I saw Dr. Amin. She looked at my foot, probably took about five minutes with me and sent a prescription to my local CVS and told me to pick it up and come back in 10 days. That afternoon CVS contacted me saying they could not fill that prescription but they were contacting the doctor for a different prescrition. Friday morning I called tried to talk with the doctor and was told she was off that day. I finally got a callback from the office - not the doctor Tuesday afternoon and they said well just pick up the over-the-counter product. I told him I was very dissatisfied and wanted to speak with the doctor. I canceled my follow up appointment for obvious reasons and I have yet to hear from the doctor. Spent about eight weeks. I told him to do not dare send me a bill for their lack of services. today I got a bill copayment $10. They apparently sent it into the insurance company for the major portion of bill and have been paid or will be paid by them. Very very dissatisfied would not recommend us to a dog.

Please keep in mind that in most instances the clinic manager hires front office, not the doctor. If you are upset by non-clinical office staff, then pick up the phone and complain to the clinic's office manager or call HR. Don't ding the doc because you're unhappy with office staff. My family member (the patient) has been going to Dr. Stipek for several years, and they couldn't be any HAPPIER and SATISFIED! They love this doctor and his work. Dr. Stipek bends over backwards for his patients. He is very accommodating to his patients and is a great role model for other physicians. It's very hard to find a good doctor these days and we truly appreciate and value him. We highly recommend Dr. Stipek and never had issues with his staff.

Fast forward to 2024, I needed my medical records from 2014, I called on a Thursday, and the woman said she had to speak to someone because they switched systems, and she would call me back. She didn't call me back, but I understood because it was going to come up on the weekend. Monday was a holiday, yet still early morning I got a call telling me the documents I needed were ready. I went to pick them up, easy peasy. It was weird that I had to pay $15 just for print out of two pages, but they were willing to let me just have them when we were having issues paying out. I did keep insistent to pay, which I ended up doing, but it was nice of them not to trip about it. The two ladies at the front desk were very nice, I wish I had gotten their name. But as a hospital staff and patient, I know how critical the front desk staff is. Because they're not only managing the stuff going on for the clinic, but they also have to do things like print out medical records for patients like me. They have an exhausting job

When I explained I would be starting chemo the day before and that might not work, the receptionist said, "I'm confused, do you want an appointment here or not?" I have never in my life seen a doctor leave before the time an appointment started, and without even calling to say she was planning to leave if we did not arrive soon. From my experience, I felt his bedside manner could be better. I often left feeling like my injury and concerns were being minimized and that I wasn't being fully heard. My impression is that he has a very direct, surgeon-focused approach, which may work well for some patients but wasn't the best fit for me. I can't say he's a bad doctor. However, beyond providing me with time off from work, I don't feel much was done to fully evaluate all of my complaints. For example, I never received comprehensive strength testing for the various issues I reported. One thing that also concerned me was that the office seemed to use a standard template in the medical notes. Some of the statements about my care did not accurately reflect what occurred during my visits, which I found frustrating. I've also spoken with three other people who were not particularly happy with their experiences when I mentioned Dr. Alter. Of course, that's anecdotal, and it doesn't mean he isn't an excellent surgeon. This review is simply my personal experience as a patient. I will say Amanda the medical receptionist was great, every request I asked for, she promptly responded to me with the information I needed.

I recommend the surgeons at Orthopedic Associated of North Chelmsford, MA. As a retired RN with…read moreO.R. experience, I tend to be very critical of surgeons. Since 2019, I've had several procedures to alleviate the pain of osteoarthritis. First, a left rotator cuff repair then, in the fall, a left knee replacement, by Dr. Scott Sigman. High praise for him and his team. I had minimal post op pain and was walking the day of surgery. Several years later I had the pleasure of bilateral hip replacements, 1 yr apart, by Dr. Stephen Designa. Again, minimal post op discomfort and, with physical therapy, return to normal with no more pain. And such tiny incisions--I can barely see them! Thank you and bless you, Dr. Designa. Now, in 2026 I'm back for more magic, seeing Dr. Howard Wu for bilateral shoulder arthritis . He is urging me to have the surgeries, first the left which is giving me the most discomfort and limited range of motion, then, after a time, the right. But, since I'm elderly and also caring for my disabled husband, I've been putting it off. He's right,of course, I need them ,and I'm not afraid but he listens to me and, I think, understands. It's comforting to know that, when I'm ready, he'll do his best to give me real golden years. We baby boomers are lucky. Modern technology and talented surgeons.
