The customer at the checkout was trying to use an online or app coupon and the customer and the person at the cashier could not figure out the coupon while 5 of us in total stood and waited, and waited and waited. After at least 10 minutes we left our shoes on the counter and left the store. Probably $160 in sales lost because the checkout person must not have been trained on how to ask for help. I really liked the Sketchers I found but for me now I'll look online or elsewhere. Who is the manager here?!

Asking a simple question of whether they have other sizes (the product we wanted was the display option, it's completely normal and common to ask if they have others) and a simple no would've sufficed but this employee decided to speak so condescendingly to my mother and imply she's stupid for asking such questions while having an attitude. The other cashier was lovely and I wish I remembered either of their names but unfortunately I will never shop at this location again. I suggest training your staff better or something because the younger seemingly less experienced employee had much more understanding and was a whole lot more helpful.

THANK YOU Ashley, Assistant Manager, for taking care of my family on 11-23-2018.

I was in last week looking for sandals and Chantee was amazing! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, she's hilarious, and she is really just one of those rare folks in our service industries where you chat for a few minutes, and feel like you've known each other a lifetime. We easily stayed a few extra minutes just talking and making jokes. Whatever you're paying this gal, I'm almost positive it isn't enough! She's a truly invaluable resource to your team and really made what is usually an awkward experience into a wonderful one. Thanks again! I've gotta get my nephew some sandals now, I'll be back soon ;)

Tons of outdoor gear available for purchase. Some of us picked up snow shoes and snow clothing. That was our mission and it was a success to find them all here. Mind you though, the prices were crazy high. Either you can buy items used or new. A jacket my brother wanted was $500 and the one I wanted was $300. Be prepared to damage your wallet.. When checking out, we signed up for a membership. I didn't get a good look at the snowboards but I am looking for one to customize in pink with the word Hawaii at the bottom.

I broke my ten year Kohl's hiatus, enticed by the promise of home shopping convenience and a hefty…read more$25 in Kohl's cash earned from my online order. I should have known it would initiate a comedy of errors that would make me relearn the forgotten decade-old lesson. One item from my online order didn't fit, so I decided to return it at the nearest store, which is in another county. I prepared myself for the trek by making a shopping list of jeans to try on, confirming on their website that all were in stock at the store (jeans are something you really need to try on, buying them blindly is a gamble). All plans were thwarted when I entered the Silverdale store. It would be my last visit to any Kohl's; read on. The return went fine, other than their deducting $8 from the refund of the $35 item. I understood it was because I received Kohl's cash to spend, and that's fine. So let's go shopping! I was unable to locate any of the items on my shopping list. Since I neglected to pack snacks and a compass, I asked for help. The lady from the register made an effort to look around, but said she didn't recognize any of the items, and they never stocked them. Bait & switch, eh? Strike one, Kohl's. Determined to make the journey count, I searched for some jeans to try on. Leafing through a bizarre size distribution of XS to XL with squat in between, I found 3 whole pair that might remotely fit. But rut-roh, the fitting room was closed! After the predictable goose chase, I came in contact with Keeper of the Fitting Room, and kindly asked if I could enter her barricaded domain to try my 3 items. She said no. Really, no? I don't want to make another trip out here. She insisted, no, she was busy. Final word. Too busy with only one other customer in the store? How do they stay in business anyway? Strike two, Kohl's. Not wanting to waste time fighting it, but not wanting to waste time coming back out either, I summoned my inner bluejean rebel and tried on those jeans right there on the ghost down they call a sales floor. Turns out nothing fit right anyway, so I saved myself another two hour round trip. Fed up with the store, I went home to find something random online so I wouldn't lose my $25 Kohl's cash. Logging in, I found a cruel surprise - $12 Kohl's cash had vanished, along with my patience. In a last ditch effort, I found a $12 clearance tank top to spend my remaining consolation prize and be done with it. Then the free shipping coupon errored out, "try again later." Not in the mood to spend $8 shipping on sheer principal of getting my money's worth of random crap I don't need, I tapped out, down my original $25 coupon + $8 shorted on the refund. Yeah, I know, the house always wins. Strike three and Kohl's is out. It's no wonder the store was deserted. Limited selection, employees on permanent coffee break and pitfall policies. Silverdale Kohl's would better serve the community as a big, stupid, empty monument to apathy, which it probably will be before long. Buh-bye.

We entered in from the mall side and did a super quick loop as I kept looking back at her to let her know I noticed what she is doing. I never let his hand go. I somehow got lost as I was trying to get her off my tracks and asked a worker how to get back to the mall side which she was super helpful. Sadly I didn't get anything as I was really looking forward to specifically shopping here. Unsure if she was a floor walker or a kidnapper but I did not feel safe at all. We bounced so quick out of there. Way to scare away a potential customer if you were an obvious floor walker!

I…read moreoriginally just stopped to grab my daughter a new pair of boots because my husband left her shoes at the venue where we had just had her 2nd birthday party. However my very opinionated 2 year old saw the Hulk (she adores Hulk) shoes in the bigger kid sizes. I asked an employee about toddler sizes and she said no sorry. So we tried on some pink ones in her size. The employee (I didn't catch her name) came back and said she looked online to see if we were able to order the Hulk shoes from your website sadly we are not. Now most employees would leave it at that but she didn't. She asked my daughter who her favorite super hero was and she of course said Hulk and asked for the shoes. The employee apologized to my daughter about not having her size and asked what her second favorite. My daughter replied Spiderman. The employee had ready looked up other super hero shoes in toddler sizes while looking for the Hulk ones. The excitement in her face was priceless when she told my daughter that they had ONE pair of Spiderman shoes in her size! My daughter thanked her and had the biggest smile. It took a good 15 minuets and 2 employees to find the shoes (they were left in the wrong section when they recently moved product around in the back) my daughter was ecstatic about her new Spiderman shoes! Not only were all the employees so nice but the one that helped us (associate ID is 364553) went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday a little more special. None of the ladies working that day were judgmental of the fact my daughter wanted "boy" shoes. I can't say the same for any of my fellow patrons. I did get some funny looks when my 2 year old in a hot pink and orange dinosaur themed dress asked ever so politely for "Hulk smash" shoes. I will also be calling the Silverdale, Wa store today to tell my story to the managers there. I'm sure big companies like yourself get more complaints than compliments and I just wanted to let you know you and your employees are doing a great job! I've been shopping your store since I was a young teen. Now 27 and still shops there. You and your silverdale employees don't know how much a simple pair of Spiderman shoes will help my daughter. We have to go to Seattle Children's Hospital every few months for my daughter and having one of her favorite heroes on her feet and in her hands (she has a Spiderman action figure) will help her tremendously! So thank you very much!! Tristan
