Dr. Merlin was awesome! My second time was for my knee, torn meniscus. I had it repaired and had no problem so far (2 days will be a month since the surgery) with the surgery. It's healed great, minimal pain and bruising. Still going to PT and will be out of work for another month but no complaints about any of it!! Dr. Schyeler was amazing! He wasn't even sure he'd be able to repair it because it was so bad, but he did!!!! Thank you Coastal Orthopedic for all you guys do!!

Denise, who answered the phone told me, (in a not so nice tone) "well, if you're going to be late then we have to cancel this appointment. Besides, you should have been here earlier anyway." So my appointment was really at 2:45? That's info I could have used! I stated that I can not wait another 30 days so I am going to have to look elsewhere. She quickly responded, " That's fine!" Then hung up. The audacity of these medical money mongers never ceases to amaze me. Avoid this place unless it's the last place!

I usually don't care for the way most doctors treat patients but Allara and Yoon are exceptional, they actually treat patients as patients not numbers. My wife and I have had horrible experiences with medical professionals but never have we had one complaint with Allara and Yoon. These guys understand that all patients are not the same. They understand that what is normal for one patient is not necessarily normal for another. They actually put some thought into your problems instead of just running down a check list. At one time I thought proper medical treatment was no existent North of Boston but after 25+ years of dealing with MFM Health I know that good health care can be found.

While the physician herself was kind and pleasant, I was extremely disappointed with the overall level of professionalism in the office. During our visit, I could hear medical assistants speaking loudly outside the exam room, asking things like, "Who's room is Ava in?" and "What room is she in again?" It did not inspire confidence, especially as a parent bringing in an infant. I ended up calling out, "Ava is in here," just to clarify. At the appointment, my daughter was supposed to receive two vaccines. About a week or two later, I received a call from the office informing me that one of the vaccines had not actually been administered. Instead, she was given saline. I was told they later found the vaccine at the bottom of an empty box. As a parent, this is extremely concerning. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in a medical setting, especially when it involves infants. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uneasy about the quality control and communication within the practice. We will be going elsewhere.

I did not have a podiatrist, I called my PCP for a recommendation. He referred me to Dr Richard Eisner. I called his office. the staff was very understanding and accommodating. I was given an immediate appointment due to the circumstances. Dr Eisner took xrays to rule out any fractures, then he treated my injury ( I won't go into the details ). Dr. Eisner is extremely thorough, gentile and informative. An expert in his field. I have been to many podiatrist over the years and he is the best. I would and do recommend him to all my family and friends. Thank you Dr Eisner for taking such good care of me and my left foot! :)

I had to have the top of a blister removed. Dr Peter gave me no information such as what it would feel like, no local anesthesia and no instructions on aftercare. The worst though is one member of the office who is rude both on the phone and in person for no apparent reason. If you work in a dr office you are often dealing with people, sick, in pain or scared. It would be nice if she would either be nicer or leave.

I went to Dr. Jewett in June 2015, because I had residual pain after having a neuromectomy in July…read more2014. He mis-diagnosed me with a neuroma, and in spite of me having several unsuccessful cortisone shots in this foot and that there was no evidence of a neuroma in my mri, he felt that another injection was a good idea. Against my better judgement, I went ahead with his suggestion, & as a result can't walk without pain (4 months after the injection). 4 years of foot school & the only diagnosis he can come up with is a neuroma. I have tried to call the office to discuss this, and the office manager is offensive & rude. She told me that I had already taken enough of his time, and that usually patients come in and leave and their problem is fixed. Dr. Jewett also mentioned to me that he took 45 minutes with me, for a 15 minute appointment. It then became clear to me, why he was so quick to give me a cortisone injection. Dr. Jewett wanted to go back in to surgically remove a neuroma that is not even there! It is one of his very few bags of tricks & he wanted me out of there quickly as I had already taken up too much of his time. After going to other doctors, it looks like I have a plantar plate tear & the injection made it significantly worse. His hastiness in diagnosing (mis-diagnosing) me is clear. Dr. Jewett is not a good doctor. Had he taken more time to listen, consider my history, & look at the MRI, this terrible situation could have been avoided. I hate to write a negative reviews, but hopefully this will prevent someone else from having a similar situation with this doctor. Bottom line- avoid the factory docs like this one & cortisone injections.
