My foot is in need of repair and-- my left knee needs replaced. He is VERY experienced and he was extremely thoughtful in how to explain my situation without talking over my head. ALL he said and did make GREAT sense to me. We can try the nonsurgical method of treatment after the knee is put in. If I needed a more complicated procedure, he openly/honestly said it could be done-- although a colleague Surgeon of his, who is experienced with that procedure, he would recommend to me. We both agreed to try the less invasive first...and THAT being done AFTER I got the new knee. He told me to talk it over with my knee surgeon 1st and see if he agreed. I did..and my Knee surgeon is in total agreement with Dr. Conui's assessment and gave him high praises for such an accurate, well educated & honest opinion. Dr. Conui will always be my Podiatrist/Surgeon from now on until he retires. The staff in his Wakefield, Ma. office are TOP NOTCH also! VERY GOOD group there. Made m feel at home!

I'm going to admit, I was nervous about going here because of the poor reviews. But I tell you…read morehonestly, I have absolutely nothing in common with those negative experiences. Only good! I had to take my child here for a very complicated toe infection that was not responding via urgent care, nor her pediatrician, nor a double round of antibiotics. Dr. Morano was first of all, extremely competent. But the icing on all of the cake was his amazing sense of humor and dad jokes, how genuine he was, sensitive & gentle. Diane was our receptionist both times. She is incredibly sweet and probably the nicest receptionist I have ever dealt with in my life. I'm 45. And honestly, I have pretty high standards, finding myself frequently mentioning that so-and-so should never deal with the public or choose customer service as a profession We received excellent care in an extremely warm and inviting atmosphere. Booking the appointment on the phone was easy and the receptionist was empathetic, kind, and extremely accommodating for a semi emergency. Basically, I would look **forward** to a holiday dinner if I had Dr. Murano and Diane there. If you are not familiar with the area... You cannot really head left out of the parking lot to leave but we found a different way around. Not an issue for this second appointment at 6:20 AM... Thank you so much for having a before school appointment! But it was for an appointment during rush hour, the previous Time. I really hate that intersection. I never thought I would say it, but I'm actually going to miss our Pediatric Podiatrist! Five stars in every single way. I highly encourage you to go there if do you need adult or pediatric care for your foot. I hope that other people who have such a wonderful experience also choose to post reviews!! Thank you, both.

He is very negative and pessimistic and would not even answer my questions. After 3 months he suggested surgery and when I asked him if I will be able to walk again - he said he cannot tell me what the outcome will be but I can try. So, I switched podiatrists and was treated within 2 visits - I have had no complains ever since. This doctor is only interested in billing your insurance company - he is not interested in treating you because if he did he will lloose you a s a patient. Sorry - harsh but true.

Not only did he not listen to me, he spent about three minutes in the office with me and completely disregarded all of my symptoms, comments, and questions. His only recommendation was to do some strengthening exercises. When I questioned whether I might have a tendon injury that could be causing the pain, his only response was to say that we'd "address that down the line". The entire experience was awful and a waste of a $20 copay. I left the office feeling as though I had not been listened to, that my pain and experience meant nothing to this doctor, and that he only gave me the courtesy of the three minutes for insurance billing purposes. I called my primary care physician requesting an appointment for a 2nd opinion and was treated with the respect, care, and diligence that I have come to expect based on my excellent experiences with her thus far. Apparently not all physicians measure up to the same bar. After my doctor evaluated my symptoms I was diagnosed with tendonitis, prescribed to a physical therapy plan, and given helpful suggestions as to how I can reduce my discomfort and avoid stressing the injury. Dr Carroll, a supposed specialist, did not even mention the words tendonitis or physical therapy.
