I am very disappointed with Kohl's and its policies. One of the items I ordered was not available for shipping so I needed to pick it up from the store. This was an inconvenience itself since the whole point of me ordering online was so that I would NOT have to deal with parking, driving, etc. to the store. I paid for the total and earned $15 in Kohl's Cash. As a paying customer, I was under the impression that I PAID for my item. I was unable to pick it up and assumed that since I PAID for the item, it would be held. When I went to use my Kohl's Cash, I was informed that it was revoked because I did not pick up MY item that I PAID for. The item was then reshelved at the store and I was told that it would be taken off my bill. I wanted the item. I paid for the item. I purchased it as a gift for my sister. I did not receive a courtesy call that it would be forfeit. I don't understand why this would happen. How is this a good business policy? The customer has already paid for the item. It has become a profit. Why in the world would any company choose to refund the customer for an item that he/she clearly wanted that was bought and paid for? Plus, the customer service I spoke to on the phone was very unhelpful. They tried to be courteous by English was definitely not their native language. I found one or two brand name items in the skin care/cosmetics section that I ended up getting. I would've gotten more, but most things had no expiration dates which weirds me out with things I'm putting on my face. Unfortunately, most of the items were either previously opened/ broken/tested by other shoppers. Understandable, it isn't very busy. Many reviews about the smell are true though, a lot of parts of the mall smell pretty strange/musty, but nothing unbearable. Many different shops to go to and have fun every time, even if it's a little lonely.
