Great helpful staff. I could not be more pleased. Dr. Garibaldi cares about his patients and it shows.

He was formerly located at 46 Shirley Ave, Revere, and since the building was sold and demolished, his office is one block over at 19 Dehon Street, in a modern building, at the corner of North Shore Road and Dehon Street. His phone number is 781-284-5954

I managed to cure it mostly by myself by using rubbing alcohol and an off-the counter antibiotic ointment w/ pain relief thankfully, so I was thinking of cancelling the appointment, but went anyway since I figured it couldn't hurt to get it checked by a professional and avoid having to cancel last minute. Dr. Coen was very attentive and proceeded to take a look and ended up cleaning off some of the remaining pus and cutting the excess skin/nail off so that it would not bother me and completely heal. It was such a simple procedure that he didn't bother to ask for a co-pay/bill my insurance, even though I asked if there was a co-pay. That alone just made me post such a positive review... it's hard to find doctors that are so dedicated to help their patients. Thank you Dr. Coen. :)

I'm afraid this physician is too eager to put patients under the knife, & I wasn't eager to go as someone who had recently had a graft on a severely ruptured achilles tendon. I wanted to try non surgical treatment before getting to that point. I'm not sure who ever came up with the idea of a "soft cast" for broken bones, but it only worked until the bone reached a plateau & just didn't want to heal any more. Flooding in the area that year didn't help. I practically had to beg for a hard cast, which wasn't something I hadn't experienced before, to finally heal the bone. My husband went with pain from diabetes & what turned out to be a benign tumor in the other foot. Dr. Garibaldi again wanted to do surgery. A surgeon with whom he consulted for a second opinion--even our primary care physician reccommended a second opinion--stated this type of tumor is benign, tends to grow back & remain in situ, making surgery rather pointless. Staff is pleasant, but Doctor Garibaldi seems way to eager to perform surgery to solve his patients' problems.

The surgical unit was book for 9:00 am the doctor never showed up. Her office had reconfirmed the night before as did the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. The hospital called her approximately 9:20 am she asked to speak to me. Dr. Wu told me there was some error she didn't know I was scheduled for surgery. She said she could have got to the hospital with in 45 minutes but the hospital told her they would not be able to block any more space. She says she rebooked it for the following Friday at 10:00 am. She told me she would update my employer because of the error by that day before the end in the day. (( Dr. Wu refused previously to advise my employer of any information on the surgery or the medical leave necessity including the approximate projected recovery time. At one point after I asked for the information to be sent she got on the phone yelling at me for asking. I had to provide my employer with the paperwork she sent me confirming the surgery but still refused to provide any information on the projected recovery and she refused to advise my employer of her error causing it to look as a very sketchy situation ))The next day after the intended date of original surgery she called me to cancel the replacement date due to erroneous reasons. If I listed these reasons your head would spin off of your neck. Since I am in between speaking with several people I will refrain from giving you these reasons but I will update you once I have this issue settled. Unprofessional, rude, uncaring, unethical, uninterested or knowledgeable of my case, untruthful, wacky choice of wording and poor decision making is amongst only a few adjectives that come to mind to describe her. Despicable unacceptable Doctor.

He is thorough, and high tech - he sent me pix from my surgery that were taken during! I asked if he could, and he used his iphone to snap some shots! If you know me at all, you know that geek-ness wins my heart instantly. During our initial consultation, Dr. Locke was able to assess my issues by listening to my description and a minimal exam...and by minimal I mean that he is so good that he knows exactly what to look for just from my description of the pain/feeling. He went over all of the options for treatment, and I told him I wanted surgery, as the others didn't get the to issue and fix the problem. I was really afraid Dr. Locke was going to try to convince me otherwise, but he was totally supportive of the surgery decision. Instead of just telling me I would have to be less active and deal with the pain, he said that the point is to work with patients and their lifestyles to find the best solution, and for me, it was surgery. Dr. Locke is approachable, personable, and his credentials are outstanding.......that is... if you can get an appointment to see him! It's tough to get in and schedule follow ups, but the wait is totally well worth it.
