I managed to cure it mostly by myself by using rubbing alcohol and an off-the counter antibiotic ointment w/ pain relief thankfully, so I was thinking of cancelling the appointment, but went anyway since I figured it couldn't hurt to get it checked by a professional and avoid having to cancel last minute. Dr. Coen was very attentive and proceeded to take a look and ended up cleaning off some of the remaining pus and cutting the excess skin/nail off so that it would not bother me and completely heal. It was such a simple procedure that he didn't bother to ask for a co-pay/bill my insurance, even though I asked if there was a co-pay. That alone just made me post such a positive review... it's hard to find doctors that are so dedicated to help their patients. Thank you Dr. Coen. :)

Dr. Pantano is very thorough, friendly, and patient-centric. I've worn orthotics for more than four decades, and this is my first experience with this clinic. The only drawback is the lady who works in the office. She is very nice. But once I told her that I was cured and I wanted to cancel my next appointment. She hung up no me! I will tell the Dr. I'm sure he wouldn't be happy to hear this. I went to this office for almost 2 years. And if I could have done what he told me. Get the oil. Not the cream. My insurance yuck! I came in to see Dr. Aaronson because I had a lot of pain in my bunion from playing sports. The office took a foot X-ray, and Dr. Aaronson told me I might have gout (highly unlikely in my opinion since I had gout once before and it felt nothing like this, which I told him). He told me I might need surgery and sold me a pair of $90 inserts. The next day I went to Marathon Sports because I heard they have a machine that you can use for free that scans your feet to find the right shoe size. I did this scan, and it turned out I was wearing sneakers that were 1/2 to 1 size too small! I bought new sneakers and the pain problem was solved! Dr. Aaronson NEVER EVEN MEASURED MY FEET AND TOLD ME I WAS WEARING SHOES THAT WERE TOO SMALL. I can't believe that a podiatrist didn't do the most basic thing of seeing if my shoes were the correct size and I instead found this out for free by simply going to a shoe store.
