calming atmosphere. Her nicely padded treatment table is the most comfortable I've ever been on and I was able to breath easily while on my stomach and importantly, I didn't experience any back pain from being on the table after my session. During my treatment, Pilma was very careful massaging and stretching me; she frequently inquired about my pain level (I have Osteoarthritis) and the pressure level she was applying. Not once during my massage, did she cause me to flinch in pain as she was very much in tune with her observations which I very much appreciated. My massage session with Pilma, who was so kind and compassionate, was up before I knew it and she helped me sit up and also offered me a cool bottle of water and recommended to drink plenty of fluids the rest of the day. From my very positive experience with Pilma today, I can see why she has so many wonderful customer reviews. She did not offer a refund or a free session with a different therapist to rectify the situation. Be careful not to support businesses that only care about money and not their customers. Two days after: The owner refunded me $50, since I asked the therapist to please shorten my session from 90 minutes to 60 minutes while I was on the table. The therapist took me in a bit late, but it was an honest mistake as she had confused the time, and I had something to do afterwards so I wanted to be sure I wouldn't be late for that.

The actual massage was wonderful for me except that my feet were not massaged which I believe should have been part of the full body massage. My daughter's massage was mediocre. We asked for the same massage experience but I received a full head massage with what felt like a wooden brush (very nice) and a hot lamp treatment on my back. She received a hot rock treatment but no head brushing. Now for the REAL problem... Apparently there were only the two therapists on site because every time the door opened (very noisy bells) or the phone range, my therapist left the room. The background music was nearly inaudibble. The numerous interruptions amounted to less than 45 minutes of what should have been an hour massage. Then when she returned to the room, she would share with the other therapist whatever had happened. After the massage, we paid and advised they should get a receptionist to eliminate the interruptions. Don't know if they understood what we were saying. On top of all that, both therapists kept insisting on "the tips, the tips".
