She said that was fine. When I arrived, it was 2:56 (after parking and navigating to the 2nd floor). The receptionist asks if I am here for my 2:45pm appointment, I said yes. She looks at her watch, pointing out the time and lets me know that the doctor may not be able to see me. "It has barely been 10 minutes" I said. She tells me to hold on and she will speak with the doctor. The doctor is just steps away in another room, I can hear their conversation. The doctor says "Just put her in a room and I will look at it real quick" with an annoyed attitude. I politely left. I will not allow a doctor with that lack of care in her voice to perform any kind of care and treatment on me. The vibes of this place and that doctor were not good at all!

But she was incredibly unprofessional, would bad talk her staff in front of me, would blame them for her forgetting things and then the two big things were 1) she prescribed an ointment for me and when I told her at the next visit I wasn't using it she said "why would you have that medicine?" As if I prescribed it to myself! And 2) she was incredibly hostile toward me when I calmly asked her to clarify a bill that I received and she claimed I was trying to "get a free treatment" I had to calmly say to her "I don't know why you are getting so angry, I am just trying to understand my bill, which is my right" she the later apologized and then proceeded to throw her staff under the bus for misbilling me. Net/net I would not recommend her to anyone , which is a shame because she came highly recommended, but I think things have changed in the last few years.

He is thorough, and high tech - he sent me pix from my surgery that were taken during! I asked if he could, and he used his iphone to snap some shots! If you know me at all, you know that geek-ness wins my heart instantly. During our initial consultation, Dr. Locke was able to assess my issues by listening to my description and a minimal exam...and by minimal I mean that he is so good that he knows exactly what to look for just from my description of the pain/feeling. He went over all of the options for treatment, and I told him I wanted surgery, as the others didn't get the to issue and fix the problem. I was really afraid Dr. Locke was going to try to convince me otherwise, but he was totally supportive of the surgery decision. Instead of just telling me I would have to be less active and deal with the pain, he said that the point is to work with patients and their lifestyles to find the best solution, and for me, it was surgery. The podiatrist barely even looked at me before saying "it's a sprain, you'll be fine by Monday." I angrily told him it was NOT a sprain, that I knew my body and something was wrong. Enter Dr. Friedberg the following week who, after some manipulation of my foot, and some questions concluded that I had a fascia tear that would probably take a few months to heal. Man was I glad I went to Dr. Friedberg! My foot did take a few months to heal, but he was nothing but kind, gentle, and professional through the entire process. He offered tips and tricks on how to regain strength and reduce pain, showed me my MRI images, and explained things in very simple and detailed ways.
