This was my second visit and each time I like him even more. He takes time to listen to your concerns, asks if I have any other problems, and when I told him of my many recurring foot/leg ulcers he took pictures of my most recent wound and confirmed that the wound doctor I am seeing is a good doctor and calmed my fears that the procedure he recommended to help the wound heal was a good one. When I explained I would be starting chemo the day before and that might not work, the receptionist said, "I'm confused, do you want an appointment here or not?" I have never in my life seen a doctor leave before the time an appointment started, and without even calling to say she was planning to leave if we did not arrive soon. Dr. Catherine Wu did not show up for my bunionectomy On…read more3/22/18. I was prepped on the gurney with the IV in place consulted with anesthesiologist and signed consents. The surgical unit was book for 9:00 am the doctor never showed up. Her office had reconfirmed the night before as did the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. The hospital called her approximately 9:20 am she asked to speak to me. Dr. Wu told me there was some error she didn't know I was scheduled for surgery. She said she could have got to the hospital with in 45 minutes but the hospital told her they would not be able to block any more space. She says she rebooked it for the following Friday at 10:00 am. She told me she would update my employer because of the error by that day before the end in the day. (( Dr. Wu refused previously to advise my employer of any information on the surgery or the medical leave necessity including the approximate projected recovery time. At one point after I asked for the information to be sent she got on the phone yelling at me for asking. I had to provide my employer with the paperwork she sent me confirming the surgery but still refused to provide any information on the projected recovery and she refused to advise my employer of her error causing it to look as a very sketchy situation ))The next day after the intended date of original surgery she called me to cancel the replacement date due to erroneous reasons. If I listed these reasons your head would spin off of your neck. Since I am in between speaking with several people I will refrain from giving you these reasons but I will update you once I have this issue settled. Unprofessional, rude, uncaring, unethical, uninterested or knowledgeable of my case, untruthful, wacky choice of wording and poor decision making is amongst only a few adjectives that come to mind to describe her. I had to have the top of a blister removed. Dr Peter gave me no information such as what it would feel like, no local anesthesia and no instructions on aftercare. The worst though is one member of the office who is rude both on the phone and in person for no apparent reason. If you work in a dr office you are often dealing with people, sick, in pain or scared. It would be nice if she would either be nicer or leave.

I had to take my child here for a very complicated toe infection that was not responding via urgent care, nor her pediatrician, nor a double round of antibiotics. Dr. Morano was first of all, extremely competent. But the icing on all of the cake was his amazing sense of humor and dad jokes, how genuine he was, sensitive & gentle. Diane was our receptionist both times. She is incredibly sweet and probably the nicest receptionist I have ever dealt with in my life. I'm 45. And honestly, I have pretty high standards, finding myself frequently mentioning that so-and-so should never deal with the public or choose customer service as a profession We received excellent care in an extremely warm and inviting atmosphere. Booking the appointment on the phone was easy and the receptionist was empathetic, kind, and extremely accommodating for a semi emergency. Basically, I would look **forward** to a holiday dinner if I had Dr. Murano and Diane there. If you are not familiar with the area... You cannot really head left out of the parking lot to leave but we found a different way around. Not an issue for this second appointment at 6:20 AM... Thank you so much for having a before school appointment! But it was for an appointment during rush hour, the previous Time. I really hate that intersection. I never thought I would say it, but I'm actually going to miss our Pediatric Podiatrist! Five stars in every single way. My foot is in need of repair and-- my left knee needs replaced. He is VERY experienced and he was extremely thoughtful in how to explain my situation without talking over my head. ALL he said and did make GREAT sense to me. We can try the nonsurgical method of treatment after the knee is put in. If I needed a more complicated procedure, he openly/honestly said it could be done-- although a colleague Surgeon of his, who is experienced with that procedure, he would recommend to me. We both agreed to try the less invasive first...and THAT being done AFTER I got the new knee. He told me to talk it over with my knee surgeon 1st and see if he agreed. I did..and my Knee surgeon is in total agreement with Dr. Conui's assessment and gave him high praises for such an accurate, well educated & honest opinion. Dr. Conui will always be my Podiatrist/Surgeon from now on until he retires. The staff in his Wakefield, Ma. office are TOP NOTCH also! VERY GOOD group there. Made m feel at home!
